My mum has been under the care of Spratslade for a few years as her dementia has progressed. I have nothing but admiration for the care she has had from the amazing team. They are kind, caring, compassionate, so friendly and committed. An amazing place

All the staff are amazing, my mum has been looked after with the up most care and dignity. The staff have been brilliant with support, not just for mum but us as a family.
Especially in difficult times, we appreciate that more than anything.
Just on the staff, they are more than just mum's carers they are like extended family.
And always listen to any worries of concerns from us.,which help put our minds at rest.
Very professional in my opinion but having said that, we love to have a laugh with the members of staff as they have one of the hardest jobs in the world. Keep up the fantastic work you all do.

you're all stars in our eyes.

This is a fabulous home. The team genuinely care about the residents they seem more like family than resident and carer. The home is well run the team are caring, compassionate and show genuine empathy.

They engage the residents in activities to help stimulate them. They keep families updated.

Very pleased with mum's care.
Mum very happy and content here.
All the care given is 100% with consideration for mum's needs. The office staff even give mum 100% care that she needs from doctors, appointments, etc...

We visit regularly at all times and cannot fault anything.

It's a home from home, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are very friendly. All my mum's care needs are met, and I have never had any cause for concern since my mum has been cared for here. My mum is happy here, so I am happy. I have no concerns or think anything could be done better.

As a family a care home was last resort for my grandfather as we really wanted to avoid it, my only regret is that we didn't find this home sooner! He is the happiest we've ever seen him, and every time we visit we leave with a big smile on our faces! The staff are absolutely amazing & the care home just feels like one big family

Mum has been at Spratslade House since February. My sister and I liked the feel from our first visit. The staff are all warm and friendly, and the care is second to none. Mum has settled well, and although it's an old building, so not perfectly laid out, it's always clean and tidy. The activities are well thought out, and very inclusive. The food is good, and plentiful.

It has been a relief to know Mum is safe and happy, and she loves the carers. If she can't live at home, this is definitely the next best thing.

When my dad came to the home he had previously spent 10 weeks in hospital, he was underweight, withdrawn and hardly able to stand let alone walk, with the care and patience of this amazing home and its staff my dad has regained his life, he laughs, he walks, he gets up to mischief and has built not only in strength but in his personality, this isn't just a care home it's a home that is always full of laughter. It's comfortable for the residents as well as their family, it's an amazing place and I feel we made the perfect choice for our loved one.. thank you to you all from the bottom of our hearts x

My Mum has been a resident for well over a year now and I can't fault the care she receives. I love the fact that I'm able to discuss her care plan and am always informed of any changes. It's nice to feel included but it's even nicer to know that I no longer need to worry because all her needs are being met.
She has a lovely room which is personalized with some of her own possessions and bits of furniture. It was lovely to be included in the choices for decor. I can't thank the manager enough! The menu is excellent and the food is very tasty. There are regular activities and entertainment which my Mum loves. She gets her hair done once a week and her nails. These are things that were always important to her and she loves a pamper so thank you on her behalf.

I did a lot of research before choosing Spratslade and I am not disappointed with my choice. The manager and all the staff are wonderful, friendly and approachable. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My mother was admitted to Spratslade Hoyse on 18/10/2022 after being in the hospital. She is 105 years old, and right away, she was made welcome. It took a while to settle in, but now she absolutely loves it. The staff are really lovely and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. Always cheerful. When visiting, they meet you at the door, always know your name and who you are visiting, escort you to where my mother is and asks if you want a drink. Could not be more helpful.

My dad receives the best care possible. The carers couldn't do any more for him, they are very supportive to our family too. Dad is well fed, well looked after and the carers are worth their weight in gold, they really should be paid more for the jobs that they do.

The home is cosy and very clean. The resident's rooms are comfortable and private. The furniture and decoration is very good. The lounge area and dining room is clean and spacious. The staff are very good and helpful, and the food is variable. Acitvities are conducted on a regular basis. The care and support are treated with dignity at all times. Safety/securty is excellent. The management are helpful and run the home with care.

My opinion is my mum gets first-class care. We have recently lost my youngest brother, Mum's son, and the staff when we broke the news has been beyond praise. They all show such care and compassion at all times. We, as a family, are more than happy. Had a few hiccups along the way, but all were dealt with very professionally and confidently.
