My dad was a resident in Bishopsgate Lodge from April 2023 until he passed away in December 2025. During the final few weeks of his life, all of the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate. The kindness, dignity and respect shown to my dad and my family has been exemplary, especially on the day
he passed away. Nothing was too much trouble and everything that needed to be sorted out was done so with efficiency and effectiveness. We will never forget anyone here.

How do I put into words the care and compassion of the care staff in this home? Thank you will NEVER cover my thanks to these people. Their care and compassion shown to my relative over the last three years has been exemplary. They not only looked after him but also us. They stepped up to provide care
for the hours that we were not there.
My relative sadly passed in December and we had to say farewell.......three years ago we arrived as strangers......we left them as our 'other family' and you simply cannot put a price on that...thank you simply isn't enough.....

Mum needed 24 hour nursing care; she was at the home for 6 days before passing away. The staff at Ferndale were very caring and did everything they could for her, and for us as a family. The environment was pleasant, and always something going on for the residents.
I cannot thank them enough for the
care and dignity they gave Mum during her last days.
Thanks to the manager Rishner and Mame, Jackie, Ben, Winnie & Caroline and all of the staff.

Amazing care home. Such lovely people who work there. They care so much about the residents. They always make the effort and make sure all residents feel at home. My grandad was giving the best possible care whilst he was in there. So glad he was cared for by wonderful careers and nursing staff. They
are one in a million. Moss house is such a lovely unit. Anyone would be lucky to have their love ones cared for by then. Appreciate them all so much. They don't get the praise they deserve.

The care home ensure my parent is in the lounge for most of the day and not in her bedroom which is good for companionship etc.
Staff inform me of any falls occurring in a timely manner & detail treatment/or if an ambulance has been called.
They have regular update meetings advising of events, or
what they have going on in the home & it is an opportunity to chat about any issues which may arise. There is also a suggestion box.

the impact that illness and devastating diagnosis have on families which will only worsen as time goes on and the acceptance that you realise you can't do it all knowing that Stacie and her team lovingly care for our family member makes those harder days a little easier to bear.

My mum had the misfortune to Break her Glasses whist in the Home. The Home have since ordered a replacement pair at No Cost to Mum. This is very good because in most Homes or Workplaces they would say 'Tough get your own and pay for it yourself.'
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeThank you for your feedback, Steven.
We replaced your mums glasses at no cost because you expect practical support and we acted quickly to give it. You highlighted that many places ask families to sort things out themselves. We prefer to remove stress and resolve issues on the spot.
We aim to give consistent care. You saw this when staff identified the breakage, reported it, and arranged a replacement pair without delay.

Well first of all I must say that ALL the staff & especially Lyndsey she goes above & beyond to help my mum settle in really quickly, I am so much appreciated that the work they do is hard as I was a carer for nearly 30 years so I know how difficult it can be at times, I just want to give Lyndsey all
the credit an so much more than she deserves to keep us informed about any changes to do with my mum.....you all do a great & wonderful job looking after my mum & all the other residents, keep up the good work xx
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and generous review. Hearing about your positive experience truly means the world to our entire team.
We were especially delighted to read your kind words about Lyndsey. She really is an outstanding member of our staff, and we are so proud that she made such a significant impact in helping your mum settle in so quickly and keeping you well-informed. We will make sure she gets all the credit she deserves-and more!
Your acknowledgement of how challenging, yet rewarding, this work is, especially given your nearly 30 years as a carer, makes your compliment even more meaningful. We know the trust you place in us is immense.
It is our genuine pleasure to care for your mum and all our residents. We will certainly keep up the great work!

On the whole very good. Wether their is enough staff it is hard to say. Sometimes it takes a while for carers to come and attend to needs I appreciate there are many other patients to care for, but especially with continence issues, it helps maintain patient dignity. Staff are very caring and patient.
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeDear S C
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very pleased to hear that you find our staff caring and patient, and that your overall experience has been very good. Your comments mean a great deal to the team.
We also appreciate your honest observations regarding response times, particularly in relation to continence care. Maintaining residents' dignity is a priority for us, and we are sorry for any occasions where you felt this may have been compromised. We continuously review our staffing levels and workflows to ensure we are meeting residents' needs as promptly as possible, and your feedback will be shared with the senior team as part of that ongoing improvement process.
Please be assured that we are committed to providing safe, respectful, and person-centred care. If you ever wish to discuss your concerns in more detail or share further suggestions, we would be very happy to speak with you directly.

I have been going to Stapleton House now for over 5 years, within the last 6 months a change in management and leadership has resulted in significant improvements in the home .

I find the standard of care is excellent and I look forward to further changes being implemented .

I have taken part

in residents meetings and suggested changes which have been done and feedback . Every small change has made a significant change to the homes atmosphere . It's great to hear laughter in the corridors between the staff and residents .

The nurses provide a level of support to me as well taking exceptional care of all of the resident especially due many of the residents having different and complex needs .

Thank you to the Stapelton House team for all your hard work .

Reply from Stacey Wilson, home manager at Stapleton House Care CentreMany thanks for such a lovely and positive review commenting on all the hard work of the staff which I will pass on to the team. As you have mentioned, we have implemented changes which have been received positively with lots more to come in the New Year to improve quality of life for all residing here at Stapleton. Many thanks again

Delamere Lodge Care Home

What a joy it is to have our mother in Delamere Lodge! ALL the staff, be it carers, nursing, domestic, admin, manager, are so caring and professional that we could not hope for better - they are stars!
For Mum's 100th birthday all the staff got behind a huge party for her supported by the new manager:
staff dancing with Mum, tee shirts printed celebrating her birthday, cake, cards, presents, banners, balloons, cards from the local primary school, and because the home fell into an enforced lock-down just two days before our family birthday visit, we were sent joyous photos to help us join in the celebration - so thoughtful of everyone concerned! All our family can't thank you enough!
At a previous care home not far from here Mum was apprehensive in the presence of carers, but at Delamere she beams when they pop into her room on our visits, always appreciating the genuine affection which carers show towards her... confirming our view that she really feels at home here! Brilliant!
Reply from Sarah Mann, Home Manager at Delamere Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for your beautiful words and for taking the time to share this heart-warming review. It truly means the world to all of us at Delamere Lodge. It has been an honour and a joy to celebrate your mum's incredible 100th birthday with her. The team were delighted to make her day as special as possible, and seeing her smile, dance, and enjoy every moment reminded us why we do what we do. We are so glad that the photos helped you feel part of the celebration during the lockdown period.
Your mum is a remarkable lady, and the warmth she shows towards the team reflects the genuine relationships they have built with her. Knowing she feels safe, comfortable, and at home here is the greatest compliment we could ever receive.
Thank you to your whole family for your trust, your kindness, and your appreciation. We feel privileged to be part of your mum's journey and will continue to give her the care, joy, and affection she deserves every day.

With warmest regards
