This friendly, purpose-built home offers residents two sitting rooms and two dining areas, all tastefully decorated and furnished with specially designed seats focused on comfort. The attractive, enclosed garden, looked after by some residents, provides the perfect spot to catch up with friends and family. A popular hairdressing salon is available for Residents’ convenience and enjoyment.
Victoria Park boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas that provide the perfect space to share meals with fellow residents, or family and friends. On those sunny summer days, the outdoor spaces are the ideal spot for some alfresco dining. The onsite catering team prides itself on ensuring each meal is an enjoyable, heartwarming experience for every resident and visitor to the home.
The professional care team at Victoria Park takes the time to learn about each resident’s individual hobbies and interests, helping those living in the home lead an active and fulfilling life. Mum spent two years in two other care homes and her health and wellbeing dropped considerably. Since being at victoria Park having lots of issues. From day one the staff were brilliant and after four weeks social worker couldn't believe the difference. The staff notice every little thing and act on it. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is like visiting friends and family. For the first time in years, I feel happy and content to leave my Mum. I don't know where Mum and I would be if it wasn't for the staff at Victoria Park!

Coming here for respite care for 2 broken arms. I have nothing but praise for the excellent care and kindness I have received here. Unable to feed of care for myself I was treated with every kindness and made very quick progress in my healing. ALl my medication was managed with accuracy and professionalism. My hospital appointments were arranged carefully and the encouragement of staff helped me gain in confidence. I thank them all profoundly.

My mother spent only a short 3 months at Victoria Park which she called home but I would have to have gone a long way to find a more professional and caring staff. From day one I was overwhelmed with attention given and the tender attitude continued to visitors as well.

Staff are happy and kind, plus they act like they actually want to be at work. My aunt (at 94) has a major problem with "germs" and the staff work around this as it can be very difficult. I am always offered a cup of tea when I visit and never have to wait long at the front door before a member of staff answers and lets me in. There has been a problem twice when my aunt has been in the hoist and has had to wait while somebody can be found to work it properly. This has been upsetting for my aunt as she is 94 and has a thyroid problem so feels the cold.

At busy times we will encourage your aunt to wait in the comfort and warmth of her room until staff are available to assist her with a shower and therefore avoid any unnecessary waits.

Dad is very well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. He is always clean and tidy and is very happy. His room is comfortable and clean and he is very safe. The staff and Management are approachable and helpful and I am delighted with Victoria Park.

My late father was cared for here for the last 11 months of his life. He was very well cared for and the staff who cared for him were very kind and took time with him.
He had a lovely room which was kept spotless by the cleaner. The home always looked clean and tidy and it smelt lovely. My father enjoyed the food that was cooked there and he seemed very happy to be there, considering how difficult the choice had been for us as a family to let him go there.

On his 90th birthday, he had a cake baked for him and the staff were lovely to him.
Dad passed away in October, however, we have been back to the home on a number of occasions, as it brings comfort to my mother and we are always made very welcome and told to come and visit whenever we feel the need.
We as a family would like to thank all the staff for their kindness.

My mother stayed at Victoria Park for approximately five months for respite care after a fall. The staff were always caring, attentive and treated Mum with dignity and encouraged her to take part in activities.
The home was always clean, the meals were freshly cooked and plentiful. Management were always happy to discuss any concerns. Visitors were always welcomed and invited to participate in seasonal activities such as a Halloween party.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Katie has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.
Having worked at Victoria Park for many years, Katie closely follows the home's vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident.
