Glanmore is a residential service that provides opportunities for individuals to increase their confidence, enhance their daily living skills while increasing their level of independence. Glanmore provides support for seven adults with complex and challenging needs associated with Mental Health or a personality disorder.
The service has experienced and well-trained staff who put individuals at the centre of their recovery, whilst using a caring, positive and empowering approach. All staff undergo an ongoing training to ensure the right support is being provided.
Glanmore focuses on recovery while utilising tools such as The Recovery Star Model. The Recovery Star is a tool used to support individuals to maximise their independence. The Recovery Star focuses on 10 major life areas such as managing their Mental Health, physical health and self-care, identity and self-esteem.
Glanmore has seven bedrooms all fitted with en-suite facilities. The ground floor has two bedrooms, three on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. Glanmore has a large kitchen, dining room, lounge, conservatory and meeting room. Outside, there is a lawn, large patio and car park.
