Generally happy with how my Uncle is treated in particular the help we had taking him to a football match. His mental health seems to have slightly improved during his stay. We are always treated with respect when we visit him.
It's a pleasure to look after your uncle and we are so pleased we were able to support him to attend a local football match! Thank you for all your support over the years as well.
Blossom House is a wonderful home all the staff are so welcoming and friendly always very cheerful and positive. My mother-in-law is so happy since she arrived here joining in all the activities that they provide and eating well on the exceptional food that is provided. Knowing that she is so well cared for 24 hours a day gives us both peace of mind.
Thank you for such a lovely review, we are so proud of the team at Blossom House and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Lovely caring care home staff always friendly and helpful love the fact that they have pets makes a lot of difference to some residents especially my mum who loves a cuddle with the rabbit or just watching the chickens in the garden. Mum also looks forward to the Fish and Chips on a Friday if mum's happy I'm happy.
Thank you for your lovely review of Blossom House! We love a cuddle with "Goldie" the rabbit too!
The gardens look lovely and my nan even has a bird table outside her door to a well kept garden.
It gives the family members peace of mind that she is well cared for and would strongly recommend, especially with the knit and natter session.
Blossom House has a Facebook page (even a TikTok one too!) and it is great to see the number of activities that are shared.
Thank you for such a wonderful review of Blossom House! We are so grateful to the gardener for keeping on top of the gardens. I will ensure your comments are shared with the team.
We have been delighted with the care and support mum has received since her recent move to Blossom House. They truly support residents to live meaningful life where they feel valued. It was a difficult decision to move mum from her home, especially in a time of COVID, but she was isolating herself more and more and had stopped caring for herself. Since moving to Blossom House she has thrived and come alive again. She loves to join in with the many activities and to be part of the Blossom House team. Blossom House take a common-sense approach In respect of Covid, balancing risk with quality of life means we can still spend regular meaningful time with mum. The staff team have ensured they have got to know mum as an individual and have seen beyond dementia. We are more than happy!

My mother is well cared for and all her needs attended to, I am very happy with the care she is receiving at Blossom House care home.

Blossom House is a well-established care home. The staff are quite special in the day to day management. It is a real joy to see the smile on the service users faces it is so special. This is a well-run home and I commend it.
Thank you for your wonderful review of our care home, it has been an absolute pleasure to provide care and support to your loved ones.
Care plan meetings and regular calls to check in have helped to alleviate worries and concerns.
Creating an environment where my dad's interests can be explored and encouraged especially in a time where family visits are a rarity has been crucial.
Newsletters and social media interactions are lovely too.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Blossom House!
The care that has been given to my Mum since she entered Blossom House has been second to none. Excellent communications and regular updates particularly when Mum was poorly with Covid. The latest news that she is being encouraged to work with the kitchen staff in delivering and serving meals is an excellent approach to helping Mum channel the things she can still do. I cried when I read the Facebook article Blossom House did on my Mum recently. They really are the most wonderful caring team of people and I’m truly blessed that they are looking after my Mum so well. Despite the fact we are not able to visit we all as a family feel she is safe and happy and we do not worry about her at all now. Thank you to all of you.
I have found all the staff helpful at all times and will get back to you as soon as possible if inconvenient at that moment in time. They put their residents first as it is their home and their needs are met. They are professional in their work and have gone the extra mile during the pandemic especially keeping family members up to date with changes as they have occurred and deemed necessary.
And a big thank you to one member of staff, she has been so helpful and caring, I've been able to phone and speak to my mom using her own phone and she has kept me up to date with my moms day to day activity's and she facilitates the limited visits that I am now able to have with my mom so well. Everyone else at the home as well have been so dedicated to the well being of all the people in their care. I just felt a very big thank you was the very least I could do. Please keep up your great work.
Thank you so much for your kind words of support, we really appreciate it!
My mother has been a resident at Blossom House for a little over a year. During that time I have found the staff nothing but helpful to me and my family and caring of all their residents. I particularly would like to praise them on their actions during this most recent and difficult period for us all. While it is difficult to single out an individual, I and my family would like to make a special mention of the activities coordinator who has been invaluable to my mother and with all the residents with her thoughtful and practical range of activities and helping us to maintain direct contact with my mother.
Thank you for your kind words, it is very much appreciated.
The care home has a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. The staff and management are very approachable and open to suggestions from family members.
Thank you for your kinds words, it is very much appreciated. It is always a pleasure to see you.
The Blossom has undergone a lot of changes since my last review and all for the better. The management and staff all give 110%, they help you as well as there residents all with a smile on there faces. The way and pace of change the Blossom is getting to be on apar with a good class hotel. I would give it 5 stars without a blink of the eye.
Thank you for your kinds words, it is very much appreciated.
My wife has been in residential care at Blossom House suffering with Alzheimer's disease for nearly three years. I visit Blossom House weekly which is a 60 mile round trip from our home. During this time I have noticed a great improvement in care. The staff/carers that I have come to know seem dedicated to their duties, are approachable, friendly and caring. My wife is always clean and well dressed. I am happy with the care she receives.
Thank you for your kind words, it is always a pleasure to see you.
I understand Blossom House is under new management. The manager is very helpful. The staff are kind, respectful and not patronising. The ambulant residents seem happy and relaxed. There is no continued bells sounding for residents are attended to quickly if required. The home does not smell as many care homes do in my experience of visiting some of them. Having had a preconceived prejudice of care homes, this one appears to be entirely different.
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. It has been a pleasure building relationships with you all.
The house has it's limitations, as it is not purpose-built but this is made up for by the kindness of all the staff.
The management and staff carry out their work in a very caring and professional manner.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, Beverley. I shall pass your kind words over to the team.
Good care - approachable staff. Striving for efficiency seems paramount.
