My aunt stayed here for 2 weeks in order to have a holiday in this beautiful area. (Due to my own health issues she can no longer stay with me in Malvern). The staff made her so welcome and took a personal interest in her well being. She loved sitting in the garden looking at the Malvern Hills and listening to the birds. I was able to take her out whenever I was free. My dogs and I were always made welcome at any time and offered a drink or even a meal. I especially appreciated the night-time care when she is most at risk of falling.

Another year on and my father and step-mother continue to consider Evendine as their 'home from home'. My father in particular (now aged 98!) who had undertaken most of the household chores in latter years, reiterates that it was the best move he ever made! Roast beef and Yorkshire (and no washing up) and no ironing - all catered for - and he gets his back scrubbed in his new super ensuite wet room.

Four-legged and two-legged visitors very welcome and all in all, something you would want to package and give to everyone who needs residential care.

We as a family feel very lucky that my Dad is being cared for at Evendine. Just like a second home. There is so much warmth and love when you walk in through the door. Totally professional, you are welcomed with open arms and there’s a wonderful fun happy atmosphere. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Great interaction for residents on a daily basis and time to just chill out and have a sleep too. Everyone is so helpful. Beautiful gardens in a great area with easy access. It says it all when you visit and your Dad is happy, enjoying life and is quite content where he is. Thank you for looking after him so well.

This is a very caring establishment and the staff have done their utmost to help my unhappy father to settle in at Everdine House.

Thank you very much for your review and very kind comments - had we known sooner that you were unhappy specifically about the cakes, we would have been sure to have made changes and prepared something to meet your preferences - the manager will feedback to the kitchen and please let us know if you are happy with the results!

After looking at several homes in the area, we were very pleased to discover Evendine House. We like the fact that there are a relatively small number of residents. The staff really do care and show respect and courtesy to both residents and visitors. Almost every time we have visited, there have been activities taking place. My mother doesn’t often take part but it is nice that the option is there. The staff are professional but also relaxed so there is a nice atmosphere in the home - which we have often likened to a country-house hotel.

Everyone extremely welcoming, on the day we arrived. Staff always friendly and willing to help. My mother, having dementia, can get very confused but the staff have settled her so well and she seems very relaxed and happy. Food is excellent.

The home provides the care that dad desperately needed due to his vascular dementia. He is very comfortable in his new surroundings and feels safe and well looked after. He receives regular personal care as a result of which he is much happier and is feeling generally very well. He benefits from the company of other residents with some of whom he has become friendly.

He gets on very well with the staff who always seem to have dad's best interests at heart. Moving into a dementia specialist care home has been the best move for dad.

My mother has Alzheimer's disease which influenced my choice of home. She retains awareness of her surroundings and on entering Evendine House she was relaxed appreciating the homely environment. I requested my mother to be taken out for a walk every day which other homes have said wasn't possible and this has been done, plus providing therapy to keep her occupied. I am very relieved my mother has settled in so well. When I visit all the residents are relaxed and well cared for.

A home from home with a little extra help to help residents to maintain their dignity and self-respect. Beautiful surroundings and a country house hotel feel. Large country house rooms and carers who care. No sign of agency carers. A sense that the staff know their residents.

I have been very impressed with Evendine House. The staff have been extremely helpful and kind. After a shaky start for my husband, they managed him well and helped him settle. The food is excellent and when I visit I am made very welcome. It is such a beautiful setting for a care home.

Nothing but praise. So glad we (the family) chose Evendine House for our relatives. The care and service they provide is second to none. Even our relatives comment on how much care and attention they receive. Activities are supplied daily to keep residents active and interested. The gardens are a pleasure to go out in.

Everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Menus for all meals are varied and changed on a daily basis., It's more than a home from home with all the added comforts.

My friend has been a resident at Evendine for 9 years. In the past, she has loved joining in with the activities. Nowadays she enjoys watching what is going on around her. She has always been lovingly looked after and is still happy and contented. Evendine has remained a home from home. The food is good and the staff delightful and caring.

My mother has recently moved here and has been made to feel very welcome. She has been made to feel very welcome. She has been asked about her preferences, taken for walks and enjoys planning to do some (light) gardening. (she is 98 so doesn't expect to be digging). The grounds are lovely. Visitors are welcomed the homely atmosphere is very apparent.

After a series of operations, my mother was exhausted and, as she put it, "in need of a break from herself". The onset of sciatica this winter was the final straw. A week at Evendine has proved to be the perfect tonic, not only is she rested but her attitude to her pain has changed so that she manages it better - an inappropriate stick has been discarded and she is walking unaided and upright for the first time in three years; changes to her home are planned and she is feeling positive about the future. She cannot praise the staff, food and general atmosphere highly enough; everyone was treated with dignity and respect, she felt nothing was too much trouble and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Thank you.
