I am so relieved to find a lovely care home for my father.
Manager is the beating heart of the home. She runs a tight ship whilst maintaining a lively , homely atmosphere.
The senior carers always keep us updated of any changes and give his medications in a timely manner. Help from GP and district
nurses is sought promptly as problems arise.
Personal care is of a high standard with all residents clean and well dressed every day.
We also get regular visits from hairdresser and chiropodist.
The food is cooked beautifully with lots of choice that older people like.
Most of all it's a friendly home that has made us feel part of the family. We've got to know everyone well and are always greeted with a smile.
Watching loved ones deteriorate is distressing but at Beechwood it's done with dignity, grace and a good laugh along the way. It's very reassuring to know he's safe and well cared for.

CARE was provided in JUNE 2023 and continued until PASSING AWAY 9th Nov 2024. Family were delighted to have found a place for mum. ALL staff were CARING and efficent. A WARM and friendly welcome from DAY ONE. Excellent all round.

Mum was extremely happy with the home and always sad she felt safe and secure. The team provided excellent care to mum and support to dad and the family. There communication was always good and timely, notifying us of mums condition and photos and monthly reports forthcoming. The staff treated mum as

I would definitely recommend Beechwood House. My father is very happy there and he says that he is very content and that they look after him very well. I am always informed of any concerns they may have about him and they send me pictures of the activities he takes part in. The staff are always so helpful
and friendly.
His room is bright and airy and very well-decorated and the rest of the home is too. It is such a relief to know that he is in a safe place, being well looked after.

Beechwood House is an excellent care home.
It has provided a consistent, caring environment for my mum and dad since they moved in.
The carers are outstanding in their approach to those in their care, to relatives and to visitors alike.
I have only ever seen positive attitudes from the staff. They
present as a cheerful, friendly and above all, caring group of people.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and on many occasions, they have gone well beyond what is normally expected of them.
Mum and Dad have been very happy at Beechwood. Thank you.

After a period in hospital, it became apparent in November 2024 that my mum's current care needs at home were not sufficient and I needed to look for her to move to a residential home. After looking at several homes in the area, Beechwood House stood out from the rest. From the warm welcoming entrance,
two airy lounges and sunny inviting conservatories. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
Mum had a choice of two newly decorated rooms. A weekly programme of activities is available. My family were able to have Christmas dinner with her, with the staff setting up our own table in the conservatory.
My mum's own mother was at Beechwood some thirty years ago and I remember then it being wonderful and it still is today. I have peace of mind Mum is being well looked after.

Beechwood House is an excellent care home, with a welcoming and happy atmosphere. The management team is very caring and good communicators and they clearly guide their team of carers in providing a high standard of care. They certainly fulfil their ethos of treating the residents as if they are family,
whilst also being professional, respectful and diligent. The manager and deputy manager are very approachable and always take time to chat with visiting family and friends. They keep me updated with my mum's care plan and inform me promptly if there are any changes. The range of activities provided is amazing - from visiting singers to trips out, alongside a good variety of daily activities in the home. We are very relieved to have found Beechwood when searching for a care home for my mum, who has now been a resident there for seventeen months.

Such an amazing place, my elderly uncle enjoyed his day care for the last six/seven months or more. The staff are so lovely and really helpful, five stars all round. Good range of activities, plus they encourage family members to get involved.

Beechwood House is a wonderful care home. At the heart of this is the staff - they are caring and friendly and have looked after my dad really well. This care home went above and beyond for my mother who had dementia.
My mother did not initially want to go to a care home but visited a few days and didn’t want to leave. She made friends, felt safe and secure. The staff were always there for her needs. Mum was well cared for and they made the last
few months of her life very happy ones despite her dementia.
The home has a wonderful team of staff, it is clean, tidy and homely.
Highly recommend this home.

On the occasions that I have visited the home, I am always made to feel welcome. The staff are always polite and it's always a bubbly atmosphere. Music is always playing and I enjoy talking to other residents who are sat on the couch in the entrance area. The home is beautifully decorated and I feel
like I am walking into a house rather than a care home. The atmosphere is so relaxed and it's fantastic that we have the use of the coffee machine. The staff also offer drinks. I also like how I am invited to join in with any activities that are taking place at the time of my visit.

Absolutely wonderful home, very friendly staff who support my mum and myself very well. The staff are always smiling and greeting you to join them in such a lovely, friendly home with a pleasant atmosphere.
I have every confidence in leaving my mum at Beechwood House for her day care, she is always
relaxed and happy to stay, making new friends and a place to chat to others.
Mum always says that the food is so lovely and very plentiful and a good cup of tea always goes down well.
Overall experience, excellent.
Mum has been attending Beechwood House for approximately six months now for day care, allowing me to have a day to myself, relaxing with peace of mind that Mum is safe and cared for by super, hard-working and caring professionals.

My mother-in-law has been in Beechwood House Care Home now for a few years. The management and staff all made her very welcome and helped to settle her in.
The home is immaculate and has a lovely garden and conservatory.
All the staff are very helpful and encouraging my mother-in-law to join in the
activities. She really enjoys going on their trips out. We have regular updates on how she is getting on.
It's peace of mind as a family to know she is in a home where we know she is safe and looked after.

Mum came into Beechwood following a nasty fall in order to recover. From the first day she was met with great care empathy professionalism and great communication.
Nothing was too much trouble and the family were welcomed every day and kept in the loop with all communication.

Absolutely 1st class all around. The home is immaculate and the beautiful garden at the back is a favourite place for my mum to be.
Every staff member that I have met is always happy to help with anything asked and when I ring to speak to them or Mum, they spend time talking to me or passing the phone
to her.
Couldn't wish for a better place for Mum to be other than at home and we, as a family, are so pleased to have found Beechwood.

I have found the staff very considerate and helpful in carrying out the needs of Mum. They come and check her on a regular basis and sit and talk to her. The food is of a very high quality and Mum seems to enjoy the events that are put on. Medication is given in a timely manner. Mum has told me she
is very happy being here and loves being in an environment where she can interact with other residents and staff.

The care is excellent and the staff are lovely. My husband is looked after very well and he thinks the food is lovely. The staff are very good at encouraging him to take part in the activities. I cannot comment on value for money or the range of activities.
