Ferndale Mews Care Home

The care home have been excellent. Nothing has been too much trouble. The manager and staff are the friendliest and nicest people you could wish to meet, and treat my mother with dignity and respect. Mum moved from a home in South Wales to be closer to us. Would highly recommend. She is the best she has been in ages, clean, comfortable and happy and never bored. This care home is a credit to its community and provides exceptional service.

I come to the home a few times a week and all the staff are always very welcoming and chat to me. Anything I have asked, they have been great and very helpful.

My late father was cared for by the wonderful staff; they did everything they could for him, feeding him, washing him, and even shaving him. We were glad he had 24-hour care, which we couldn't provide for at home, so grateful there are places like this.

Ferndale Mews is excellent. They have surpassed anything I could ever have imagined in terms of care for my husband. He entered the home 3 weeks ago with very complex dementia care needs. He took ill a few days ago and all the staff were excellent. All their training and care qualities took over and they ensured that he received the help he needed and I could tell that they have followed the necessary steps put in place to ensure that my husband was cared for. He visited the hospital and returned to the care home 2 days later and it really was like going back home. His face was beaming when he returned and that said it all for me. He even joined in the chair exercise class when he got back there. My husband is in very safe hands and I would thoroughly recommend Ferndale Mews. They do not just care, they really care.

I am satisfied with the care mum is receiving and the staff are all very caring and respectful. Mum tells us often how she is being well taken care of. Your staff clearly all work hard to make the residents feel at ease and the families too. Mum's room is kept clean, she is enjoying her meals, and the nurses and carers are attentive.
