The care home ensure my parent is in the lounge for most of the day and not in her bedroom which is good for companionship etc.
Staff inform me of any falls occurring in a timely manner & detail treatment/or if an ambulance has been called.
They have regular update meetings advising of events, or
what they have going on in the home & it is an opportunity to chat about any issues which may arise. There is also a suggestion box.
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about the care your parent is receiving. We genuinely appreciate hearing from you. It's wonderful to know that your parent is benefiting from being in the communal lounge. Ensuring our residents have opportunities for companionship and social interaction is a high priority for us, and we are pleased this is making a positive difference.
Your kind words about the overall experience, especially highlighting the staff, care, and safety, mean a great deal to the whole team.
Thank you again for your review and for trusting us with your parents care.

Since losing my dad in January, I have taken over care for my grandad. The staff and management have been incredible with my grandad and myself. They keep me updated on him via phone, and any support or questions I have are no problem for the staff to point me in the right direction. The manager is
very approachable and caring. My grandad is being taken care of, and it puts my mind at ease. Thank you all.

My mum had the misfortune to Break her Glasses whist in the Home. The Home have since ordered a replacement pair at No Cost to Mum. This is very good because in most Homes or Workplaces they would say 'Tough get your own and pay for it yourself.'
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeThank you for your feedback, Steven.
We replaced your mums glasses at no cost because you expect practical support and we acted quickly to give it. You highlighted that many places ask families to sort things out themselves. We prefer to remove stress and resolve issues on the spot.
We aim to give consistent care. You saw this when staff identified the breakage, reported it, and arranged a replacement pair without delay.
Thank you for taking the time to send your comments. Your feedback helps us improve the service you receive.

Well first of all I must say that ALL the staff & especially Lyndsey she goes above & beyond to help my mum settle in really quickly, I am so much appreciated that the work they do is hard as I was a carer for nearly 30 years so I know how difficult it can be at times, I just want to give Lyndsey all
the credit an so much more than she deserves to keep us informed about any changes to do with my mum.....you all do a great & wonderful job looking after my mum & all the other residents, keep up the good work xx
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and generous review. Hearing about your positive experience truly means the world to our entire team.
We were especially delighted to read your kind words about Lyndsey. She really is an outstanding member of our staff, and we are so proud that she made such a significant impact in helping your mum settle in so quickly and keeping you well-informed. We will make sure she gets all the credit she deserves-and more!
Your acknowledgement of how challenging, yet rewarding, this work is, especially given your nearly 30 years as a carer, makes your compliment even more meaningful. We know the trust you place in us is immense.
It is our genuine pleasure to care for your mum and all our residents. We will certainly keep up the great work!

On the whole very good. Wether their is enough staff it is hard to say. Sometimes it takes a while for carers to come and attend to needs I appreciate there are many other patients to care for, but especially with continence issues, it helps maintain patient dignity. Staff are very caring and patient.
Reply from Florin Hergheligiu, Home Manager at Beechcroft Care HomeDear S C
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very pleased to hear that you find our staff caring and patient, and that your overall experience has been very good. Your comments mean a great deal to the team.
We also appreciate your honest observations regarding response times, particularly in relation to continence care. Maintaining residents' dignity is a priority for us, and we are sorry for any occasions where you felt this may have been compromised. We continuously review our staffing levels and workflows to ensure we are meeting residents' needs as promptly as possible, and your feedback will be shared with the senior team as part of that ongoing improvement process.
Please be assured that we are committed to providing safe, respectful, and person-centred care. If you ever wish to discuss your concerns in more detail or share further suggestions, we would be very happy to speak with you directly.
Thank you again for your thoughtful review .

Our mother has been in Ferndale Court since September 2024, we as a family could not look after mum full time unfortunately! The decision was taken out of our hands because of mum falling.
The care she is receiving is second to none. We feel she is being well looked after by all the staff (some
over and beyond). The home is spotlessly clean well done Bev and team. Rishna the manager is very approachable and has addressed any issues we have had. Another mention to Kevin for keeping the residents entertained. These carers work extremely hard and definitely earn their wage.
Thank you Ferndale Court for all you do for our mum.

Mum was brought to Beechcroft as a temporary resident initially, for respite for the family. As time went by my family realised that it was the best place for her.
She is safe and well cared for.
The manager and staff go to extreme lengths to meet her needs. Her room is like a home from home. There
is nothing denied to her.
Beechcroft care home has everything you could possibly need/want.
The meals are excellent and plenty of choice.
I would recommend this care home to anyone who is worried about their loved one settling down.

My dad was a resident at Beechcroft Care Home from September 2024 until he sadly passed away on the 18th of September 2025 in hospital.
The professional approach of all the care team members and management was second to none for the entire time that my dad was a resident in there care.
The communication
I received throughout the entire time my dad was in there care was nothing short of exceptional.
Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the care team or management.
They were always very professional, friendly, polite and are extremely hard working individuals.
Dad was always treated with respect, compassion & kindness throughout his time at this lovely care home.
I can not thank these very hard working people enough for making the last year of my dads life as comfortable as possible.

My Mother in Law was in the care home for 13 months. Due to a change in her circumstances she had to be moved. Nothing at all to do with Beechcroft.

Our mum was placed in Beechcroft from June 2024 until July 2025. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control she was moved to another location.

I have found staff to be extremely hard working respectful and give residents dignity. Nothing is too much trouble. Improvements: I think their needs to be more recreational facilities for example darts, jigsaw, pool, chess, dominoes, draughts and other games. Further the rooms (doors etc) needs a little
work on them.
