I am giving an excellent review for Coton House care home, Wolverhampton.
My Aunt who sadly passed away last Friday 24 April 2020, went into Coton House, on a permanent basis in December 2019. Since being there, she has been very well cared for and looked after extremely well. The staff are superb, my Aunt bless her, could be rather difficult at times and the staff dealt with this remarkably well.
In her final days, due to the Coronavirus, I was not able to see my Aunt for the last time. The management kept me informed throughout and looked after her in a very caring way. They also put my mind at rest throughout. When she finally passed, they treated her with the greatest respect.

If you are looking for a nursing home for a loved one, Coton House should be your first choice.

Overall, I cannot fault anything about this care home. I have complete confidence in the management, staff and facilities. My Mother is 91 years of age, has dementia, is frail and in poor health generally. Naturally, I want the best for my Mother, and in my opinion, she has it. I do not know cost wise how Coton House compares with other similar care homes, and so, can only give a general opinion of value for money, whether she could get the same levels of comfort and care elsewhere for less I don't know. Currently costing almost £100 per day for her care seems a lot, but on the other hand what price can you put on the peace of mind brought to my Mothers loved ones, knowing she is in such excellent overall care?

Thank you very much for the review. So glad to hear you are happy with the our services. In order to meet continued demands for improvement of standards and maintain high levels of care. This has to be in line with wage increases nationally and locally. Holding on to good staff come at and cost. But the end result like you say is good quality care.

Kind regards

As I go to the care home nearly every day to see a friend, staff always open the door with a smile. They always offer you tea and biscuits. The care/support is excellent, it's a very difficult job.
All patients are treated with lots of dignity. Overall excellent.
My friend's room is very good and they are well looked after. There is one cleaner but could do with one more, it's too much for one.
There are lots of drinks, not sure on food as I've never seen them but the menu always looks very good.

Management keep a well-maintained care home so overall excellent.

In the six months mom has been here, her care, health and welfare have been excellent.

I am very pleased with the staff and care that my husband receives. Food is very good.

If anything is wrong with my husband's health, they do let me know, I can also ask questions about anything if not satisfied.

The nurses and staff are very caring and look after all the resident's needs, care for them and give them entertainment and days out. It is very clean and bright and I would say everyone makes you feel welcome and they look after visitors and it is like one happy family. I cannot find fault with anything.

The managers are just as easy to talk to and staff are all very nice. I can talk to anyone at any time. It is a very excellent home. Thank you for look after my husband.

The care home management and staff not only look after the residents, they make them feel as though they are at home and genuinely care for all of them and for us as when we visit, it also makes you feel as though that warm feeling is with all the residents and staff. The rooms are always clean and tidy and there are special days out and parties for them also. I would not hesitate to recommend Coton House to anyone.

The care home has been wonderful in supporting my nan through her dementia journey. She is unrecognisable from when she first came into the home. She is happy and has made lots of friends during her time at Coton House. It is so comforting to see her so happy and sociable and know she is in the best care.

Dee OladejiJob Title:Registered Care Manager

At the heart of Coton House is Dee Oladeji, a leader who brings a unique and formidable blend of over 10 years of frontline healthcare experience and the strategic precision of a Product Management mindset.

With a decade of experience in health and social care, Dee leads Coton House with professionalism, warmth, and a clear commitment to excellence. Holding all relevant qualifications, she is dedicated to ensuring every resident receives safe, effective, and person-centred care. For Dee, care is about more than just safety; it is about dignity, respect, and ensuring that families have absolute confidence in the support their loved ones receive.

What sets Dee’s leadership apart is her background as a Strategic Product Manager and Scrum Master. While most care settings can struggle with "clunky" manual processes, Dee has implemented a culture of continuous improvement and technical precision.

By applying Agile methodologies and workflow optimisation, she has transformed the resident experience. For our families and inspectors, this means:

Precision Care: Every aspect of daily life is designed with a user-centric focus, ensuring services are intuitive and safe.

Rapid Responsiveness: Using Scrum and Product Owner frameworks, Dee and her team can identify, assign, and resolve issues with speed and accuracy rarely seen in traditional care settings.

A Well-Oiled Machine: Strategic operations allow the staff to spend less time on paperwork and more time on what matters most—the residents.

Our Vision

Under Dee’s leadership, Coton House strives to offer not just care, but reassurance, warmth, and a high quality of life. We don’t just "do" care; we "improve" care every single day. Dee doesn't just manage a home; she builds a community where excellence is the standard and every resident’s well-being remains at the heart of daily life.
