On the whole very good. Wether their is enough staff it is hard to say. Sometimes it takes a while for carers to come and attend to needs I appreciate there are many other patients to care for, but especially with continence issues, it helps maintain patient dignity. Staff are very caring and patient.

I have been going to Stapleton House now for over 5 years, within the last 6 months a change in management and leadership has resulted in significant improvements in the home .

I find the standard of care is excellent and I look forward to further changes being implemented .

I have taken part

in residents meetings and suggested changes which have been done and feedback . Every small change has made a significant change to the homes atmosphere . It's great to hear laughter in the corridors between the staff and residents .

The nurses provide a level of support to me as well taking exceptional care of all of the resident especially due many of the residents having different and complex needs .

Thank you to the Stapelton House team for all your hard work .

What a joy it is to have our mother in Delamere Lodge! ALL the staff, be it carers, nursing, domestic, admin, manager, are so caring and professional that we could not hope for better - they are stars!
For Mum's 100th birthday all the staff got behind a huge party for her supported by the new manager:
staff dancing with Mum, tee shirts printed celebrating her birthday, cake, cards, presents, banners, balloons, cards from the local primary school, and because the home fell into an enforced lock-down just two days before our family birthday visit, we were sent joyous photos to help us join in the celebration - so thoughtful of everyone concerned! All our family can't thank you enough!
At a previous care home not far from here Mum was apprehensive in the presence of carers, but at Delamere she beams when they pop into her room on our visits, always appreciating the genuine affection which carers show towards her... confirming our view that she really feels at home here! Brilliant!

From day one of my wife being admitted to Stapleton House 7 years ago she has received nothing but love, affection and exceptional medical care. I don't class them as staff or carers they were friends. Friends who not only looked after my wife but were always concerned about how I was coping and made
sure I was ok. As for Stapleton House, I ticked every box excellent that was my and my family's opinion. We all have nothing but praise to everyone who gave their love and showed it by lining the corridor while my wife was taken from her room by the funeral directors.

Our mother has been in Ferndale Court since September 2024, we as a family could not look after mum full time unfortunately! The decision was taken out of our hands because of mum falling.
The care she is receiving is second to none. We feel she is being well looked after by all the staff (some
over and beyond). The home is spotlessly clean well done Bev and team. Rishna the manager is very approachable and has addressed any issues we have had. Another mention to Kevin for keeping the residents entertained. These carers work extremely hard and definitely earn their wage.

Mum was brought to Beechcroft as a temporary resident initially, for respite for the family. As time went by my family realised that it was the best place for her.

I normally had a cup of tea while mum ate her lunch which always looks a nice healthy meal. The staff always appear chatty and friendly and ready to assist if needed.
Mum was always kept very busy with activities and looked forward to what was going to be on offer that day .She loved to be involved in what was happening and wanted to feel like she had something to look forward to and people to talk to .

My mother was struggling with a particular health problem. The family were concerned that she may need hospital treatment however mother is particularly resistant to going into hospital for other than emergency situations. The nurses responded brilliantly to our concerns and suggestions. Contacting
the doctor and ensuring that all our concerns were listened to. It is our opinion that the timely and prompt actions of the nurses and the doctor prevented any need to go into hospital on this occasion.

I regularly visit my father-in-law who is a resident at Stapleton House Care Home in Jarrow and I must say the Home is truly welcoming to all. The staff are like family and go above and beyond in their caring roles for residents and visitors. There's always a friendly face and a warm greeting which
is really wonderful and makes my day!
The first class manager and fabulous staff are professional in their caring roles and so friendly to all, it really is a wonderful place for residents and visitors alike. A recent addition to Stapleton House is the Mr Whippy ice cream machine, it's a huge success with my father-in-law! It's such a clever way to hydrate and get calories into residents who maybe don't have a good appetite, simply brilliant!
I am so thankful and grateful that my father-in-law lives here, it's such a home from home and he loves it here.

When on holiday in Portugal I found it easy to call Stapleton house and speak to the Staff regarding my Mother, the phone manner was very good and all questions asked where either answered straight away or information would be sourced for the questions asked.
The new management are trying there best
to upgrade facilities and freshen up all areas of the care home, I find this very pleasing knowing Mam is looked after and her needs are catered for to the best of there abilities.
