Parton House offers something for everyone, no matter what your personality. The hub of daily life at the home is the spacious main lounge where everyone gathers to relax, read and perhaps talk over tea or coffee.

There is a separate TV lounge, and a quieter reception lounge, which is perfect for family gatherings or for when you or your visitors require extra privacy. For those of you who enjoy the movies there is a cinema room where latest films as well as the classics of days gone by are screened.

From day one mum was treated with kindness and dignity and extra care always chatting to h er and painting her nails when she was upset. Not only did they help her they also helped us to come to terms with her moving from sheltered housing to her new home aged 93 years old.
I feel they go the extra
mile taking them to Weston-Super-Mare and garden centres. She has made new friends and feels part of one big family.

The home is situated in beautiful grounds with easy access and parking facilities.
Staff and management have been very helpful in settling my father in his first month at the home.
I would have no hesitation in recommendation of the home.

I am impressed with the care my aunt has received at Parton House during her ten day's respite.
The staff treat her with dignity and respect and the new management is excellent. All phone calls and emails have been dealt with efficiently. My aunt has particularly appreciated activities such as the
volunteer who comes to play her flute every Saturday afternoon and the chicks that hatched from the eggs during her stay.

Parton House provides a secure and very caring service. Staff are polite, involved, approachable and knowledgeable about by aunt.
The home environment is warm and welcoming, the gardens are beautiful. There is a good range of activities within the home and regular outings.

The family have a good relationship with the manager and staff and work with them to ensure our father's needs are met. The service given is caring and professional and we do not have any concerns as to the care that they give. Meals are very good and fortifying.

Over the last four years, I have visited Parton House care home at least twice a week to see a friend. Talking to some of the residents, the staff, in general, are very good and caring. Their concern is the food isn't up to standard, the choices are few and far between and some don't want it. The only
other thing is the response button - If a carer could visit the person that pressed the button, making sure all is OK. But the response has been twenty minutes or more where a person might be on the floor or seriously ill. Not good enough.

As part of our quality monitoring, we are currently reviewing the menus with our residents to ensure we are offering meals they chose and enjoy. We also monitor the time taken for staff to respond to a call bell, although I believe such a long delay would be very exceptional.

Standards at this home have been improving greatly recently. I visit most days and am always made to feel welcome by the staff. Any problems my mother has experienced have been addressed with care and imagination. She enjoys participating in the activities on offer, within her capabilities. The manager

My mother is well looked after, the premises and staff are always welcoming. I call in at various times of the day and always find the residents to be comfortable, safe, occupied and have staff supervision.
Family visit at various times and all report back the same feeling of satisfaction.
Good
