Doddlespool Hall is an exclusive residential home on the borders of Cheshire and Staffordshire in a beautiful rural location, on the edge of the village of Betley.

The building is rich in history, dating back to the 17th Century, with Victorian additions and tastefully modernised to become a care home in 1985.

Doddlespool Hall is now part of the Cinnabar Health group an award winning care provider, known for innovative, holistic, person-centred care services offered to a wide spectrum of individuals.

At Doddlespool they specialise in providing each service user with a warm, comfortable, supportive and caring environment in which individuals are encouraged to live life to the full, within their capabilities. Their fundamental aim is to create an inviting, home from home atmosphere, and the dedicated and experienced team is committed to supporting service users with their personal needs in a peaceful, relaxing and secure surroundings.

Bedrooms are individually decorated and fully furnished, staff do however make allowances for anyone wishing to bring their own furniture to the home. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and all bedrooms are en-suite. The three lounges and a dining room boast views across the garden areas and beautiful countryside. This allows ample space for residents to entertain friends and family.

Doddlespool Hall achieves the highest standards of care by continually striving to exceed the required statutory standards. Central to delivering the quality of care is their team of trained, dedicated and friendly staff.

The Home Manager, supported by her Deputy, lead a team of qualified care assistants, catering staff, administrative and support staff. Doddlespool Hall Care Home it's all in the name - it has the splendid features of a tradional country house/hall with a lovely garden to eat ice cream in the garden on a sunny afternoon is a delight. Care is the key - it's a team of people who care abouit others, their quality of life and wellbeing.
Yes you can be assisted with practical tasks like washing and dressing bit staff think what you need before you think it yourself eg: a cup of tea and a real welcome for your friends - even a slice of home made cake.
Then the word home at Doddlespool means where I want to be. My own space to read or correspond or just to rest and gain strength. The company of others maybe residents or maybe visitors. It's all in the name

The service offered by the Doddlespool hall is exemplary. The building itself is beautiful and does not feel like a home, it feels more like their home.
The staff are superb everyone from the management team down, in whatever dept they work have time and a relationship with the service users.
The
events put on by the team just make it feel even better.

My mother in law has lived at Doddlespoole hall since May 2025 and we could not of wished for a better place for her to be. All staff are amazing, so attentive and supportive, nothing is too much trouble. The home has a fantastic manager, who is always doing whatever she can to enhance the lives of
the residents. There are always activities for the residents to do and parties are always a time for everyone to get together. Doddlespoole has such a lovely family feeling.

Our parents have been resident at Doddlespool for around 18 months and the care they've received throughout this time has been exemplary. There are daily activities for residents, the food is cooked on-site and varied, the home is well-managed and staff are caring and professional. We, as a family,

I came to Doddlespool Hall for 2 weeks post-op respite after an operation. All the staff were caring and professional. Good-sized rooms, bathrooms functional, home nice and warm. Privacy respected. I was able to look after myself. Meals good choices. I enjoyed walking in the garden.

It's a real lovely home with a lot of patient caring people involved in the home. We are very fortunate to have been lucky enough to have my granddad welcomed and cared for in this home. Fantastic service throughout. Was worried about leaving her there but needed not to worry. The staff are well trained and are very supportive towards Mum and ourselves. They are very intensive and caring. Our mum is very happy here and wouldn't have her anywhere else.

Our mum has been in here for nearly 12 months now, it was heartbreaking for us has a family to give up her home and put her in someone else's hands. The staff and quality of care is 100% and we can't thank you guys enough for making our mum happy. You have encouraged her to get her eating back and she

As a family, we cannot fault the care that my grandma has received in the last 8 weeks. They have improved her life. So much by providing her incredible care but allowing her to still have her own freedom. The home is so clean and the staff care for her with the utmost respect.

My parents have both settled in really well and all the staff are caring and attentive. They have lots of activities to keep residents entertained. The food choice is amazing. The rooms are unbelievable and like home from home and are kept very clean by the hardworking cleaners.

I attended a buffet for the residents of Doddlespool Hall on Sunday 10th March. In my opinion, the standard of care at Doddlespool Hall is second to none and the staff there are excellent. They all treat the residents with care and patience. The atmosphere there is always warm and friendly. I would

Mandy is the CQC Registered Manager at Doddlespool Hall, joining the company in June 2018.


She has an NVQ level 5 Management + Leadership award and over 20 years of experience in health and social care.


Mandy leads in supporting her staff to promote dignity and independence throughout the home to the highest of standards.

Charlie

Charlie Dennis

Job Title: Head of Care Joined: 2018

Charlie has worked in the care sector for over 10 years covering various roles. Starting with a domestic assistant and working her way up to her current position. She continued to work in the care industry whilst attending a London Drama School where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree.


Charlie worked hard to help improve standards in all her workplaces, and during COVID-19 when theatres closed, she came home and worked at Doddlespool Hall to help keep residents safe and well during the pandemic.


This changed Charlie's focus and she decided to follow a different route, as she knew she was making a difference.


Charlie continues to work to the best of her ability in her role and ensure the residents receive a good quality of care which enhances their lives.

Lisa Rowe

Lisa originally commenced her career at Doddlespool as a Domestic supervisor however, within the first year it became obvious her passion was care. During her role as a care assistant, she has worked to gain knowledge and qualifications in both Adult Care Work and Principles of End of Life.


In 2023 Lisa was promoted to Deputy Manager.


Lisa's ethos is to provide individualised care to a high standard, showing dignity and respect while promoting choice and independence.
