Aranlaw House Care Home

Aranlaw is a wonderful house, every time I visit I have a good time and my friend is always looking nice and I can see the care is outstanding, the activities are really fun and the food is very tasty, I recommend Aranlaw to anyone that is looking for care home.

My mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's disease has been residing at Aranlaw House Care Home for nearly a year. The manager and staff at Aranlaw appear to meet all of her needs plus the needs of all the other residents and I have been very impressed by all the activities arranged for the residents on a daily basis. My mother-in-law has complex needs so these activities are important to her mental wellbeing and she seems very happy living at Aranlaw. Summing up, I would highly recommend Aranlaw not only for its patient care but also for the way its friendly staff treat all visitors.

I would strongly recommend that others consider this care home for their loved ones.

My mum has been a resident at Aranlaw House Care Home for over 10 months. She is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Aranlaw is an excellent care home and I would highly recommend others to choose it as their first choice for their relative requiring a residential placement. The manager and her team consistently endeavour to meet all of Mum's needs and the needs of all residents. Mum has settled well despite her complex issues and this is due to the excellent care approach to her wellbeing, very important to Dad, myself and my family. There is always a positive, lively 'can do' attitude and a superb team of activity coordinators providing a varied and interesting programme of activities, extremely important to my mum and many others.

The home is such a nice home and I feel very welcome every time I visit.

Aranlaw House Care Home is very good. I'm very happy at the home and the activities are good. Food is good too, I can't complain. The managers are always happy to help. The home is excellent.

The home is so understanding of dementia and I haven't seen my friend so happy and accepted for many years as she is in this home.

I am very glad to see Mum receiving the best care daily. She feels safe and happy living at Aranlaw House. Mum is well looked after with respect and I want to say a massive thank you to all the caring staff and management. They are all very supportive of the residents and family members.

I cannot praise the staff at Aranlaw House enough for the care they have given my mother over the last four years. All members of staff from the management team to the cleaners are kind and caring people and the residents are always their first priority. From my mother's first day to her last we never had any doubts whatsoever about the care she was receiving at the home. The staff are truly amazing.

Wonderful Home, they are doing an amazing job during the Coronavirus Outbreak, I couldn't be happier. The home is lovely and the garden big and has enough space for my sister to come out a bit and have a relaxing day.

Before Dad entered the home, we found staff to be very friendly. On entering the home Dad was made to feel at home straight away. Staff were on hand to assist him if he needed help, they treated him as if he had been there a long time.

I wish to thank the management and staff at Aranlaw House for caring for my aunt so well over the last 12 years. It was so clear to us on our visits to Aunt how everyone loved and cared for her and how much she was missed when she passed away. My husband and I also felt we were part of the Aranlaw family when we came to visit, just as Aunt did. You made us so welcome and we have many fond memories of our trips down from North Yorkshire to see her. I really miss my daily telephone chats with Aunt and our friends at Aranlaw and will call in when we are next in Poole to say hello.

Such a wonderful and friendly home. Excellent standards of care. Amazing services for the residents. The staff are kind and genuinely loving to the residents. It touched my heart to see how loving the staff are.

The only thing I hear him say negative is that he doesn't always like the main meals but he never goes hungry.
