Coming here for respite care for 2 broken arms. I have nothing but praise for the excellent care and kindness I have received here. Unable to feed of care for myself I was treated with every kindness and made very quick progress in my healing. ALl my medication was managed with accuracy and professionalism. My hospital appointments were arranged carefully and the encouragement of staff helped me gain in confidence. I thank them all profoundly.
Always clean and tidy, always welcoming. I will miss the visits. I fully endorsed Victoria Park and would recommend Victoria Park to anyone. Many many thanks.
Happy to be here, love shopping, would like to be out every day. I am happy with the care I receive, love the food, favourite is the porridge.
I am happy here, the staff are very good.
Staff are happy and kind, plus they act like they actually want to be at work. My aunt (at 94) has a major problem with "germs" and the staff work around this as it can be very difficult. I am always offered a cup of tea when I visit and never have to wait long at the front door before a member of staff answers and lets me in. There has been a problem twice when my aunt has been in the hoist and has had to wait while somebody can be found to work it properly. This has been upsetting for my aunt as she is 94 and has a thyroid problem so feels the cold.
Thank you for your kind comments regarding the staff at the home, which I will share with the team. We have taken on board your comments regarding your aunt’s time spent in the hoist. At busy times we will encourage your aunt to wait in the comfort and warmth of her room until staff are available to assist her with a shower and therefore avoid any unnecessary waits.
Carers are on hand to help with toileting, feeding and just making conversation to make you feel comfortable.
Staff are exemplary.
I have loved my time here. I like the staff and when I want something they will get it straight away.
Dad is very well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. He is always clean and tidy and is very happy. His room is comfortable and clean and he is very safe. The staff and Management are approachable and helpful and I am delighted with Victoria Park.
I am happy at Victoria Park. The staff are good and caring, I enjoyed the food and the caring staff.
They got him moving and then, walking. The staff really care about the patients.
his problems with incontinence have also been greatly improved by the staff taking the time and effort to coach him, retrain him and to take him to the toilet as necessary.
We have nothing but true admiration for the staff. They have done an amazing job with our dad.
I have found the staff to be extremely helpful. Anything I have asked about or requested for my mother has been provided quickly and efficiently.
He had a lovely room which was kept spotless by the cleaner. The home always looked clean and tidy and it smelt lovely. My father enjoyed the food that was cooked there and he seemed very happy to be there, considering how difficult the choice had been for us as a family to let him go there.
On his 90th birthday, he had a cake baked for him and the staff were lovely to him.
Dad passed away in October, however, we have been back to the home on a number of occasions, as it brings comfort to my mother and we are always made very welcome and told to come and visit whenever we feel the need.
We as a family would like to thank all the staff for their kindness.
I am happy here thanks to all the staff who are kind, caring and efficient.
The home was always clean, the meals were freshly cooked and plentiful. Management were always happy to discuss any concerns. Visitors were always welcomed and invited to participate in seasonal activities such as a Halloween party.
Overall a very good home.
Lovely staff, clean and activities are great.
Very good. All staff very caring and helpful. Always willing to help.
Clean, friendly. My grandad thrived during his time here.
Victoria Park is very clean with a friendly atmosphere and staff. The food is excellent too.
My mother has been a resident for almost a year and in that time she has been cared for at a very high standard. She celebrated her 100th birthday four weeks ago and the incredible effort of the carers gave her and her family a day to remember. I cannot praise them enough. They make mum feel cared for and safe, very essential when you are 100.
