My mum is very happy at Brookside Care Home, all the staff are highly trained and care for her, it’s a lovely community. The manager is very nice, it is very clean.

Brookside Care Home was inspected by CQC in December 2023. The report shows lots of good practice and remained good across three key areas: effective, caring and responsive. However, it is also clear that there is work to be done to address concerns relating to care planning and leadership. We are committed to addressing the concerns raised and have put together wide-ranging action plans. We are pleased to confirm that the following changes have taken place in recent months: New care planning system: We have implemented a new digital care planning system. New management: We are pleased to have welcomed a new manager to the team. Lydia brings more than 15 years of experience of working in care. Refurbishment works: We have recently done a lot of work to update Brookside. The result is more modern, comfortable surroundings with additional facilities.
