We sourced care at Rosemary lodge initially for respite care. Staff were really welcoming, supportive and caring and mum settled really well into the lovely but homely environment. The activities have been a valuable addition for mum and she has enjoyed them and also the social interaction. These were missed during weekends and holidays. Mum has now become a permanent resident in the home

During August of this year my aunt has had several falls,(due to her own lack of patience ) the staff have been quick to act appropriately, getting the medical attention she has required and informing relatives where she would be going hospital wise. They have visited and assessed her ready to go back to the Care Home and have done everything to make sure she is back and cared for.

All the staff are so helpful, kind, so friendly, so caring always solve any problem. I always feel at ease. You can have a laugh which sometimes is important. They all seem so good to my mother. It must be so difficult to deal with dementia patients but they do with always a smile.

The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The whole building, not just the bedrooms, is always clean, tidy and well maintained. The residents enjoy are varied menu and a plentiful supply of drinks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rosemary Lodge to anyone who is looking for a residential care home for a loved one.

They are always available to give advice or updates on my mother-in-law and consistently make us feel that she is safe, loved and well cared for. She is very content there and is always included in any activity or discussion that is taking place. We feel very happy with our choice of care provider.

All staff from the office, carers, kitchen, cleaners to the gardener are always welcoming, friendly, caring and polite. They look after my mum and all the others with so much care, I don't worry about my mum. She has the best care given to her.

My partner's brother's wife was admitted because her husband was no longer able to care for her. She is not an easy person to look after in many ways but the staff at Rosemary Lodge have shown patience and kindness towards her and she is beginning to respond in a positive and happier way.

The home is caring, friendly and extremely well run as a business. The residents are clean, smartly dressed and content. The activities provided along with the friendship I think is exceptional. Rooms are small but everything is thought out. Good quality beds.

My years at the Lodge have been wonderful – there is something special in the aura of the home, and the energy and attitude of our team. Our Residents and their families feel it as much as I do. For me, it’s my second home and I am grateful to be the Mom of our happy family here."
