On the whole very good. Wether their is enough staff it is hard to say. Sometimes it takes a while for carers to come and attend to needs I appreciate there are many other patients to care for, but especially with continence issues, it helps maintain patient dignity. Staff are very caring and patient.

Mum was brought to Beechcroft as a temporary resident initially, for respite for the family. As time went by my family realised that it was the best place for her.
She is safe and well cared for.
The manager and staff go to extreme lengths to meet her needs. Her room is like a home from home. There
is nothing denied to her.
Beechcroft care home has everything you could possibly need/want.
The meals are excellent and plenty of choice.
I would recommend this care home to anyone who is worried about their loved one settling down.

My dad was a resident at Beechcroft Care Home from September 2024 until he sadly passed away on the 18th of September 2025 in hospital.
The professional approach of all the care team members and management was second to none for the entire time that my dad was a resident in there care.
The communication
I received throughout the entire time my dad was in there care was nothing short of exceptional.
Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the care team or management.
They were always very professional, friendly, polite and are extremely hard working individuals.
Dad was always treated with respect, compassion & kindness throughout his time at this lovely care home.
I can not thank these very hard working people enough for making the last year of my dads life as comfortable as possible.

My Mother in Law was in the care home for 13 months. Due to a change in her circumstances she had to be moved. Nothing at all to do with Beechcroft.
The care she has received during her 13 months was exemplary. The staff were wonderful and attentive. We visited at different times during the day and
nothing was ever too much trouble.
The food served was excellent and cooked fresh daily. Help feeding if required was always given.

Our mum was placed in Beechcroft from June 2024 until July 2025. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control she was moved to another location.
During her stay she was treated with respect, kindness, compassion and received excellent care. All members of nursing and care staff were extremely
attentive to mum and attended to her every need. We are sad mum had to leave as she could not have been treated better anywhere else.

My mum is happily settled in Beecroft. She has had a few health scares during her time but I was kept informed at all times by considerate and caring staff. I visit most days and all the care workers welcome me with a smile and a little chat which I really appreciate as I know how busy they are. The
food is exceptionally good - good variety and beautifully home cooked. The office manager is warm and welcoming and willing to help and advise. The maintenance person, activities people, cleaners and laundry ladies do fantastic work - nothing is too much trouble. Despite how busy the manager is he always asks me how I am too. I would recommend Beechcroft as a safe, caring home.

This care home is appalling, there is a lack of care towards the residents the staff do not seem interested in anything the residents say. On a visit I was greeted with a lady wondering around with only soiled underwear on and a top, the staff didn't seem to care and when they noticed they just put
her into her room they didn't help her get sorted they just walked straight out. Staff charging their phones in residents rooms, which to me is very unprofessional when they can charge it in the office. The staff are unprofessional, and the manger only protects his staff and not the residents when asked for a meeting it is all his way or the high way, you are made to feel you can't have a voice because to him you are wrong and he is right which he makes known. He makes residents feel scared & unwanted, I worry about my family member every day. Every time I visit I come away with a new concern, I worry about other residents I do not know. This care home is not fit to care for your loved ones.

My mother in law came to this home in May 25 and put on ASH wing for EMI nursing needs. The welcome was amazing, with the clinical lead and unit manager/nurse. Her room is lovely and spacious. All the carers came at different times of the day to introduce themselves and not overwhelm my mother in law.
The care they all provide is incredible, this includes housekeeping, Maintenace, kitchen and activity staff who all deserve praise. The manager of the home is lovely and will help with anything. The support they give to us as a family is amazing, my father in law is finding it very difficult with this decision and the reassurance and kind words Sue has given him has meant so much to him. Some people are quick to call care homes, but Beechcroft go above and beyond everyday with all the residents, well done.

Mum has been in Beechcroft Care Home (Oak Wing) for around 6 months after being discharged from hospital into Nursing Care. Any minor issues are quickly addressed and the management and staff have looked after Mum and her needs really well. Mum is happy at Beechcroft. Although Mum doesn't mix much herself,
there is plenty going on for those who want to be more active. There is a good atmosphere and the staff are really caring and attentive. I find we work well as a team, family and carers. There's little choice for Nursing care homes in Runcorn but Beechcroft are doing a great job

My Grandad is resident at Beechcroft. After a lengthy stay in hospital we had difficulty finding a placement. Beechcroft was always in my top choices and we were delighted when they offered him a place. The staff are wonderful. The leadership team are friendly, approachable and always keep me updated
with every change and amendment from the home manager, ward manager and the team leader.
The home will welcome the upcoming refurbishment but the atmosphere is always lively and bustling with music playing and staff and activities interacting with residents. This is what we wanted for him and he enjoys the stimulation.
He is thriving at 89 at Beechcroft and I feel happy that he is in the care of the staff team, being treated with dignity and respect and that the team will fight for his rights and needs as much as I will myself.

After taking my nan out of a "luxury" care home I was very apprehensive.
The staff are so genuinely caring and compassionate and this is something that cannot be taught. They are all so positive and kind. This level of care was amazing and I felt so reassured that my nan had arrived somewhere which
felt so homely.
stand out moment-when we first arrived the staff member greeted my nan and came down to her level, shook her hand and introduced himself. Sometimes people in wheelchairs can get overlooked and this was never the case.
All the staff and managers are wonderful. Particularly the ward manager who took such great care of my nan towards the end of her life.
Also another staff member in particular who was so positive and always called me with updates etc on days I couldn't go and see my nan. So genuine and kind.
The manager is such a wonderful person who always checked in on us all and cares so much about the staff and residents.
All the staff are absolute assets to this home.

Job Title: Home Manager

My name is Florin Hergheligiu, and I am proud to serve as the Registered Manager at Beechcroft Care Home in Runcorn. My journey in healthcare began in 2016 as a nurse in Cumbria, where I spent five years honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience, including 2.5 years as a Clinical Lead. During this time, I also worked as a Bank Nurse (Band 5) at West Cumberland Hospital, which deepened my understanding of hospital and residential care. In 2021, I relocated to Liverpool and became the Deputy Manager at Bloomcare - Brushwood Care Home in Speke. My passion for providing high-quality care and leadership has since led me to my current role at Beechcroft, where I continue to focus on delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
