Parton House offers something for everyone, no matter what your personality. The hub of daily life at the home is the spacious main lounge where everyone gathers to relax, read and perhaps talk over tea or coffee.

There is a separate TV lounge, and a quieter reception lounge, which is perfect for family gatherings or for when you or your visitors require extra privacy. For those of you who enjoy the movies there is a cinema room where latest films as well as the classics of days gone by are screened.

My dad has ben with Parton House since last summer. He wasn't keen on the move but it needed to happen. All members of the team bent over backwards to make Dad feel welcome and myself at ease with our decision.
He is very well cared for, there is genuine care for the resident's health and well-being.
My dad has grown to love the carehome, the staff and the other residents have become his new friends and family.
Dad has been in hospital recently and staff have been amazingly supportive throughout the whole experience.
Dad and myself are looking forward to him returning back to Parton House!

After living at home most of her life she found it very difficult to move to a care home, but the staff have done a superb job in making her comfortable and settled in the care home. She is very happy and very well looked after.

My mother has been to three different care homes over the years and Parton House has by far been the best for so many reasons, always friendly staff, always clean, and never a bad smell. There is no such thing as a cheap care home however some homes are a lot more expensive than Parton. The other reason
I have liked this home is its homely atmosphere, not like a 5* hotel but more like a large family home. I thoroughly recommend Parton House.

The staff and management are always welcoming and genuinely care. No request is too much trouble. Their knowledge of dealing with the elderly gives reassurance to those of us with little experience in this.

Parton House is so much more than a residential home, it is one big family unit. The Covid period was for our family a very difficult time as we live abroad, but we knew that mum was loved and well cared for by everyone who works at Parton House. There have been many changes in management since mum
came to live in Parton House some not so good, but the combination of staff who work there now are just fantastic people who do so much more than their job requires. They provide mum with the best care and are always there if we need a chat. The staff are very friendly caring and professional, nothing is too much trouble. We know that mum is very happy and safe and we would recommend Parton House to anyone who is looking for a new home for their family member.

We were really apprehensive about having mum cared for in a home in fact we had many sleepless nights worrying about what to do for the best. She said she didn’t want to go but would be happy to do 2 weeks' respite. So that’s what we did. After a first home visit, we then arrived for respite in March
2022 we arrived and were greeted by the fab team who spoke to mum and reassured her she would be ok and they would look after her. At all times they spoke to mum they made sure she was aware of everything going on. We left very teary and again sleepless nights worrying if she was okay.


The manager, called us the following day to let us know how she was settling in and sent us some beautiful pictures of mum playing games with the other residents. That was the moment we knew it was right for mum. She has become more chatty, joining in games and activities, eating really well and above all, she is cared for. 2 weeks later mum decided to stay. Thank you Parton House you are all amazing.

Having looked at a number of care facilities we chose Parton House for its feel, facilities and staff. We have been very happy on a number of fronts and are delighted with the support and care we are seeing. In our opinion, it is a truly caring environment, clean, light and airy and providing exactly

Having cared for my relative for a number of years I was quite nervous about handing over the reins to someone else. Parton House has been fantastic with the care they have provided and continues to provide. Always kept updated and have been fantastic in keeping residents safe during Covid.


The

home is always clean and tidy, the food looks and smells excellent and always treats available. The staff are so friendly and really do support the residents in every way.


During Covid when visits weren’t available, they helped assist with window visits, FaceTime calls and were always on hand for any questions we had. Thank you so much Parton House for the care you provide and very happy things are becoming a bit more normal with visits and days out with family.

Mum was welcomed into the care home and has found it to be very friendly, clean and comfortable, and the staff are fantastic. I have every trust in the staff because they inform me of all aspects of mum's care and as things happen. They dealt with the incredibly difficult situations during Covid very
well indeed and so we felt very confident that mum was receiving all the necessary care and attention.

My father has been a resident for over 2 years.
He has been constantly well looked after and is generally happy and enjoys his interaction with the staff who have always been caring, kind and professional. Staff turnover is low so the relationships are constant and good.


Communication is very good

among the senior nursing staff, with constant updates on any health issues.

The past two “Covid”, years have been really difficult for the Residents, Management, staff and families. With ever-changing policies and procedures, the management team led from the front, supporting and training staff to deal with new challenges but most of all ensuring that everything was done to
keep all residents safe. Our family were so grateful for being kept informed, for all the love, care and support given to my Mum, especially at times like Christmas and birthdays. She said the staff were so caring; nothing was too much trouble, she felt part of their family.


My dear Mum was a resident for 4 years and sadly passed away in January 2022. The Manager, Assistant Manager and staff could not have been more supportive and compassionate towards me and my family. The Management team strive to meet the needs of all residents and are always seeking ways to improve the support and care they give to each individual, for the best quality of life. I highly recommend Parton House.

My grandmother has lived in Churchdown since 1969. As her health and mobility deteriorated, it was important to us as a family that we found somewhere, local and with familiar surroundings. Transitioning somewhere new can be a hugely emotional time for the person involved but the manager and her team
quickly put us at ease. We are delighted with how well my grandmother has settled and adapted to the next phase in her life. The care provided is very person-centred and clearly reflects individual needs and preferences. Parton House is a well-run home, that provides excellent care.

Care home is always clean and tidy, staff are friendly and helpful. The home have been very thorough and careful throughout the pandemic and we’ve been kept very well informed throughout. Parton House is a great place! Mum went into Parton House during the lockdown and has been well looked after.
The manager and assistant have been so supportive in settling her in and are amazing at communicating with the family.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to
make sure the residents are happy
Mum says she is well looked after and the food is great - it’s like being in a hotel. She’s very content.

My mother became a resident of Parton House in August 2021. This was after having visited a number of care homes, in order to establish which could best provide the care and attention that she needed. The facilities at Parton House are of a high standard and include a social lounge, dining room and
cinema room. The bedrooms I have seen are airy and well furnished and my mother's room looks out over the well-maintained back gardens. My mother has enjoyed having her hair and nails done when the hairdresser/manicurist has visited the home. All the staff that I have met are professional, friendly and caring. During a recent illness, the staff have ensured that my mother has been well cared for, arranging visits by the local GP when required and keeping me informed of any developments. I wanted somewhere where my mother would feel safe and be cared for 24/7 and Parton House has lived up to my hopes and expectations. Thank you.

Parton House is a very well run care home. My mum has been looked after so very well. The managers and carers are so helpful and extremely welcoming. We as a family feel comfort in knowing Mum is being so well cared for. We highly recommend Parton House. The activities are well run, food is excellent.
