Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum started staying at Poplars in April 2023. I’d heard horror stories about nursing homes, but what can I say, Poplars is fantastic, an amazing and caring ‘bunch’ of staff set in gorgeous countryside. It may not be the ‘super modern’ nursing home but what it does offer is a homely relaxed calm safe
environment, a home from home really. You can visit whenever you want and the staff make you feel like ‘one of the family’! My mum unfortunately ended her life here and during that ‘end of life’ period they were incredible! I would not hesitate to recommend residential care here in fact I’m putting my name down for when I need it! Thank you to the manager and her amazing team!
