A relaxed and friendly home, Ryland View offers numerous forms of care provision, including nursing care, nursing dementia care and respite care. Other care includes expertise in young physically disabled care, as well as Huntingdon’s and Parkinson’s.

The home has been designed to suit the lifestyles of both older and younger residents, consisting of five separate houses, homely furnishings, bright and airy conservatories, a reminiscence room and landscaped gardens.

Individual tastes are accounted for at mealtimes through balanced and nutritious dishes, with hot and cold choices always available.

Many group activities are arranged to support physical and emotional health, while residents have personal interests and hobbies supported. Pub lunches and nature trail walks are popular additions, as are visiting entertainers.

My mom has been in Ryland View Heronville Unit since 1st February 2022 for an assessment. I have no worries about the care she has received and even though mom was only temporary the staff and unit manager and nurse took good care of her and did go the extra mile to make sure she was safe as she has
an attendance to fall. If this home was closer to family and friends mom would be staying with them.

My brother recently stayed for respite at Ryland View Care Home and the staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. My brother was really worried but loved it and didn't want to leave when it was time to come back home. The staff called to give us reassurance and nothing was too much trouble. The food
was very nice and everyone was so kind. He is looking forward to going back.

My dad has been a resident at Heronville House for some time now and I have seen the changes within the management and I have to say I'm so happy with the changes. The staff are always welcoming and polite and the House Manager always takes the time to talk through any concerns I have whether I am visiting
or over the phone. I was considering moving my dad as I wasn't happy with the overall service, however, since the Home Manager took over she brought in new staff and changes I am so impressed with everyone especially how they look after my dad on Heronville. It's great to see happy staff and my dad is so well looked after I would never move him now. Thank you everyone for all your help, my dad and my family appreciate the efforts you're taking. Keep up the great work!

Our mom has been a resident in Heronville House Unit for almost two years. She is treated with the most care and kindness by all the staff. We are kept informed of her health and wellbeing at all times. Mom is happy and content and we are always greeted with a smile and a warm hello when we visit. Heronville

I feel comfortable around staff, staff are very friendly and we can speak to them at any time. My mom gets on well with the activities staff. I think the staff here treat my mom as their own family.

My mother was admitted to hospital last year and after being in for a few months. It was deemed unsafe for Mom to return home due to her health deterioration/dementia as she lived on her own. The decision was made for Mum to go into permanent care. Ryland View was very supportive, open and honest regarding
the process and what to expect. Care at Ryland View was always excellent with friendly, attentive and capable staff.
Such a caring place would recommend to anyone; we were always contacted if there were any problems/kept informed of any changes to Mum. Their love and care for their residents are amazing.

We cannot praise enough the management, carers, nurses and housekeepers for the outstanding love, care, dignity, compassion, understanding and respect they showed my mother in law and myself and my husband while she was resident at Ryland View. Every time we went to the home we were always greeted with
a smile, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Ryland View was always really fresh, clean and felt very homely. Everyone was so attentive to us as well as her on the end of life roller coaster. Very well done everyone and thank you so much. We couldn't have wished for a better place for her to have her last days.

My mother has been cared for here many years now, and the staff have done a great job looking after my mom. We decided to keep her there as to end of life, only funding was a problem. However, this is not the care homes fault. In fact, they appealed for us, but I would recommend for anyone wishing to

Our mam is a resident in Heronville House at Ryland View care home. She gets fantastic care and support from all the staff. They keep us up to date with her health and well being and keep her busy and happy with plenty of activities to do. There is always a lovely welcome from the staff when we visit.

When she arrived at Manby House at Ryland View, mam was at a very low ebb following prolonged hospital stays after two painful falls in a short period of time. The care she received was instrumental in enabling us to see "our mam" come back again. Her medical, social and psychological needs were skillfully
and cheerfully met by the manager and the amazing staff. Mam was cared for, befriended and encouraged to be as independent as she was able to be. Manby House - a hard act to follow. Thank you all!

Experience of Ryland View was brilliant, unit manager was working all hours above and beyond her duties. Always tea/coffee and biscuits for visitors. Very well decorated, room very nice, carers excellent. My mom had Parkinson's and manager made sure she was given medication on time, which is a must
with Parkinson's patients, better than they gave her in hospital. A very clean and tidy home. My mom went on to go to another Unit - what a difference. Sadly mom died in March 2020.

Every time I go to see the care home, nothing seems to much trouble for the staff. Alway's greeted with a smile and hello; then they always tell me about Mom's well being. Alway's clean and plenty of activities going on.

I found Ryland View to be better than I could ever hope for. It was a pleasant experience from when my husband was first admitted.
The staff were very caring and considerate on every aspect of how my husband was treated. Excellent management nurses and carers. All I can say is well done, well done,

Whilst in care, mom received excellent treatment. The Manby Centre was very well run and manned by very attentive and caring staff. Mom was made to feel cared for and valued by the staff. Personal care was extremely good. The centre was always clean and tidy and mom's room was also clean and tidy. The
food was of a good standard, good and varied choices. All in all, mom enjoyed a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this home to anybody.

I can only comment on Manby Unit. Father received kind, caring and thorough treatment from carers and nurses. Dad settled very quickly due to the kindness of wonderful staff and the experienced manager. We are grateful.

The love and care of the staff towards the residents is of the highest quality and standards. The staff relationships with residents are just the best. Management and staff are attentive to the needs of the family too, supporting the relatives in the roller coaster of end of life pathway.


My dad

was in Ryland View 20 years ago and it is still as good today.
