My husband spent 2 weeks of respite at Bradbury Court. He settled in very well & the staff are delightful, kind, caring, communicative & friendly. He also attends daycare twice a week which he really enjoys. 5 star all round.

The care staff at the residential home are particularly kind and caring. They are keen to accomodate any needs. They managed to find us a tasty roast dinner and pudding at very short notice when our plans fell through and we were unable to take my father in law out for a meal. Very much appreciated

It is a pleasure to visit Mum in Perrins House. Since moving in last year, she seems content and comfortable, despite her confusion. The staff are kind and caring, and the nursing care is excellent. Mum enjoys the meals provided; the staff encourage her to eat in the (very pleasant) dining room. Although she sleeps a lot, the staff encourage her to go along to the activities on other days, which she enjoys, so she is getting some stimulation during each week.

My brother has been in Bradbury Court for over 4 years - during which time his condition has deteriorated, and he now needs full support in every aspect of day to day living. He is always clean and well catred for each and every time I visit him. The staff are so caring, and nothing is too much trouble. The atmosphere is always cheerful and calm, run by extremely experienced, well trained staff. Every area is bright, full of familiar items, making it a wonderful home from home. I would recommend Bradbury to any family looking for excellent care for a loved one.

FOTE was one of a number of residential settings viewed and stood out as a home that was authentic and held the residents and their families central to everything they do.

Initially mum went into Bradbury Court for respite care for two weeks; however, to our amazement she settled in very quickly and enjoyed the company of the other residents and staff. Seeing her content, well cared for and feeling safe helped us make the decision that was best for her and that was to remain at Bradbury Court.

The care she received was outstanding, there are a small number of residents who are cared for by staff who genuinely care and take the time to get to know every residents little ways and likes and dislikes. It really is like one big happy family with staff, residents and families all interacting together during activities or just spending time in the lounge areas together.

Food is delicious and plentiful, the house itself is beautiful and the grounds are a delight to wander.

Mum is 95 with dementia and limited mobility. She moved from domiciliary care to Perrins House a year ago. We looked at many homes in the area and are really happy that we chose Perrins House. The staff are capable and friendly and are genuinely concerned to keep her safe, healthy and happy. Staff turnover seems to be low, which gives consistency and means the staff get to know the residents. The building is wheelchair friendly and the beautiful gardens are accessible. We are free to come and go as we like and always feel welcome. I particularly like the ambience of Perrins House, it's not trying to be a country house hotel but nor does it feel like a care home. It's spacious and nice touches like good china and tablecloths make it feel homely. The range of activities is good, carefully planned and shaped around the residents. I am happy that we made the right decision and have found the best place for mum to feel at home and be well cared for and contented.

My sister, Maura, who was always determined to never end up in a care home, has taken to Davenham like a duck to water. She is remarkably content there. Her health is very well looked after, she loves the food there and her accommodation is second to none. It was a great stroke of luck for us to find Davenham.

Really happy with all the care given to my dear friend. First class care and food was excellent. My friend came for a few weeks' respite after a fall, and I would recommend Friend of the Elderly to any family and friends.

Mum had excellent care throughout her stay. It was very comforting to know she was safe, secure and being looked after by a team of staff who clearly had her best interests at heart. Whilst it is an impressive property, it was the approach staff that impressed most.

My stay at Davenham was from 17th May until Aug 22nd. Whilst major alterations were made to my bungalow. I now visit every Friday to meet friends I have made both with residents & staff.

As a newcomer to Bradbury, I can only say how pleased I am with the way I have been treated as a family member. I look forward to getting to know more of the team and the care that my stepfather is receiving, and seeing how happy he is in due course.

My friend came for respite care in July and was sobbing because it had come to this - needing to be in a care home. After 2 weeks, she wanted to have 2 more weeks of respite. Her anxiety was diminished and she enjoyed the company of residents and especially the company, kindness of the staff. She wants to be in her own home so is going back with 24 hour care set in place. If she cannot cope, she will be happy to return to Davenham. Everyone has been wonderfully kind.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home.

My father has resided at Davenhams for 6 years now & is well settled. He knows most of the staff who attend to him & they know him with his little quirks. I live in London, so my link is long distance, but I try to visit as often as I can. My father is bedridden & the carers feed him & turn him regularly due to bedsores. He says to me he's content, but has said to his carers on several occasions that he wants to 'go', but his body won't let him. Overall, as far as I can tell from my too infrequent visits, I'm happy with the care he's receiving, including from the local community nurses.

Perrin's is very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and very reliable.

A truely remarkable place run by first class people. It's steeped in history and stunning period features. A friendly, professional and caring enviroment which I would highly recommend to anyone. First class all round.

The house and grounds are beautiful. My relative's room is quite large and comfortable with lovely views of the common. The staff are kind and attentive and his needs are well met. The team have gone out of their way to provide his room with more home comforts to help him settle in. Overall I am very impressed with the home and the care provided.

My dad's spent three weeks in Davenham so far and is likely to stay for longer. It's a lovely old house with a beautiful garden and the staff have been excellent - kind, caring and patient without being patronising in any way. Highly recommended!
