I have received exceptional care for all the team at Wren House.
Thank you for your kind words, I will pass on to the team.
Thanks to its professional and dedicated team of staff, Wren House delivers an exemplary level of care but in a friendly, informal and homely atmosphere. It's a pleasure to visit and it is a great reassurance and comfort to know my father is being so well looked after.
Thank you I will pass on your kind words. We aim to be professional and friendly.
As always service with a smile and unlimited care. I am here full-time and feel I have a second family. A few more staff would help everyone but this is a sign of the times.Cannot thank you all enough.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this on to the team.
The pet labrador retriever settled well and was welcomed. Personal care was good, felt safe and secure.
Visitors and relatives are welcome. If help was needed (on rare occasions) always arrived promptly and resolved satisfactorily.
Thank you for your kind words I will pass this on to the team.
My aunt aged 104 has received the most amazing care at Wren House. She was so happy there treated with dignity and yet able to retain her independence. All the staff were quite exceptional and the food delicious. She always looked smart and comfortable. My aunt loved poetry and Scrabble! Girls from a local school joined the residents on a Wednesday games afternoon. They loved talking to a 104 year old. She even won the game! Sadly she has now passed but Wren House was with her supporting her passing and the family too. Just cannot ever thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I will pass this onto the team.
The food and care are 5-star, can't wait to check in!
Wren House has proved to be a 1st class care home, offering a caring homely haven that is personal to the individual's needs at a difficult time of life for my mother. The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly. All of the staff are kind, welcoming, caring, approachable and attentive to my mother's needs and also to those visiting. The proactive approach from the manager, deputy and carers is evident. Any concerns identified are dealt with swiftly for often have already been noted and actioned. The accommodation is comfortable, attractive and homely and residents are invited to make the space their own. The gardens are lovely, well kept and offer an important peaceful space for the residents to enjoy. My mother is happy here- thank you to all.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I will pass them on to the staff.
Fabulous since moving from another home. The food is amazing and all the staff care.
Thank you for your kind words. I will pass this onto the team.
My mother was admitted to Wren House with very little notice after three weeks in the hospital for a month's recuperation, to be near me and to enable her to regain strength etc to return home. Wren House certainly provided everything we wished for. A lovely room with doors leading to the garden (though I felt the garden was slightly neglected). Staff are extremely helpful, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. My mother felt the menu was a little unvaried with not very many choices and sometimes rather heavy/hot meals in a heatwave! She would have liked homemade soup sometimes!
Thank you for your comments. Our garden is well maintained and the grass is always neat and tidy. Our head chef strives to have a varied menu and choices are always given and request are taken. We are sorry your mother felt that way about the garden and the menu. We will endeavor to look into these comments.
Excellent, resident still in bed. We were given tea and biscuits whilst waiting. We were taken to her room as soon as she got up. We were not disturbed at all. The staff made sure that we all had a chair and the resident was comfortable with us all there.
regards
My great aunty at 104 is fantastic, her health is amazing. She has flourished at Wren House and is clearly being looked after fantastically well. She is so happy and content. She loves it here and wishes she had moved a long time before she did.
Thank you for your kind feedback which we will share with the team, best wishes
What a place. Absolutely brilliant. Couldn't have found anywhere better, and the staff were just superb.
I feel happy and at home.
Fantastic visit as always, staff go above and beyond to help our visit as we travel a distance. Our family member is happy, healthy and thriving and loves it here. Many thanks to all the staff for the love and care they provide to both residents and families.
Wren House is a small care home with excellent staff who provide a high standard of care for the residents. The food is tasty and the "home-cooked" approach is a big hit with my mum who has always been very keen on good quality tasty food that looks appetising. The chefs even remember her particular favourites! Restricted visiting during lockdown was a big challenge and I don't know how Mum and I would have coped without the contact provided via our video link using the home's Wi-fi system. Entertainment is still a challenge but is now building up again to its pre-Covid level. The way the staff dealt with the effect the Queen's death had on each of the residents is probably also a good example of the thoughtful and individual approach that sets Wren House apart and it's comforting to know Mum is being well looked after by such caring people.
Thank you for your kind comments. I will let the staff know.
The care I receive is first-class. I am treated with care and compassion at all times. The food is excellent, and the staff, many of who have been here a long time, are lovely.
Thank you for your feedback, which we will share with the team. Kind regards.
My neighbour's elderly aunt has recently moved into Wren House where I occasionally visit her. She reluctantly had to accept that she needed day-to-day assistance having resisted it for many years. The change in her is remarkable, she is beautifully cared for and is surrounded by all her favourite things and retains as much independence as is possible. As a visitor, great care is taken to ensure that safe entry routines are strictly followed by kind and friendly staff. Tea and cake are brought very soon after. This is where I want to be when the time comes!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will pass this on to the team.
Wren House is a 5-star care home - employing wonderful carers who give their all to make sure their clients are given professional and dignified care at all times. We as a family can't thank them enough for all they do.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. It is our honour to provide the best care. The team will really appreciate this feedback.
My mother is very comfortable and well looked after here. My sisters and I could not hope for anywhere better. The staff are outstandingly good and helpful and the food is delicious.
Thank you so very much for your kind words. I will pass it on to the team.
Excellent care from arrival (03.01.19). Increased care since a stroke, Christmas 2020, leaving me incontinent and with difficulty moving.
Thank you. It is a pleasure to care for you and to listen to your memories.

Meet the Team (1)

I am a mother of two and have two grandchildren, stepmother of two and four step-grandchildren. My family life is very busy, but I have great support from my husband. My interests are rugby, as my son plays the sport and course fishing to relax. I have been in the care sector for 15 years, ranging from the acute setting of a hospital after being at university to gain my diploma in adult nursing to a senior carer at Wren House. I have been promoted at Wren House to the home manager, which is a position that I enjoy as I am a very driven person and confident in all aspects of running the Home and my lovely residents.
