Dale has been home manager at Faithfull House since June 2017 he has worked for over 20 years with Lilian Faithfull Care.
He started his career with the charity whilst working part-time as a domestic when he was at college. Since then he has worked his way in a wide variety of roles in all of our homes, spending 3 years as assistant manager, deputy manager and home manager before coming to lead Faithfull House. This experience has meant he has an in-depth knowledge of all the aspects of life in our homes, understanding every detail.
Dale thrives in his role as home manager; “It’s different every day, I am a real people person so this job is so rewarding”. His ‘open door approach’ means he is always available for residents, staff and their families. The support given to families can often be overlooked but it is an important part of Dale’s role; “We like to be there for families whenever they need us, whether for advice and guidance or to be there to listen and offer a shoulder to cry on.” Another aspect of the role that he loves is the opportunity to help staff develop “it is so rewarding helping people progress in their careers.”
