Wilbraham House is a warm friendly care home, nestled on the Cheshire-Staffordshire border, in the village of Audley. Wilbraham House offers residential, dementia, and palliative care.

The majority of bedrooms are en-suite and rooms are not assigned by care type. Instead, they encourage residents to choose the room that’s right for them. The home has a number of wonderful communal spaces, including two dining spaces, lounges, and within walking distance of St James Church (Church of England).

Trained cooks provide a daily varied menu of nutritious, tasty meals, which residents can have in the restaurant-style dining room or their own rooms, whichever they prefer. Special dietary requirements will be catered for.

Activities coordinators plan regular events so everyone is kept busy, though participation is entirely optional. There are daily events in the home as well as regular excursions. Residents and relatives are invited to attend the regular to planning meetings, to ensure that everyone's desires are being met.

Care workers understand that moving into Wilbraham House will be a considerable transition but one that they try to do is make the transition feel as easy as possible. By helping you arrange your room just the way you like, or bringing you your daily newspaper, the staff at Wilbraham House do the little things that make the biggest difference.

My nan lived here for many years until she passed away this month. I have got to say the staff are absolutely fantastic. I think they are the most caring people I have ever met. They go way above what they had to do for both my nan and all of my family. I would recommend them to anyone looking for
care for a relative.

Wilbraham House staff have consistently given an extremely high level of care over the past 5 years. There is a strong sense of belonging akin to a family home environment which permeates across staff, residents and management alike. This also translates to the staff striving to understand individual
needs and provide a safe, dignified, caring environment and a more personalised service. There is a wide range of weekly activities to suit everyone including provision for family participation which encourages and supports all concerned.


I have no hesitation in recommending Wilbraham House to anyone who faces such a difficult decision-making process. I am so grateful that we made the right decision in our time of need. A huge thank you to the amazing staff who have given tremendous care, above and beyond our expectations.
