MHA Waterside House provides residential and dementia care for up to 60 residents within a comfortable and accessible living environment. Located just a short distance from Wednesfield shopping centre and Bentley Bridge retail park, with scenic spots like the nearby canal adding to its appeal. The home is made up of four distinct wings—Bluebell, Primrose, Magnolia, and Heather—each featuring en-suite rooms, lounges and shared dining areas.

The landscaped gardens offer residents a peaceful retreat to enjoy nature. With a summer house, flower-filled pocket gardens, and patio seating areas, the outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. Residents actively engage in gardening projects like the Pot Gang, growing vegetables such as tomatoes, chillies, and potatoes for meals.

My mother has been a resident of Waterside House Care Home since June 2022. I cannot fault the care she has received. All staff have gone over and above my expectations in all areas of her care. They have taken the time to get to know her and understand how her dementia affects her day-to-day life.
If
I have had a concern this has been dealt with in a professional and speedy manner, nothing is too much trouble.

Our mother has been a resident in Waterside House for over a year now and my first thoughts of the home have not changed. Every member of the staff is more than happy to help out, the home is clean and tidy which means it's safe for the residents to get around and standards are kept. The kitchen staff
cook good and wholesome food for sixty residents day after day which is no mean feat, the domestic staff clean the rooms every day. Moving Mom here is still the best thing we did as a family as she is kept busy with the various activities that the home does, encouraging the residents to take part.
Without moving Mom to Waterside House, I'm not sure how her overall health would be now!
A big thanks to all the staff for showing respect and dignity to our mom and for doing what you do to make our loved ones' lives as good as they can be. Gold star again.

Waterside House is a wonderful place. I am always very impressed by the loving care, not just between carers and residents but also between residents and residents and carers and carers. The carers do as much as they possibly can to accommodate the wishes of the residents, their family and their friends.
You are always made to feel welcome, whether you have gone to visit or are speaking on the phone. The way they have dealt with the pandemic has been heroic, remaining cheerful and friendly throughout.

Waterside is an absolutely unique home. The caring staff become like family which during the Covid restrictions have proved comfort beyond words. The happy smiling faces of the residents are a joy to see. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Everyone at Waterside is cheerful and helpful both in person and on the phone. Each individual member of staff has developed a happy and jovial relationship with Dad. Despite his dementia, Dad always has a smile for all of them. This gives us, his family, great peace of mind. We know he is happy and

All of the staff are extremely caring and all work extremely hard. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I am always made to feel welcome. My mum is very well looked after, in a clean homely environment, it's like a home from home. The care is always very dignified. The knowledge, from all staff, of
dementia, is very apparent whilst my mum is cared for. A huge well done to each and every member of staff, you do an amazing job.

Mom is very well looked after and appears to be treated with affection by the staff. She is included in the many activities provided by the home and I believe she is being helped to live her best life possible at this stage of her life. When Mom has been ill, she has been supported by the staff to get
back to health in a very caring way. I feel content that she is in a safe and caring environment and this gives me peace of mind too. She enjoys the homemade food too and is better nourished than when she was self-caring.
The chaplain and the activities staff are second to none and I know that the support they give enhances the home experience and is invaluable to stimulate positive mental health. I appreciate the Christian ethos of the home and feel that this translates into good care for the residents. Thank you, everyone.

From the very first visit to Waterside House, I knew that my Mom would be happy there and that myself and our family would have peace of mind with Waterside House being Mom's new home. The amazing care, support and compassion that all the staff show towards my Mom and to all of her family is second
to none. I have witnessed all residents being treated equally and fairly at all times whilst visiting. There is always some activity or some sort of entertainment going on at Waterside House to suit everyone, including Sunday services. Waterside House is an extraordinarily clean and contemporary accommodation with lovely gardens and in a quiet location. I always find Mom and other residents very clean and well kept. I can't speak highly enough of Waterside House, its carers and its ethos.

My father was a resident until July 2020.
During the short time, he spent at Waterside he could not have had better care. He was always saying how safe he felt and how kind everyone was.
In his last few days, the staff and Vicar went over and above to ensure his end of life plan was just right whilst
never forgetting how we his children were feeling.
I couldn't have asked for anything better for Dad and would highly recommend MHA Waterside House to anyone who wants care for their loved one which is second to none.

Myself and all my family are so pleased with the individual care and high standard of support that my mother is receiving - which we would describe as outstanding.
They have a very motivated pastor and activities team who provide activities and fun sessions for the residents, posting regular updates
and photos on FaceBook and good communication.
The care home is more than fit for purpose, clean, spacious rooms with beautiful outdoor space and gardens. A lovely care home.

My impression of the name of 'Waterside House' will be foremost in my mind after the care taken of my wife during her stay. She could not have had any better care. She was respected by all the staff and I felt that she was 'part and parcel' of the home. From the manager throughout, the whole staff were
committed to the care of the residents and indeed the relatives of the residents too! I will have memories of events which affected my wife - the likes and dislikes in food, hot cups of tea. My family members and I always had a wonderful welcome on visitors' days and the same when leaving the home. We hope that we will be regarded as 'friends' of Waterside House.

Some nine months now that Mom has been a resident at Waterside and from the outset, we could not have asked for better.
The care received is second to none, with nothing being too much trouble.
All staff are so caring, friendly and genuine in their love for residents.
Activities and events are daily
held and are of a very high standard, catering for the needs of all.
When we first moved Mom in, we were told that this was to be treated as HER home in every aspect and this has proved to be very true.
It has been such a blessing to ourselves that we know she is in such a lovely home.
Cannot say how great the staff are; just terrific.

My mother-in-law has seemed to gain a second chance at life, happier and healthier. Even though her mind may not be complete, her life is better now she is in Waterside. My father had a two-week stay at Waterside House, private respite, in order to allow us to have a break to recharge our batteries. My father's room was a lovely decent size and it was clean. The staff, with whom we had regular daily contact with, were kind, caring and couldn't do enough for my father
and also us as visitors. On a couple of occasions, the lounge was busy with residents having sing-alongs, lots of interaction with the residents from staff was witnessed, there was a lovely atmosphere on these occasions.
My father enjoyed his cigarettes and we regularly sat outside in the lovely garden area. Thank you all concerned at Waterside House.

We were asked to attend a six monthly care plan review to ascertain that the care plan in place for my mother meets with our approval and also any question that we needed to ask could be discussed. The staff were excellent, very understanding and caring, not only at the meeting but every time we visit.
It is comforting to know that our loved one is being well cared for in this environment.
