11 Moseley Avenue, Coundon, Coventry CV6 1AE
Amber House is a small dementia care home which provides a professional and yet intimate service to 15 people.
The home is owned and managed by a psychiatric nurse and mental health social worker who have a long standing history of providing high quality services to people who have dementia.
The home operates on a person centred model of care where each person is treated as an individual and their care plans are responsive to their personal needs and abilities.
An active programme of activities provides stimulation and activity whilst the home cooked nutritious catering is flexible and again responsive to individuals' preferences.
The staff supporting residents are all qualified to NVQ level 2 and 3 and the low staf turnover ensures residents are cared for by people who they are familiar with and who are fully aware of their needs.
