Mum was extremely happy with the home and always sad she felt safe and secure. The team provided excellent care to mum and support to dad and the family. There communication was always good and timely, notifying us of mums condition and photos and monthly reports forthcoming. The staff treated mum as a friend and would go the extra-mile to ensure her comfort and happiness. We can't thank them enough for their ongoing love and support. The carers are outstanding in their approach to those in their care, to relatives and to visitors alike.
I have only ever seen positive attitudes from the staff. They present as a cheerful, friendly and above all, caring group of people.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and on many occasions, they have gone well beyond what is normally expected of them.

Beechwood House is an excellent care home, with a welcoming and happy atmosphere. The management team is very caring and good communicators and they clearly guide their team of carers in providing a high standard of care. They certainly fulfil their ethos of treating the residents as if they are family, whilst also being professional, respectful and diligent. The manager and deputy manager are very approachable and always take time to chat with visiting family and friends. They keep me updated with my mum's care plan and inform me promptly if there are any changes. The range of activities provided is amazing - from visiting singers to trips out, alongside a good variety of daily activities in the home. We are very relieved to have found Beechwood when searching for a care home for my mum, who has now been a resident there for seventeen months.

Beechwood House is a wonderful care home. At the heart of this is the staff - they are caring and friendly and have looked after my dad really well. My mother did not initially want to go to a care home but visited a few days and didn’t want to leave. She made friends, felt safe and secure. The staff were always there for her needs. Mum was well cared for and they made the last few months of her life very happy ones despite her dementia.
The home has a wonderful team of staff, it is clean, tidy and homely.
Highly recommend this home.

On the occasions that I have visited the home, I am always made to feel welcome. The staff are always polite and it's always a bubbly atmosphere. Music is always playing and I enjoy talking to other residents who are sat on the couch in the entrance area. The home is beautifully decorated and I feel like I am walking into a house rather than a care home. The atmosphere is so relaxed and it's fantastic that we have the use of the coffee machine. The staff also offer drinks. I also like how I am invited to join in with any activities that are taking place at the time of my visit.
Dear Charlotte, thank you so much for your wonderful review of Beechwood. Delighted to hear about your positive experiences when visiting our home.
