As a volunteer, I go into Victoria Mews every month to hold a church service, that is simple for them to understand, with hymns they remember.

The home has a friendly atmosphere and the staff meet the complex challenges of the service users, in a caring and friendly way.

I used to be a care worker for 24 years and I think this care home is very clean and extremely friendly with loving and caring staff and management. I know my mother is looked after very well which makes me feel at ease and relaxed. My mother is a lot happier being here than what she was at home so highly recommend this care home.

My mother was placed in your care while arrangements are being made for care in her own home. I have visited every day and mother has been in fine fettle at all times due to the kind and considerate care by all staff members who have cared for her.

Where to begin, this home was an excellent decision when choosing a home for my Nan. There are so many places out that and trust me, I certainly looked very hard to find the perfect one. Unfortunately, there is no place like home but when the situation requires immediate action this home was the best choice in my eyes.
I use the past tense as unfortunately my Nan passed away in the home and I could not have asked more from the staff who made sure she was comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

Choosing a care home is so difficult but take a look around this one, once you have been in a few it's easier to choose. The place was always very clean including her room. Although the place can be very busy at times (as I spent a lot of my time in there with my Nan) if you need anything, the staff are always very close and attentive. Take it from me, it's a very good choice.

My mother has been at Victoria Mews Care Home since January 2016. She has mixed dementia and other health issues. After an initial settling in period, she has been very happy at Victoria Mews Care Home. She has a nice room and is able to have her own furniture, photos etc. The staff are all very caring and loving to my mum. They are efficient and always able to show empathy to her and other residents. The home is clean and tidy. Cleaning staff also have a good relationship with all residents. There is always things going on in Victoria Mews Care Home to entertain residents.

All staff go above and beyond their duty. All are welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother went for a weeks respite last year and after unfortunately breaking her hip in fall, which required her to have full time care, Victoria Mews was our first choice of care home!
