Charlie has worked in the care sector for over 10 years covering various roles. Starting with a domestic assistant and working her way up to her current position. She continued to work in the care industry whilst attending a London Drama School where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Charlie worked hard to help improve standards in all her workplaces, and during COVID-19 when theatres closed, she came home and worked at Doddlespool Hall to help keep residents safe and well during the pandemic.
This changed Charlie's focus and she decided to follow a different route, as she knew she was making a difference.
Charlie continues to work to the best of her ability in her role and ensure the residents receive a good quality of care which enhances their lives.
Lisa originally commenced her career at Doddlespool as a Domestic supervisor however, within the first year it became obvious her passion was care. During her role as a care assistant, she has worked to gain knowledge and qualifications in both Adult Care Work and Principles of End of Life.
In 2023 Lisa was promoted to Deputy Manager.
Lisa's ethos is to provide individualised care to a high standard, showing dignity and respect while promoting choice and independence.
In Lisa's words: "My proudest achievement has got to be when a resident voted me as Employee of the Month".
I chose a career in care after being inspired by healthcare workers during the pandemic.
Cleanliness, attentiveness and organisation skills are my strong points and are highly important for this role.
My previous civil service experience has put me in a good position to lead a strong team of like-minded individuals.
