My mother moved in on a temporary basis to recuperate after being very poorly. I have to thank the management and support for your time and care. This had been a very challenging time, and everyone had done their best to listen and care for Mum's recuperation period.

I cannot thank you all enough, everyone has been exceptional.

Our family would like to say thank you to the team at Coton House Care Home. We recently lost our beloved mom who has lived here for the last four years. She was shown care, compassion, dignity and given quality of life with dementia. The professional manner at Coton House is exemplary. Looking back now, we can honestly say that Mom received a high level of personal care and safety. The lovely team were both informative and approachable and for this we are grateful.

I have been at Coton House Care Home for over three years, Coton is my home. Staff encourage my independence. The care is wonderful, staff are very helpful. We have been through a lot over the last two years. Things are now going back to normal and can start outings to the pub again.

I have been very happy to know Mum is being cared for properly; in comparison to a previous respite home. She always looks happy, clean and content. This a relief to know that I don't have to worry about her. I would feel happy to recommend Coton House. Many years ago, my grandfather was here, and he enjoyed his time here.

During the eighteen months my mother resided at Coton House Care Home she was cared for in an exemplary way by all staff and they always had her best interests at heart.

Communication between the home and family was very good and we were kept well informed about any visits from the nurse, medical updates, dietary issues and any special activities organised for the residents, Covid permitting. The seniors are to be commended for arranging FaceTime calls and for the friendly manner in which they helped us navigate through such difficult times. All the very best moving forward.

Coton House Care Home came highly recommended by a friend whose parents and aunt had all been residents, so when it suddenly became necessary to find a residential setting for Mum then Coton House was our first choice.
Although Mum has only been a resident for eight weeks we can see that she is starting to settle into her new surroundings. Her general level of anxiety and agitation is very much reduced and the care team has been able to establish an improved sleep pattern which is contributing to Mum’s wellbeing.

I feel that Mum is in safe hands with the care team and am very grateful for the kindness and attention they are giving to my very frail and elderly mum.

When Mom was admitted to Coton House Care Home I had received a call prior to Mom's arrival there to explain everything involved with her care which was very assuring. The care Mom received was very good, especially as Mom can be extremely challenging at times. The manager was very accommodating when approached with a phone call to arrange a visit or to see how Mom was doing. I was very impressed all round with Mom's experience.

My mother went to stay at Coton House in December last year due to her dementia. All the staff I have dealt with have been caring, professional and made my mother's last few months comfortable.

I have no hesitation in recommending Coton House for residential stay and thank all the staff for looking after my mother so well.

My Aunt had been at Coton House for almost 3 years until her death earlier this month. From the outset, she was treated with top-level care, compassion and affection. I was always kept informed of events at the home, how my Aunt was and any medical intervention was relayed to me quickly. I cannot praise the team enough.

My Auntie moved to Coton House in 2019 following her hospital admission with a fall. Her health had deteriorated and it was no longer safe for her to remain in her independent accommodation. The hospital placed her at Coton house temporarily but we agreed for her to remain there permanently. We were so happy when we arrived for our first visit, Coton House was lovely like a home from home and all staff were friendly and ever so helpful. The residents appeared happy and safe and the atmosphere was warming. Sadly my auntie passed away peacefully during the COVID pandemic. The past year she spent at Coton House was fulfilling and as a family, we have been grateful to all the staff for their support and care. Especially at the end with COVID restrictions we were not there by her bedside to hold her hand at her passing. Coton House provided all the care respectfully and lovingly as if we were there ourselves. The staff are dedicated to the residents and relatives giving exceptional service.

Everything was perfect, the management, staff with no exception were wonderful, caring, very personable and very empathetic to my father's needs. There is a genuine warmth there. I have not had any experience of residential care homes before, it was a wonderful surprise to see this level of care. I will without doubt highly recommend Coton House. Thank you for everything you did for my dad, nothing was too much trouble.

Since being in the home - and it really is a "home" and not an institution - Mom has enjoyed life and has been looked after in a kindly, friendly and caring way. At 95 years she is not in the best of health, but no matter, her needs have been met lovingly. It seems that nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are always there to attend to her needs. I am sure that her lifespan and her quality of life have been extended and enriched by the care and attention she has received.

My mom has been resident for over two years, and I've always been confident that she is being well looked after. The staff, from cleaners and cooks, through carers and management, are all exemplary.
I have obviously been concerned during the Covid-19 crisis, but thanks to the measures in place and the efficient way in which they were implemented, everything has been first class.

I can't thank the staff enough.

During this Covid-19 pandemic, the staff at Coton House have been nothing short of amazing. They kept me informed when some residents tested positive and told me everything they were doing to make sure they provided brilliant care while my parent and the other residents had to stay in isolation. They changed meal plans and came up with ideas to ensure the resident's new needs were met and genuinely I have nothing but complete praise for the manager and all the staff in seeing their way through this awful time.
It was a testament to the staff that they managed to keep the virus at bay for so long - by the time the residents caught it, they were one of only two homes in the city who had remained virus-free and this was at the very end of April.

I would not hesitate recommended Coton House to anyone. Since my parent has been there, it's been nothing but positive. My parent settled in very well and has remained happy ever since.
