Over all time Waterside House has 60 reviews.
My sister has been in Waterside for over five years now, and we have never had any concern for her welfare. She could not be cared for any better. All the staff from management to carers, kitchen, entertainer and garden staff are so friendly and caring, and always there to ask anything and really go out of their way to help in any way they can, so we never have to worry about my sister.
I could not recommend this care home enough. My mom is well cared for and looked after. All staff are very friendly.
A warm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.
Thank you for your lovely comments and the review, it is very much appreciated. I will pass onto the staff team your lovely kind words.
Kind caring staff that go above and beyond to include the residents in fun activities. They always have time for a chat. The home itself is warm and welcoming. Families are made to feel so welcome when visiting. They help us create amazing memories with our mom, helping to create a fantastic tea party for her recent birthday. All homes should be like this!

What a wonderful home Waterside House is, I say home because that's just what it feels like. I'm so glad we made the choice for my mom to stay there. Right from the start all the staff made her feel very welcome catering for all her needs always with a smile and kindness. As I live quite a way from the home it is reassuring to know that I'm kept well informed of any issues or problems and they are always dealt with promptly. The home is always buzzing with something to keep everyone happy the entertainment girls are wonderful encouraging everyone to join in. What a wonderful team you all are. Thank you.

The staff takes excellent care of my mom and all the other residents, which is such a relief knowing she is safe and happy.
I am kept aware of any health issues, receiving phone calls if there is a problem and the staff offering reassurance they are dealing with any emergencies. As I live a long way from the home this is so helpful.
There are always activities of some sort happening which help to keep my mom happy and alert.
Music is said to help Dementia sufferers and you can always hear something on the sound system which is wonderful. The activities coordinators are amazing bringing the home to life and involving everyone. Thursday hairdressing day is a delight to see.
There's a great community of families and we all enjoy helping with activities and fundraising events.
Every member of staff gives 100% and deserves a big thank you.
I cannot praise Waterside House enough and am so happy we found them to help us with mom's autumn years.
The team will be really pleased to know that their dedication and commitment is appreciated. I will pass your lovely kind words on to the team.
Waterside is always very well maintained and all areas are cleaned to a high standard. Residents are very well cared for and regular activities and entertainment ensure that they do not become bored. My mother-in-law enjoys the food and is actually eating more than she did previously at home. The regular religious services on a Sunday are a particularly welcome highlight of the week for her.

The food is lovely and the rooms are also very homely.
When you visit you can feel the happy, caring vibe in the home, which is so nice when you are trusting them to look after your loved one.
Thank you for the lovely review and comment made, I will ensure that all your kind words are passed on to my brilliant staff team at Waterside House.
The home is always so clean and my nan's room is lovely. It feels like a nice place to be and not an old people’s home. Nan is always at a party or doing an activity which she loves and we love to see her so happy.
Thank you for the lovely review and comment made, I will ensure that all your kind words are passed on to my brilliant staff team at Waterside House.
The care received by my dad at Waterside House was second to none. All staff members genuinely seemed to take great pride in their jobs and this was reflected in how kind and compassionate they are towards all of the residents. As someone whose father has dementia, you often worry that other people do not understand the nuance of the disease and how this can manifest itself in agitation and discontent. At Waterside House, the carers are experts in dementia care. We cannot thank them enough for taking such fantastic care of Dad while he was in respite there. We really would recommend Waterside House to anyone who needs it.
If I have had a concern this has been dealt with in a professional and speedy manner, nothing is too much trouble.
Many thanks for your review, it is much appreciated and also the kind words. The team will be really pleased to know that their dedication and commitment are appreciated. I will pass your lovely, kind words to the team.
Without moving Mom to Waterside House, I'm not sure how her overall health would be now!
A big thanks to all the staff for showing respect and dignity to our mom and for doing what you do to make our loved ones' lives as good as they can be. Gold star again.

I can only say the help and support my mother has received has been excellent. We as a family have also had all problems sorted out by the care staff.

Waterside House is a wonderful place. I am always very impressed by the loving care, not just between carers and residents but also between residents and residents and carers and carers. The carers do as much as they possibly can to accommodate the wishes of the residents, their family and their friends. You are always made to feel welcome, whether you have gone to visit or are speaking on the phone. The way they have dealt with the pandemic has been heroic, remaining cheerful and friendly throughout.
Waterside is an absolutely unique home. The caring staff become like family which during the Covid restrictions have proved comfort beyond words. The happy smiling faces of the residents are a joy to see. Words cannot express our gratitude.
Thank you for your lovely review; we like to feel that we are one big family at Waterside House and thank all the families for their understanding and support at this difficult time. The staff love to hear the lovely feedback.
Everyone at Waterside is cheerful and helpful both in person and on the phone. Each individual member of staff has developed a happy and jovial relationship with Dad. Despite his dementia, Dad always has a smile for all of them. This gives us, his family, great peace of mind. We know he is happy and well looked after there.
Many thanks for your review it is much appreciated and also for the kind words. The team will be really pleased to know that their dedication and commitment is appreciated.
All of the staff are extremely caring and all work extremely hard. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I am always made to feel welcome. My mum is very well looked after, in a clean homely environment, it's like a home from home. The care is always very dignified. The knowledge, from all staff, of dementia, is very apparent whilst my mum is cared for. A huge well done to each and every member of staff, you do an amazing job.
Many thanks for your review it is much appreciated and also for the kind words. The team will be really pleased to know that their dedication and commitment is appreciated.
The care Mum has been given has been first class, with the staff and care support also being brilliant. I would recommend the Waterside House to anyone with a person requiring residential help.

The chaplain and the activities staff are second to none and I know that the support they give enhances the home experience and is invaluable to stimulate positive mental health. I appreciate the Christian ethos of the home and feel that this translates into good care for the residents. Thank you, everyone.
