My mother has been at Landona House for 8 months now and myself and family are very happy with the care she has been receiving. There are always staff about and they are constantly ensuring each resident is comfortable and happy.
The home always smells fresh and is kept clean and tidy, with many 'resident' made decorations hanging up.
The home has many activities each day, from quiz's, crafts, cake decorating, gardening to a singer who comes in once or twice a month. The carers take residents out for a walk and also have day trips.
My mother has severe dementia along with many others and she always seems relaxed and well cared for
I have worked in care homes in the past and was very dubious about my mother going into one but the moment we stepped through the door and was invited to look around (without an appointment) we knew Landona House would not let us down!
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. It truly means a great deal to us to hear that you and your family feel happy and reassured with the care your mother is receiving.

The staff are so caring and respectful to my mother. They communicate effectively with me, phoning or emailing me when needed. My family members and I feel that mum is in exactly the right place to keep her safe and give her all the care she needs.

Mum has been in Landona House for a year now and as a family we are very happy with the way things have gone. After mum had a mild stroke in January, the care and attention she was given to help her overcome any issues has been excellent. March has seen mum progress with her meals from pureed to more normal food. The kitchen provided mum with a variety of dishes. I must also praise the excellence of their mothers day lunch and the beautifully decorated dining room.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support. We will continue with all our efforts in delivering the best possible care and making sure everyone are safe and happy. Your great review is really much appreciated from Landona House Team.
My mother has been a resident for 4 months and I cannot recommend Landona highly enough. The rooms are clean and bright and can be personalised. The food is varied, well presented and delicious. Numerous activities are available such as painting, baking and the staff and management are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and my mother is treated with the utmost respect.

My mum attends Landona as day care but at present is having a month respite. The staff are fantastic and look after her so well. They also look after my dad when he visits. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely care home and atmosphere. They certainly know how to keep the residents busy with lots of activities. Would highly recommend.

Landona House has a welcoming feel right from walking in the door. When moving Mum in, the staff were great - very helpful, attentive and went out of their way to help me set u Mum's room. I'm always offered refreshments when visiting. Mum is always clean and well-dressed. The manager has been extremely helpful and responds to all my queries. Staff are very busy but I've occasionally had to ask for things for Mum a couple of times before it gets dealt with, but nothing serious. Overall, very happy with Landona House.

Since my mum has been staying in Landona House she has been well looked after. Mum seems to be content and happy. The staff are all wonderful and have really helped Mum settle into the home. The staff are very friendly when I visit and answer any of my questions I have regarding my mum's care. I am very happy with the care Mum is receiving from Landona House.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review and to know that Mum and family are happy. The team will be extremely grateful for this review. Thank you again and we really appreciate your kind words.
My sister has lived in Landona House for five years. They have looked after her very well. I would not be able to look after her as I am 81 years old and she is very difficult to look after as she is deaf and has dementia. The management and staff manage her very well and seem to be able to get her to do what is required. The food is very good and her room and sitting rooms are kept clean and tidy.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is great to see that your Sister and yourselves are happy with the care and support in which your sister is receiving. These reviews help us to improve the service in which we deliver. We will share these comments with our staff teams.
We have found Landona House to be welcoming, friendly, and understanding of dementia. There is always a relaxed atmosphere at the home. Mum settled in very quickly, she has been resident there for just over two years. I feel happy that she is being cared for so well.
Thank you for your review, it is great to see that your mum and family are happy with the care and support. We will discuss this review with our teams within the home.
Mum has lived at Landona for just over a year. During this time I have developed an admiration and gratitude to all the staff for their patience, kindness and sense of humour. The staff provide individualised care. They take breakfast to her room if she has had a disturbed night, and they are quick to recognise early signs of a UTI and initiate prompt treatment with antibiotics, one member of staff took washing home to allay Mum's anxiety. The staff are always warm, welcoming and available to update and answer any questions. I am very pleased with the care Mum receives in Landona.
