My father has been in the Leys care since the sad passing of my mother in September 2024. The staff are caring, understanding and tuned in to the needs of my father I have always found them willing to discuss issues and find solutions to any issues my father has encountered. What I like about the home is its friendliness of staff and residents as well as its feeling of homeliness. They have the welfare and wellbeing of the resident at its heart through its activities and its caring nature. I have not had any complaints from my father and he loves his cup of tea there which for a tea loving man is a bonus. I also like the fact if you wanted to go for a walk the grounds are more than sufficient for a walk in the summer all round the home is what my father would have expected from his own home but we his family have a knowledge he is safe and well looked after.

The Leys Care Home is exactly that, a Home that Really Cares.

All the staff are friendly and very welcoming. My Mum is so happy there. The care she receives is faultless. There are plenty of activities for the residents to take part in and entertainment that I know my Mum enjoys. I live in Stockport and knowing my Mum is a resident in The Leys gives me real peace of mind. Thank you Raj and Team you are all wonderful!

I write this review as someone whose mother has been in The Leys for over 4 years. In all that time all I have ever witnessed is just pure love and support for all the residents and that is led by the Manager Elaine. The unwavering patience and kindness she has shown to my mother Hannah humbles me to the core. She is a shining example of being totally selfless and putting other people first. Her team follow that example and are always ready to help Mom in any way they can. Mom has dementia and can be challenging at times but all they show her is kindness and are expert in dealing with her. On her good days she joins in the activities and on her bad days they let her rest and make sure she has everything she needs. She loves the food there and it always looks delicious and the residents are all chatting happily whilst having lunch or dinner. One thing that stands out for me to is all the entertainment and activities which are laid on also. You won't find a better home in the area

I volunteer at The Leys Residential Care Home every quarter and I recently volunteered as part of the Mears Foundation, promoting health and wellbeing by taking part in creative art for the residents.
The staff are always kind, welcoming, and pleasant, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the residents. Every visit is filled with smiles, laughter, and positive energy.
The residents are lovely and always happy to participate in activities, which makes the experience so rewarding. As a keen abstract artist; I'm so heartened by the art the residents create and it makes it rewarding to be there with them to create it.

If I had a family member who needed residential care, I would certainly feel confident bringing them here. It's a truly wonderful place, and it's a pleasure to spend time there and see the positive impact the team has every day.

Mum moved to The Leys in November 2024. After viewing beforehand with my mum, we knew she would like it. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the extensive gardens which she enjoys.
Mum is very happy at The Leys. The staff are very caring and attentive. She says that the staff work very hard to make The Leys a welcoming, caring and safe home for everyone. Mum says the food is very good and well prepared. She also likes the activities, especially the music events.
The home is in the countryside but also accessible which makes visiting easy.
The owners are very helpful and care about the residents. If there is a query, they are amenable and easy to contact.

I would recommend The Leys as I know my mum is safe and happy.

My 100 year old aunt started living at The Leys in November 2024. Both she and I are extremely happy with her care. The care home is located in the countryside and has grounds of two acres. My aunt has a lovely room over looking the garden, which gives her great pleasure. The staff are all very kind, caring and efficient. The situation is very safe and the home is always clean and tidy. Dad has been at The Leys for 5 months. During this time the staff have supported him to settle in extremely well. The home is small and feels more like home from home with the staff as family members.

Mom has been here for a number of years and is treated like family. She is so well looked after and the team go out of their way to spend time with her to understand her needs. She can have her 'moments' but they are so understanding and work everyday to make things better for her.. The food always looks lovely when we visit but more than anything, when I look at the other resident's they are always laughing and seem really happy too. They do so much with them that seems to build a great community and this seems to work really well. It is not an exaggeration to say we would be lost without them

It's very good, the food is quite good, the staff are always caring and look after you, my room's very convenient having as much room as I require and toilet and bathing facilities close by, always fresh and clean. I have found The Leys to be a welcoming, positive environment for my mother. There are high levels of cleanliness and little touches like fresh flowers on tables make such a difference. The staff are kind, courteous and cheerful, my mother has visibly relaxed, has started smiling and laughing.
