Kingsmead is a purpose built care home, providing care for the frail elderly and mentally infirm elderly. The home is situated in a quiet residential area of Swindon and is easy reach of public transport, shops and amenities. There is also easy access to M4 motorway.

Accommodation is mainly single occupancy , although several are large enough for sharing companions. The majority are en-suite and they all have telephone and television points.

Kingsmead has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times. A wide range of traditional home cooked food is served using fresh produce. Daily choices are available and special diets can be catered for.

The home is visited on a regular basis by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist. A range of complementary therapies can also be arranged.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home.
