Parton House

My husband has received a very high level of care and understanding with kindness and patience from all the members of staff during his respite stay at Parton House. It has been an extremely challenging time with the Covid situation. The staff have worked so hard and have always kept me informed of the Covid rule changes for visiting. An extremely well run home.

My mother became a resident of Parton House in August 2021. This was after having visited a number of care homes, in order to establish which could best provide the care and attention that she needed. The facilities at Parton House are of a high standard and include a social lounge, dining room and cinema room. The bedrooms I have seen are airy and well furnished and my mother's room looks out over the well-maintained back gardens. My mother has enjoyed having her hair and nails done when the hairdresser/manicurist has visited the home. All the staff that I have met are professional, friendly and caring. During a recent illness, the staff have ensured that my mother has been well cared for, arranging visits by the local GP when required and keeping me informed of any developments. I wanted somewhere where my mother would feel safe and be cared for 24/7 and Parton House has lived up to my hopes and expectations. Thank you.

Parton House is a very well run care home. My mum has been looked after so very well. The managers and carers are so helpful and extremely welcoming. We as a family feel comfort in knowing Mum is being so well cared for. We highly recommend Parton House. The activities are well run, food is excellent. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

My mother-in-law resisted 'going into a home' for years. A weeks respite at Parton House has turned into a permanent stay. It is far more like a family-run hotel with extremely wonderful care, and she loves it there now. The staff are kind and gentle and jolly too. The house is run efficiently, is incredibly clean and thoroughly welcoming. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff are very good and caring not just to my mum but all the residents. Mum is always clean and well presented. She is well and happy and that is all that matters to me.

Was most impressed with the Manager and Assistant Manager. I was helped when I first came in an exceptional way with the use of only one hand and unsteady on my feet. The staff, without exception, are a smiling, cheerful and happy crew. My only complaint would be the food, made worse as it was to be pureed.

A real and genuine home from home for residents with high standards of care and cleanliness. The staff are so kind and patient that given the most reluctant of residents can be won over! My mother was adamant that she didn't want to go and is now adamant that she doesn't want to leave. Well done to an excellent manager and her fantastic team of staff.

Mum has improved since moving into Parton House. She is looked after, giving me peace of mind. She has a lovely room. Staff are caring and friendly. We can visit at any time, always made to feel welcome. This has to be one of the better care homes in the area.

Everybody is perfect, helping one another and very happy being here.

The food and staff are excellent. I can't fault the home in any way. I can also have a beer or a glass of wine.

I live in Parton House. All the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is great!

My Aunt was resident in Parton House from June 2018 until she recently passed away. She was very happy there and very well looked after. The love and care she received right up until the end was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team. We can't thank them enough.

I cannot praise high enough the care and consideration shown to my Father by the staff on Parton House.

A very warm welcome from the start of our visit for what is a very sensitive moment for my family. Staff were very friendly, professional and above all else very caring.

Bearing in mind the problem my wife presented (mobility), the staff have been wonderful (brownie points all around) in coping. Food was really good (tried it myself). The only problem was the night staff, or one or two of them could be a little more caring and understanding. Overall it is a well done to all the staff. Such a great shame she has to move on.

Mum's care home in Ross-on-Wye was forced to close. We looked at other care homes and Parton house was by far the best. The lounge was light and clean, the dining room, the same. Mum's room on the ground floor was small but perfect for her needs.

Due to Mum's dementia, she wasn't able to fully partake in activities but she was happy there. Special thanks to the home's management and staff, especially following Mum's passing. She'd only been at the home for 11 months but was settled and well cared for.

My friend is in Parton House and the home is just delightful, nothing is ever too much and there is always lots going on. I did visit over Christmas and noticed they had Donkeys coming! How brilliant. My friend is always happy with the home and it makes me happy knowing he is in a place he enjoys.
