My wife moved into Evendine House from another care home earlier this year. The improvement in her overall wellbeing and mobility has been substantial. I firmly believe this is due to the care and attention of all the staff, with creates a very calm/homely feeling along with appropriate activities. Highly recommended in my opinion.
thank you so much for your kind review - what you say absolutely captures what my wonderful team at Evendine strive to achieve , every hour of every day
Lydia and the team at Evendine are exceptional. I'm so grateful for the care and attention given to my dear Dad in his final days. It is important to note that the team were also kind and supportive to my Mum and me, which helped so much. The setting is beautiful, the food is terrific, the care is sincere and beyond what you might expect. Thank you Evendine.
very many thanks for you review - i absolutely couldnt say it better and i will be sure to share it with Lydia and her team who will be so grateful !
Evendine is a warm, friendly establishment with caring and enthusiastic staff.
thank you very much for your kind review which is much appreciated . i notice there a few areas where you have scored lower than previous reviewers and i would be so very grateful if you could meet with Lydia the manager to share with her your observations and thoughts as to how we can further...
Staff at Evendine have always shown greatest respect for my mother. Always cheerful and helpful making her last years as comfortable and happy as possible. The home was always clean and tidy. Rooms were comfortable and homely. Food was always very good, adjusted to personal needs and good quality. Family were always welcomed and we are very glad we managed to obtain a place there just as it was needed. Thanks to you for your efforts.
thank you so much for your very kind and detailed review - we are delighted that you found that Evendine gave such great care in a happy and welcoming environment
By being a small care home it feels more like a home, as staff know residents and family well. Love that there's lots of activities to keep residents occupied. Staff are lovely and caring, they all muck in to do anything. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. Food amazing, lots of choice, lovely cakes, nice to celebrate different days, Valentine's, Pancake Day, Chinese New Year etc. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
many many thanks for your very kind review which perfectly encapsulates Evendine and what we believe a care home should be - a real home for life and one where's it fun to live ! thanks again
My mum is at evendine full time. the staff are lovely with her and look after her very well. all residents seem happy and its feels like a really happy family enviroment here. staff are welcoming and we always get offered a cup of tea. we love coming to visit mum and never worry about her being here. it is a shame shes cant enjoy the scenic views and the garden, they are lovely, but her dementia doesnt allow her to enjoy these things. we love seeing all the other residents aswell who we have got to know. we bring our 9 month old grandson each week, she loves seeing him and so do all the other residents. this is mums home and she is happy here.
thank you so much for your review - it is so pleasing to know that you and your mum (and indeed all the residents) are so happy at Evendine - it really is like a big happy family supported by great care.
Evendine is a beautiful home with caring staff. The activities are tailored to the needs of the resident, and everyone is given the opportunity to be involved. Since coming here, mum has gained weight and enjoyed singing and walking with the staff and visiting entertainers, which she was not safe to do in her own home. I can highly recommend Evendine House, having spent time both researching and historically working in the care home environment.
thank you so much for your kind review which encapsulates what we strive to do at Evendine - your review is so much appreciated
Welcoming staff, warm, friendly surroundings, my friend is obviously well cared for and respected.
many thanks for your kind and generous review which is much appreciated by all at Evendine
Evendine has been amazing. The introductory process was very clear and quick. Since joining Mum has truly been cared for with great compassion and kindness. She has settled swiftly with is completely down to the staff. I can't thank them enough for all their help and kindness. Evendine is truly a home away from home.
very many thanks for your kind review - that is exactly what we strive to do and we are all delighted your mother appears so at home at evendine
I have been regularly visiting my friend at Evendine for almost three years. I am always greeted by a smiling staff member who consistantly seems pleased to see me. I like the homely feel that Evendine provides and the layout of the building makes it feel like a real home from home. My friends needs have changed over the time she has been at Evendine and the staff have adapted to her significant change in needs. There is always an element of fun and chatter and a lovely range of activites for residents to engage in. The extensive gardens are just lovely and provide a lovely area to walk and talk in the nice weather.
thank you so much for your kind review which captures Evendine perfectly - smiley and happy staff (they love what the do) and a building that is not just homely but a real home for life - care as it should be and the antidote to large new build homes run by large groups ! thanks again
My mother has been a resident at Evendine for 2 years. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and love she receives from all of the staff. The place feels like a home with a family atmosphere. My mother has dementia and never wanted to go into a home, but I can honestly say I have never seen her happier than she is now.
its lovely having your mother living at Evendine and part of what as you say is like an (extended) family - i am delighted you are so pleased - thank you so much for saying so , its very much appreciated
Having worked in residential care for 12 years I have experienced various establishments good and bad during my early working life and I couldn't rate Evendine more highly, the staff, the level of care, cleanliness, activities are absolutely top rate. My mother is extremely happy in the care home and I have actually noticed an improvement in her general wellness. This is more than I could have hoped for.
thank you so much for your generous review - the fact that you have seen an improvement in your Mother's wellbeing is fantastic as that is our goal -we want each and every resident to be able to live life to the full surrounded by love, in great comfort and safety
Mum, who has dementia and mobility issues, has been at Evendine House since July 2024. I cannot fault the care that she has received over the last six months. It has been excellent. Mum appears to be very happy at Evendine and whenever I visit, I am impressed by the premises and the welcoming and attentive staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending Evendine House.
Thank you so much for your review and we are delighted that your mum is happy and having great care. I note that there are a few areas where you have scored 4 stars and that is not where we want to be, so it would be much appreciated if you could meet with the manager and discuss your concerns and make suggestions as to how we can improve further - many thanks.
Mum was only at Evendine House for a short while but thank God she was there when it was most important. Our experience was a totally professional and very open approach to care, and the care mum received during her last days was above and beyond our expectations, that sort of care and commitment can only be provided by genuinely caring people. Myself and my brother were also taken care of so kindly during mum's passing that it made a difficult time much easier. I honestly cannot recommend this care home enough. Sadly we cannot name individuals in this review, which I feel is a shame, as they deserve the recognition for going the extra mile.
Thank you so much for your review - it speaks volumes about our staff team and the quality of care they deliver - they will be so pleased to get such lovely feedback - thanks again.
We couldn't have picked a better place for mum to stay. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for such a generous review - you have expressed so eloquently exactly what it is that we think makes Evendine such a special home - we continue to invest in the home and are constantly looking to improve. If there is anything which we could do better, we would love to hear from you. Again many thanks for your review.
Our mother has dementia, mobility issues and severe vision impairment. Since day one the staff in the care home have been very attentive to her individual needs. She is very settled in the home and we are able to visit her on a regular basis without an appointment. As a family, we would highly recommend Evendine House!
Many thanks for your generous review - it is a delight having your mother living at Evendine
From the moment my mum moved to Evendine she has experienced the very best care. The team without exception are professional, caring, thoughtful, friendly and fun. Activities are set to good only because they were down by a staff member.
Thank you very much for your review - I am pleased to say that we now have recruited a new member of the team so there will again be a dedicated person to do full-time activities.
As a family, we couldn't be happier with the care provided for dad. He is always clean safe and well nourished. the staff are amazingly kind taking care of all his needs with discretion and kindness.
We are delighted that you are so happy - it is a delight having your father living at Evendine.
Evendine is home from home. The wonderful staff here is what makes it that way. Mum has been a resident for 3 years and we regard the team as part of the family. They truly care for Mum and treat her with love, kindness, and respect. I am always made to feel so welcome here and am informed of any changes, concerns, but most of all, all of the good times! I highly recommend Evendine for your loved one. The house is lovely and the gardens are a beautiful place to sit and visit.
Thank you so much for your review which we will pass on to the staff team who I am sure will be delighted with your feedback. I have asked the manager to meet with you to get your detailed input as to areas where we can improve - thanks again.
Everyone at Evendine are very friendly, the staff are very polite and helpful. It's always clean and organised, my mum looks well looked after and seems very happy.
