Staff at Delamere Lodge are so patient, so kind, so helpful, no matter difficulties being exhibited by some of residents

Tollesby Hall Care Home

Mum was at the home for 8 months from hospital to passing away. During that time she was well cared for and got on well with staff. Food was not always to her liking but she never went hungry. She was allowed posessions from home and to make the room her own with wall hangings, photos and smarts speaker.
At E.O.L she was very well attended and the staff helped us through that difficult time. I am satisfied with the service provided.
Reply from Radhika Sisodia, Owner at Tollesby Hall Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your thoughtful comments about the care your mum received during her time with us.
We are very pleased to hear that she was well cared for and that she built positive relationships with our staff. It is important to us that residents feel comfortable and at home, so we are glad that she was able to personalise her room with her belongings and familiar items from home.
We are especially grateful for your kind words regarding the care provided at the end of your mum's life. Supporting residents and their families during such a difficult time is something our team takes very seriously, and your feedback will mean a great deal to them.

My Dad was in Tollesby hall for a short time. All the staff were amazing. The care he received was outstanding. We as a family were also well supported. The nurses listened to us and we're proactive. The healthcare assistants were amazing. Went above and beyond on every shift. Housekeeper was very supportive
and my Dad loved seeing her. My Dad obviously wanted to be home, but the support from staff helped him accept he where he was safe. His food was fabulous. I can't find any fault with Tollesby hall. You should be proud of the staff. We will remember your care, compassion, commitment, courage communication and competence. Thankyou once again. I'll makes me want to work there as the atmosphere is wonderful.

I would like to thank the management team, and especially the staff on the Waterside Unit for their kind and considerate care they give to my wife. She has been there for 2 years now and is very happy and contented as we are we as a family. I would also like to say that the murals and paintings along

Mum came to Delrmere Lodge from hospital on 2nd September 2025.
The home was reorganised at the beginning of January 2026 and all the Nursing residents were put on the 1st floor.
We were worried that mum would not settle after the move, we didn't need to worry. The care on the 1st floor was fantastic.
Very attentive and genuinely caring. Especially the care from Vicky and Helen, who made mum's last few weeks happy and peaceful. The rooms and communal areas are spotless, Dawn takes pride in her work and always has time to talk to residents while she cleans.
We are so pleased mum spent her last 3 weeks in a caring loving environment. Thank you ladies for genuinely caring for the residents and making the residents time as pleasant as possible.

Dad has been at Florence Mill Care Home for over 2 years. We as a family are very happy with the consistency of care received and any issues with Dad's care are discussed & acted upon. All the individual carers interact wtih Dad and he enjoys the interaction & 'banter' as he calls it. We have been advised
that there is a refurbishment programme across at units in the home which will be of great benefit. Recently, a deep clean of Dad's room was undertaken & the floor area is now looking new!
Reply from Katrine Simm, Home manager at Florence Mill Care HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback about Florence Mill and the care your dad receives. He truly is one of a kind, and our team always enjoys the banter and laughs we share with him.
As mentioned, we have a full refurbishment programme planned across all five houses at Florence Mill, and we look forward to sharing the progress and improvements on our social media platforms.
We are extremely proud of the high standard of care we provide to all our residents and of the strong relationships we build with their families and friends, who we consider an important part of the Florence Mill family.

I can heartily recommend being able to place the care of our loved family members into the safe and professional hands of the Delamere Lodge team. My Mam has been there for over 3.5 years now and though her cognitive condition has worsened, her physical health has remained constant and on some levels,
Mam has positively thrived.
I have regularly seen the staff go over and above in terms of showing genuine loving care for my Mam and the atmosphere of the building is always uplifting.
The quality of the meals and regularity of the snacks are really good and the place always smells clean which is a credit to the work of the cleaner's who also have been wonderful with my Mam.
Moreover, the staff also listen to any family observations and concerns and look to work collaboratively in the updating of Care Plans.
Dementia Homes aren't the easiest of environments to work in so credit due to all involved at Delamere!
Reply from Kevin Robinson-Husband, Director of Operations at Delamere Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It really means a great deal to the whole team at Delamere Lodge.
We're truly pleased to hear that your Mam has been well supported over the past 3.5 years, and that she has remained physically stable and, in many ways, has continued to thrive. Your comments about the care, atmosphere, cleanliness, meals and teamwork with families are sincerely appreciated, and I will be sure to share your lovely feedback with all staff, including our housekeeping team.

My mother in law was taken from the hospital stroke ward on the 17th Dec 2025 to Ferndale. We had never had to use a nursing home for anyone, so it was a shock, but the care and understanding of everyone, from the maintenance man to the top person, put us all at ease. We could see the true care and
nursing my mum in law got. First class Mum was non-communicative, no strength to stand, and no snowlling it was very hard for everyone. The staff gave her care, kindness and dignity, and looked after the family. Thank you all. Sadly, Mum was only there six days when she passed peacefully with family at her bedside.
Reply from Ristner Yarcia, Manager at Ferndale Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your very kind words. We are deeply sorry for your loss and extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. It means a great deal to us to know that our team was able to provide comfort, reassurance, and a sense of ease during such a painful time. Overall, my Granda received fantastic care whilst he was a resident. His time wasn't without some teething issues, but he always said how happy and safe he felt at the home. The family felt as if most staff treat my Granda as if he was the only person they had to look after. And on the day he died the
staff could not have done more for me and my family, and my Granda, when we needed them the most.

My dad was a resident in Bishopsgate Lodge from April 2023 until he passed away in December 2025. During the final few weeks of his life, all of the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate. The kindness, dignity and respect shown to my dad and my family has been exemplary, especially on the day
he passed away. Nothing was too much trouble and everything that needed to be sorted out was done so with efficiency and effectiveness. We will never forget anyone here.

How do I put into words the care and compassion of the care staff in this home? Thank you will NEVER cover my thanks to these people. Their care and compassion shown to my relative over the last three years has been exemplary. They not only looked after him but also us. They stepped up to provide care
for the hours that we were not there.
My relative sadly passed in December and we had to say farewell.......three years ago we arrived as strangers......we left them as our 'other family' and you simply cannot put a price on that...thank you simply isn't enough.....

Mum needed 24 hour nursing care; she was at the home for 6 days before passing away. The staff at Ferndale were very caring and did everything they could for her, and for us as a family. The environment was pleasant, and always something going on for the residents.
I cannot thank them enough for the
care and dignity they gave Mum during her last days.
Thanks to the manager Rishner and Mame, Jackie, Ben, Winnie & Caroline and all of the staff.
Reply from Ristner Yarcia, Manager at Ferndale Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are deeply sorry for your loss, and it means a great deal to know that Mum was cared for with dignity, compassion, and respect during her final days. Our team at Ferndale Court strive to support not only our residents but also their families during such difficult times, and your kind words are truly appreciated. Thank you for trusting us with Mum's care.

My Nan has been a resident at Beechcroft since March 2025. The home is spotless and welcoming.
In that time she has been looked after by some amazing staff, including Lyndsey and Addy who go above and beyond.
My Nan is bed bound but the residents have constant entertainment and there is always something
going on around the home. It really is lovely!!!!
