I can only speak of Holly Lodge with the greatest love and appreciation they cared for my mum for 9 years, with love and compassion. It is a lovely family environment and the staff go above and beyond to care for our loved ones, in the last few weeks if her life, they cared for her and us with dignity and tenderness. If you are looking for somewhere for your loved ones to be cared for as part of the family you could not find anywhere better. I shall miss all the staff and shall be eternally grateful.

I had to do the heart breaking thing of finding my mum a care home, due to her dementia.
I visited one or two homes but I wasn't happy , I wanted I home to feel like a home not an institute.
I then went to Holly lodge and instantly walking through the door I felt like it was home from home it smelt lovely, it was clean and tidy and everyone made you so welcome.
They showed me which mums room would be and it was so homely , just what I want for her . Her own bathroom .
Mum as now been there 2 mouths and as settled in really well, she's like a different person ..
Like I've got a bit of my mum back ..
We have filled her room with little bits and bobs from home .

Everyone at Holly lodge is so lovely make you and your family so welcome.

Well what can I say! My father in law passed October 2024 and we had to find a home for my mother in law. I rang a few in the area but didn't feel a sense of caring from all but one, Holly Lodge.
This was the only one I felt I could visit and from the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be lovely.
The staff were so friendly and the home beautifully decorated, so clean and smelt fresh unlike stories I had been told from friends in the past who have had experience with other homes.
The bedroom is spacious and en-suite and is very much like a hotel. The food we smell on a regular basis and definitely makes you want to join them for lunch!

My mother has been here now for 12 months and is settled. She has her hair done weekly and a chiropodist comes regularly for a foot pamper. She has even found a good friend and they are inseparable which is lovely to know. We visit each week, sometimes with the grandsons and always made welcome with a cup of tea, we are like part of the family!

My mother has been a resident at Holly Lodge for the last 13 years. During that time she has had and continues to have an excellent standard of care. The staff have been there for years and all know mum well. They all genuinely care about all of the residents and work very hard to ensure that they are all stimulated and happy.

Mum is always dressed nicely, her hair is done every week.

If mum has to go on hospital visits a member of staff accompanies her, as mum has Alzhelmers and doesn't recognise my brother and I anymore; she is more comfortable with the staff members.

I would recommend anyone who wants a parent to be looked after with professionalism, compassion and empathy, in a friendly homelike environment to consider Holly Lodge.

I rate them very highly and am grateful for all of their years of support in looking after my mum.
