Overall, I find the home very pleasant. The staff are all very polite and good to the service users. I like that the service users have always got or get drinks, perhaps encouragement to drink would help. The curtains/bed linen could do with updating and perhaps a shelf in the room for personal possessions.
I did mention to the manager that I thought the carpets could do with being replaced with vinyl flooring as it is more hygienic, he assured me that they have started to update the upstairs and will include getting rid of carpets. Bigger TV would be a good idea in the lounge. I always get offered a hot drink.

I find the staff to be very helpful and friendly, the management really seems to care for the residents. I could not ask for a better care home for my grandad.

Excellent, great home to come to. Management is very good, 10/10. The food is superb, really good, great cooks. The staff are very good to all the people. You would be hard-pressed to find one better. Great home to come to.

When visiting my brother-in-law, I always find the staff to be very friendly, helpful and efficient. Activities for all residents are very stimulating, especially the singer. I always know that when I leave, my brother-in-law is in safe hands.

My mum has been here for a couple of weeks. The staff and the manager have been wonderful with her. Helping her with her needs, encouraging her to be more mobile and to eat. Mum is settling well with all the lovely carers helping her.

I can't praise the staff enough. They are always there looking after my dad's needs. They are very conscious of Covid and everyone's well-being. They keep us up to date with Dad's well-being. They have also been fantastic in the way they dealt with the passing of my mum over the last few days. Once

Very pleased with Mom's care. The staff are always happy and look after Mom extremely well, and she is very happy as well and says that she couldn't be looked after any better.

I find the staff very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities for the residents to do if they choose to. My mum loves the food and all the staff help her with all her needs. Great to get back to some sort of normality with trips having started again.

Mum came into this home during the first lockdown, so unfortunately I was unable to view it. that said I've always found the staff helpful and courteous through my phone calls and emails.
Since being able to go into the home I have found a warm and welcoming environment and staff who take the time
to listen to ensure Mum is cared for in the way I would like and expect. Any concerns I have are dealt with promptly and professionally. Mum is very happy here.

As a daughter, my experience here at The Knowles has been exceptional. I can't fault anything. The staff are so understanding of the needs of my parents. I know when I leave after a visit my parents are content, happy and safe which makes me happy. Also, the activities (music etc) have made such a difference
to them both.

My mother has been at The Knowles for some 10 months now. I am wholly confident that her needs are met all the time. She often tells me so too. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always answer fully any questions I may have. Mum is very happy there and as a family, that gives us a great deal of
peace of mind. Nothing is too much trouble.

Would like to thank the Deputy Manager for the fantastic set-up she did for my parents on their anniversary. My dad was so happy and surprised. Mom has been at The Knowles less than a year, so it has been hard for him to adjust. It is expected she has the care and treated with dignity with dementia
as she lived when without dementia. Mom is settled although there were a few hiccups with other matters but this is slowly getting better. The Knowle would be lost without the Deputy Manager as you can always count on her.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the deputy manager and all the staff that put so much effort into Mother’s Day. The home was decorated beautifully - the tables in the dining rooms were decorated with balloons, flowers and beautiful table clothes - it was a credit to the deputy manager and
all the staff. The residents all seemed very happy, chatting and listening to relaxing music. This is our Mum's first Mother’s Day at the Knowles and the deputy manager and her team made it so, so lovely for my sister and I to join Mum for lunch - the food was excellent. Thank you to everyone involved.

I just wanted to acknowledge the time, effort and thought the Knowles staff put in to creating such a very special Mother’s Day for all of the residents. It was clear to see they had all worked really hard to make the day very special for all - the dining tables looked absolutely beautiful - with so
much attention to detail and the atmosphere with everyone sitting down to lunch was vibrant, with lots of happy chatter and lovely background music. Mother’s Day is always very tough but the day was so special for so many - cannot thank you all enough.

Both of my parents became residents of The Knowles approximately 2 1/2 years ago and very quickly adjusted to residential living. They were very content with this change in their living conditions and adapted quickly. I have never heard my mother say anything negative about her day-to-day living and
she is in a much happier and contented frame of mind than I have witnessed in a long time. From what I have observed I would certainly recommend The Knowles.
