Excellent care provided, with good humour and caring staff. My father has improved in health and is much more relaxed. He especially enjoys the trips out.

Such a lovely place. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable home. I'm very glad my mum is here. I know she is safe and looked after and more importantly is happy.

My father was reluctant to move to a care home but seems to have settled well here, with staff who have been very considerate towards his individual needs and requests. I feel the rooms and toilet area are a bit small but always clean. Also, I wonder if the residents would appreciate more music in the activities. The gardens are beautifully maintained. The whole place is kept clean, fresh and tidy and the staff are friendly and helpful. This must be one of the best, if not the best, care homes in the area.

Thank you very much for your review of Beechwood House, it is lovely to hear your thoughts. As you know, we have a variety of musical entertainers visit on a regular basis, and they are well loved. At our most recent residents' meeting, it was felt the number of musical afternoon visits was about...

Dad moved into Beechwood in February 2017. Initially the transition into care was hard for him but he is now settled, feels secure and well looked after, thanks to the manager and staff who are all very friendly and provide a high standard of care. His privacy is respected and he is treated with dignity.

It is a lovely home, the rooms are all on one level and the gardens are wonderful. Dad enjoys walking in them every day. Dad is relaxed, reassured and in good health.

My mother recently died having spent the last 8 years of her life at Beechwood. During this time the Manager and her team consistently cared for my mother in a kind, caring and positive manner. Initially, my mother was not keen to go into care, but within 6 weeks of moving in, she announced to me one day that she was so happy I had found her such a lovely place to live in! And she remained happy and content there for the following 8 years.

Additionally, the rooms are very pleasant and the food is good. One of the things in particular that my mother loved was the gardens.

My Dad has been a resident of Beechwood since December 2015 and has received excellent care throughout. The staff are friendly and caring and treat him with respect at all times.

My dad is completely happy at Beechwood and his general health is much improved since he has been there. The staff always notice if he is not so well and are very quick to respond if he needs to see a doctor. The manager is always available and helpful, knows all the family and makes us feel very comfortable when visiting my Dad.

My mother has been in Beechwood House for 4 years and throughout all that time has received the highest quality of care. I have observed the carer to treat my mother with respect and patience at all times. The manager has been outstanding and there is good communication between us. My mother always says she is very happy there and always looks relaxed and happy.

The care my father is given is superb. The staff are so helpful and the home is spotless lots of entertainment. I would recommend this home to any one after a hospital stay. It was described that it would be un-wise to send him home. We were only able to find Beechwood, someone must have smiled on us a wonderful place.

We visited several homes before choosing Beechwood House, I liked the fact that it is light and airy with lovely accessible gardens and that you could smell home baking. My mother has settled well at Beechwood House and finds the staff very friendly. They do not seem to be so busy that they cannot stop to chat with her. She loves the afternoon games and craft activities and also the monthly church service.
