Before my mum was excepted into this place I did my homework as in what it was like in here all the people I spoke to said it is a great place with great staff
I was not dissapointed neither is my mum

We find Beechcroft to be very clean + efficient.

The staff are very caring towards my Mother and she seems very settled.

I initially did not like the idea of Sylvia going to Ferndale Court because of the bad stuff I hear that's going on to all Care Homes. The following day after Sylvia was admitted to Ferndale Court, I came to visit Sylvia, she seem very happy of the choice she made (going to Ferndale Court). I was very impressed how all the staff worked together as a team and they are looking after Sylvia very well. Staff treats Sylvia, her family and us friends with respect. I will gladly recommend Ferndale Court. Family & friends can join activities too.

My Mother has been a resident here for 6 months, and I am absolutely thrilled with the care they receive. The staff are incredibly kind and patient, and it feels like a true home away from home. The in-house activities and freshly cooked meals have made such a positive difference to mums routine and well-being. A special thank you to the management and all the carers for the outstanding support you provide every single day and providing such great peace of mind for our family.

My father was fast tracked from a short stay in hospital to this wonderful nursing home where the staff are so friendly, respectful and very kind both to him and to me. They encourage questions and actively engage with honesty.

Pleasant care home lots of well motivated staff staff and managers provide upto date information on husbands care I am invited to reviews when these are arranged My husband is difficult and declined any social input despite this he is regularly offered this .His care has been provided in a professional manner and staff are always pleasant and welcoming manner. I would not have any reservations about recommending this care home to family and friends as I feel it is well managed and care provided is of a good standard despot objections from my husband who has been in there since February 2023

The care home have been excellent. Nothing has been too much trouble. The manager and staff are the friendliest and nicest people you could wish to meet, and treat my mother with dignity and respect. Mum moved from a home in South Wales to be closer to us. Would highly recommend. She is the best she has been in ages, clean, comfortable and happy and never bored. This care home is a credit to its community and provides exceptional service.

Both my parents are in Beechcroft and they are both settled there we had teething problems at first as and it was very hard for us all as Mum never wanted to go into a home but her needs meant no choice, it was difficult for her till dad moved in, they are on separate parts due to their needs but get to see eachother most days
The home is being refurbished and is looking great
The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are amazing with both my parents and us when we go to visit
Sam is over entertainment and she does lots of activities which is good and mum is really enjoying taking part in
Florin the manager is very hands on, friendly always approachable, he has made a difference since he came to the home
Family meetings regularly and family bbq in the summer

I am more than happy with the level of care received by my parents

The whole family are so happy to see our Mother getting the care she needs.
She is coming from the total independence of her own flat to full 24hr care. She had her concerns of giving up her independence, but after just 2 weeks at Beechcroft care home, she has blossomed, she is much happier, has more engery, and enjoys the personal attention from the very attentive staff.
She already feels at home.

We are all very happy with this high level of care and attention.

My mother came into Beechcroft just after New Year 2026. The staff are friendly,, professional and very caring. They all treat my mum with dignity and nothing is too much trouble for them, they try to engage mum in activities that are happening and make sure she is dressed and out of bed every day. I would like to thank the management team, and especially the staff on the Waterside Unit for their kind and considerate care they give to my wife. She has been there for 2 years now and is very happy and contented as we are we as a family. I would also like to say that the murals and paintings along the corridors have made a big improvement.
