Aranlaw House Care Home

Aranlaw has been amazing for mum. The staff are phenomenal - nothing is too much trouble They are kind, patient, caring, fun, happy... the list is endless. The food is tasty and varied. They keep mum stimulated every day with fun activities and trips out. She is lucky to be a resident and mums general wellbeing and happiness has improved since she has been here. Thank you.

He is offered food and drinks regularly as well as at meal times after a visit I can go home with a smile knowing he is well cared for.

Since my husband has been at Aranlaw House he seems so well, and so much more alert. I notice the staff all seem very well trained and take their time with all of the residents. So much patience and definitely doesn't go unnoticed. The food is excellent - full marks to the chef. Cleanliness at Aranlaw is wonderful, always pristine. Activities are really good - very well organised. Thank you all.

My father is at the stage where he is unable to sit up. No problem at Aranlaw, a special chair was purchased for him which helps to support him. This means he is not bedbound and can join the other residents in the lounge, dining hall and outside. Thanks to Aaranlaw, his quality of life is the best it can be at this stage of the disease.

I visit Aranlaw House regularly to minister to residents. I always receive a warm and friendly welcome from the whole team. The home is bright and cheerful and there is always lots of activities for the residents to get involved in.

Full marks for cleanliness and the lovely food.

I visit a resident who formally attended my church in Yeovil. The lady I visit has nobody else in the world so she is very important to us. The care she receives has consistently impressed me, especially on unannounced visits. It is clear that they (the staff) treat her with dignity and love and the evidence seen in her excellent appearance and overall wellbeing. I am very pleased with the care received.

I spent several hours on each visit to my husband on most days of the week. During these visits, I have been able to observe all grades of staff and I'm always extremely impressed by their professionalism and warmth towards every single resident- no matter how challenging. I consider Aranlaw House gives high-quality care to all residents and relatives/friends at all times.
