Mum came to the home for respite care after a period of illness. She was made to feel very welcome from the day she arrived. Her room was lovely and light with patio doors to a well tended garden, mum enjoyed watching the activity in the garden, the beautiful surroundings reminded her of her garden at home, respite became permanant As an ex nurse and carer Mum's standards are high and I'm happy to say Oakhaven exceeded her and our families expectations. The menus offered good choices with flexible options. The staff are wonderful Hazel, Sharon, Lisa, Harsha, a few of the many who are exceptional the staffing here is first rate. Harsha is 5 star!

I booked my mother-in-law in for respite for a week. Very impressed with staff and care. She really enjoyed her stay and settled in very well. We come in once a week for bathing service and once a month we like to come in for Sunday lunch.

I found all the staff and other residents all in good form. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. I was given a dinner with my partner which was really well prepared. Also offered plenty of refreshments.

I am a carer that visited a resident who was on respite and I just want to say that I've worked in Care for 15 years and I've never seen such a great run home. The staff are all lovely. The Home is lovely activities all the time flowers being arranged pictures just a total overall vibe of the home and the energy was really quite beautiful. I would highly recommend this place It's the top one I've ever seen. Well done stuff you're all doing a great job.

I could not wish for a better place for my Aunt to spend her final days. Well last 3 years really. The staff are amazing, food is great. Just an all round perfect place.

Each resident is treated as an individual & this is their home. The atmosphere is always happy & cheerful. My mother is very well cared for and wants for nothing. I can't thank the staff enough for their care.

The home is extremely welcoming to family & friends. Mum has settled in so well after 2yrs. I feel comfortable leaving mum in their care & the staff (all staff) are very sensitive to her needs & understands her needs. Everytime I visit residents are happy & they get the residents involved in many activities that can stimulate the brain. I am extremely happy with all the care.

From the first time we came to view Oakhaven me and a relative we knew it was the right place and was hoping there would be a vacancy. Since being here his health and welfare has improved 100% he is very happy here and being well looked after.

The care my mum received whilst at Oakhaven, and right up to her passing was exceptional. The love, support and care were second to none for my dear mum as well as myself and our family. From the very start of Mum's residency, every member of staff was professional, friendly and kind. I would highly recommend Oakhaven to anyone looking for care for a loved one. Both my nana and aunt have been very happy at Oakhaven, I feel it to be a home from home. Happy environment, staff care and are always willing to listen to any concerns. Clean, well staffed and very professional, respecting all needs and cultural needs too. Visiting times is an open-door approach. My aunt came on respite and is now happy in the home.
