I'm so happy that my dad is getting the best care, also they like the families to be involved. I've checked a few homes around where we live but we, as a family, are so happy and Dad is so settled. We went to a BBQ, oh my gosh, never tasted food like it. Also, they were thanking all the families. We

My family member has been at the home for over three years, there have been big changes and many teething problems but after hard work from the management team and care staff, these problems seem to have been resolved.
Staff are approachable, caring and work hard to ensure my family member is cared
for.
Food is delicious and varied even though my family member has a soft diet.
The lounge is full of residents daily and activities are arranged seven days a week.

Care home was a credit to the care and dignity my dad received in his last few weeks. We could visit any time of data, which was a great comfort to people and friends who wanted to visit Dad. Overall, the staff and management were there if we needed any questions answered or any special treats for Dad,
he had a glass of stout with me before his bedtime, which was a little moment that I shared during his last days. I thank you all for the wonderful care and help.

The room was appalling, bare, impersonal, dirty carpet, curtain hooks missing, rubbish dumped in tumble down shed in view of window. Slow response to buzzer, catheter unemptied. Food sparse, especially as the room was the last to be served! Nails uncut, hair uncut. I hope I never end up in a place like
that. Food hygiene rating 1. I needed to contact social services.

After being here recently, I was delighted to get the chance to come back. I was delighted to come. The main reason was the manager who was brilliant the first time and then I was given the chance to come back which I did without question. The manager is very helpful and staff are very very helpful.
I doubted to find that in a home. They are all twelve out of ten.

I feel Beechcroft is improving daily in relation to the improvement works. It also appears to be better staffed since my father first moved in. We have only had one disappointment and that is in relation to him not having a working TV aerial to his room. Some residents use the area outside the dining
room to sit and chat and I think some of the lounge area could be utilised as a comfy relaxing area. TV always on very loud.

There is no communication between staff patients and their families.
My mother has bed sores and cradle cap due to hygiene reasons.
She presses her nurse button only for it to be switched off and not attended to.
I dropped her off after a day out only to be told she would have to stay in her wheelchair
until two members of staff were available to put her in bed. When I asked how many staff were on, she proceeded to tell me that they had three members of staff on for approximately 31 patients.
We are always left outside the home in all weather, even if my mother is in the wheelchair with me.
Sorry to say but my mother utterly despises where she lives, she gets really upset every time we leave her.
Feel like we can't complain as the staff become really unprofessional with us.
Unfortunately, they're mainly agency staff that don't need any qualifications to be a carer.

Dad moved into Beechcroft in April 2022 but unfortunately passed away in September 2022 after numerous falls in their care. It has come to light since that the records of his falls were not kept updated, including his Care Plan! I do believe that the records have improved under the new ownership but
unfortunately, that doesn’t bring our dad back.

I am writing in praise of the wonderful staff at Beechcroft Care Home, Runcorn. My father passed away on the 21st of December 2022 and was cared for with genuine love and kindness from 2018 when he first joined the lovely Beechcroft community. They are so good, I call them angels. His family and I were
treated like friends vs family and continued to do so more intently even as Dad worsened. They're relentless in their dedication and desire to please and to put a smile on faces. Dad had a very happy life and a very peaceful and happy demise. The staff even put a carnation in his hands at the end.

My mother was placed in this place after breaking her hip in September. She was in there for 8 weeks and not once did she set foot out of her room. Her meals were not fit for purpose as she has no top teeth so she could not eat the hard solid food they gave her. They are understaffed most of the rooms
on one side of the building are full of boxes and other junk, and so is the communal room. I would not advise anyone to put their relative in this place. I've got her out of there and brought her home. All they want from you is your money. This is only my humble opinion.

My first impression of Beech Croft nursing home was somewhat apprehensive. But from the moment we met the staff, it became very clear that they were exceptionally caring to all their residents. The accommodation itself is immaculate, scrupulously clean and well presented. The individual care for the
patients is hand-picked by well trained and thoughtful staff. From the staffing levels, which personally look after them, much care and observation are worked on. Since my brother-in-law has gone into Beachcroft, he has greatly improved in his social interaction and his well being. I can only highly recommend this care home. They see to all his needs, plus they also consider his immediate family ie, his wife of 60-years, and keep her well informed of his progress. All I can say is a very big thank you.

Since I have been placed at Beechcroft, the staff have been outstanding and very friendly. I feel very at home here. They are always there for you no matter what, what help you need. They are a credit to NHS, and with their effort and deadecation as a team and hard work, I would recommend Beechcroft
to everyone. They're like one big happy family, very caring and would like to see a change in higher wages for their deadecation in their job.

The care given by the team at Beechcroft is amazing. Every staff member was genuinely caring and respectful to my aunt. My aunt was only at Beechcroft for three months before her death, but during this time, she was given exemplary care. Each time I visited, she was comfortable and obviously well cared
for. Our family are very grateful to all the amazing team at Beechcroft, particularly in her final weeks when they also helped me with their consideration and kindness at an upsetting time.

The time and effort put into caring for residents is exemplary. You can see the feelings are genuine, we are always kept up to date with what is happening. Home is always clean and inviting. A wide variety of food is available and all needs catered for. Entertainment is provided whenever possible and

Florin Hergheligiu

Job Title: Home Manager

My name is Florin Hergheligiu, and I am proud to serve as the Registered Manager at Beechcroft Care Home in Runcorn. My journey in healthcare began in 2016 as a nurse in Cumbria, where I spent five years honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience, including 2.5 years as a Clinical Lead. During this time, I also worked as a Bank Nurse (Band 5) at West Cumberland Hospital, which deepened my understanding of hospital and residential care. In 2021, I relocated to Liverpool and became the Deputy Manager at Bloomcare - Brushwood Care Home in Speke. My passion for providing high-quality care and leadership has since led me to my current role at Beechcroft, where I continue to focus on delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
