Someone living with our definition of "mild dementia" might experience some or all of the following:
- Memory problems such as misplacing items and not be able to recall recent events (however, in some forms of dementia a person's memory may be unchanged)

Moderate Dementia
Someone living with our definition of "moderate dementia" might experience some or all of the following:
- Worsened memory problems. Not always recognising own family members and friends. Repeating the same questions over and over again
- Worsened language and communication issues, forgetting what they are saying mid-sentence. Not being able to understand what someone else is saying
- More frequent confusion, e.g. about the time of day or where they are, including their own home
- Apathy, depression and anxiety
- Believing things that aren't true (paranoia)
- Frequent hallucinations
- Lack of emotional control, quick to anger, fearfulness, sadness
- Loss of inhibition
- Difficulties sleeping or waking during the night and behaving as though it is daytime - loss of circadian rhythm.
Advanced Dementia
Someone living with our definition of "severe dementia" might experience some or all of the following:
- Severe memory problems. Not recognising family members and friends. Not being able to recall their own name
- Severe language and communication issues, not being able to understand what someone else is saying
- Severe confusion, e.g. about the time of day or where they are, including their own home
- Apathy, depression and anxiety
- Believing things that aren't true (paranoia)
- Frequent hallucinations
- Lack of emotional control, quick to anger, fearfulness, sadness

An assessment of the client's care needs will be completed. The care fees will reflect the identified care needs and input required from the staff team.
Fees include 24 hours care, supporting clients to remain as independent has their indivdual needs allow, support with medication, laundry facilities (excluding dry-cleaning) choice of menu, catering for special diets, activities and support with maintaining/forging relationship within the home and the community, support to gain any required medical interventions, travel and support to appointments.

Overall Experience
My mum looks well looked after and has no complaints.
Staff go over and above with kindness to her and me and my family when we visit.
The manager and staff are all approachable and will listen.
The meals look amazing , drinks and snacks are served constantly. If my mum did not want what was on the menu what she would fancy is made for her as an alternative.
The home is clean.
Activities take place all the time.
The home is homely.
Due to my mum's condition she sometimes gets distressed but staff manage this.
The home keeps me informed.
Staff go over and above with kindness to her and me and my family when we visit.

Overall Experience
My Dad has been a resident since December 2023. He originally entered for 6 weeks when my Mum broke her hip and he would have been alone. Initially his settling was rocky but the management amd staff were understanding and patient and he soon accepted that he was living there. The staff are so friendly and I'm always made to feel welcome when I visit. My Dad has dementia and can never remember the names of his carers but he does remember how kind they are and how well they care for him .

Overall Experience
The care that my parents receive is excellent. All their needs are catered for. The Staff are very caring and supportive. There are lots of activities for residents to participate in and this enriches their lives. I am very happy with the Home which is providing a very safe and healthy environment for my Parents. I would like to thank all the Staff for their hard work and dedication.

Overall Experience
Whenever I have visited my relatives in the home, the staff have been friendly, informative if I've had questions, always got time for you. My relatives rooms are clean and tidy and they look clean, tidy and well cared for. The home has a very friendly atmosphere.

Caring for my husband was second to none. Looked after, happy and relaxed and so was I when I picked him up, I could tell he was loved and cared for, the managers and staff were so kind. Thank you all again.
