The gardens underwent a £10,000 makeover after winning an internal Sanctuary Care competition. They now feature wheelchair-friendly paths, a water feature, summer house, pontoon lighting and raised planters where residents grow fruit and vegetables for use in the kitchen.
Dining is a highlight, with delicious home-cooked meals and freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea. Activities include pampering sessions, baking, live music, trips to zoos, garden centres, pubs and the Salvation Army centre.
Broadmeadow embraces the local community with visits from volunteers, work experience students and school children, who often share performances. Staff children have even formed a choir that regularly entertains residents. Families can stay connected through a private Facebook page.

She is now on end of life care. You really can't sit there all day with your relative, but I have confidence when I leave that the staff will check on her & absolutely look after her needs. I highly commend all of them for a brilliant job they are doing. Thank you all

The condition Mum had was advanced dementia, the sensitivity from all the staff, not only carers but housekeeping, catering everybody. Sadly Mum has passed away. All the staff go that extra mile above and beyond to make sure mu mum was comfortable, happy, clean and well fed and watered while in there care. God Bless them all.

Mum has been at Broadmeadow for more than five years and we have always been very happy with the care offered. She recently fell in her room and had to wait a long time for the ambulance. Staff members stayed with her throughout. Fortunately, there were no significant injuries however her decreasing mobility has indicated that a walking aid was needed. The Manager immediately found a suitable walker which has helped mum greatly. We are very grateful for this speedy service.

I love my job as Chef Manager as we truly are one big family at Broadmeadow Court.
Broadmeadow Court is so family orientated and I love working with our residents.
I have good friends here, it's very homely for our residents and we all work so well together.
