Mum has been a resident at Spratslade for over three years. Before this, she was in sheltered accommodation and was struggling to cope. The home has been a lifeline for her, and we've seen her confidence increase immensely. She now feels safe and is cared for regarding both medical and hygiene needs and also feels part of a friendly community. All in all, we have seen Mum rally and is enjoying life again since going into the home.

The staff have always been warm, welcoming and informative. My mother has no complaints. They have taken care of all her needs, particularly medical. Previously, she was at home with carers and did not eat properly or ask them to do anything. Since being at Spratslade, she has put weight back on and looks and appears healthy.

My mum has been in Spratslade for 8-months. The difference in her is amazing. She looks a totally different woman from when she first went in there. She looks so much more healthy and happy. She says the staff can't do enough for her, and she loves the company and entertainment they provide. She says her bedroom is really nice, and she wants for nothing. I would definitely recommend Spratslade house to anyone.

Our Mum moved into Spratslade in January 2021, and because of the Covid restrictions, we were unable to look around inside. We got a good feeling about everything and took the decision to accept the place for Mum. We could not have chosen a better place for her. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Mum loves the food and says that there is not one member of staff that she doesn't like or isn't good at their job. When Mum isn't well, the staff are quick to get medical help and always keep us informed.

Mum has settled really quickly, which has helped to reassure us. Staff are friendly and kind. Communication is good and staff know each person and their family on an individual basis. They only addition I would ask for is an additional breakout or small meeting room for families.

A lovely care home. I looked at many and was despairing of finding one that I felt comfortable leaving Mum in. From the very first visit, I felt relieved and happy that Mum would be in safe and caring hands. All the staff are both professional and caring at all times. and have gone the extra mile to help M

My father has been here just over 12 months and received the best care ever. The food is great and there are lots of activities for people to do. The thing that makes this place so great though is the staff. They are all lovely, caring and understanding, they treat my dad as if he was a member of their own family. I cannot recommend Spratslade enough.

My mother has been looked after for the last 6 months here and suffers from dementia. Now that the staff have got to know her and her ways she is very comfortable. She was settled within 2 weeks and I was very surprised and it was a great relief for us. All the staff are attentive and I feel very happy that this is the place we have chosen for my mother.

Since my wife arrived here she has been very well looked after. The standard of care has been excellent and the staff have been outstanding in their care for her and their kindness to us as a family.
The room is of a high standard and is light and comfortable. My wife has been well fed with a wide range of menu's and drinks have been available to us all which is very much appreciated. The medical care and attention is of a high standard which has very much reassured us as a family of my wife's well-being.

The family would highly recommend Spratslade as an excellent care provider.

Since the day she arrived, my sister has been treated with respect, compassion and dignity. Her care and safety is wonderful and all the staff are aware of her physical and mental requirements. We, her family are kept fully informed of any changes in her condition. I am always welcomed in a friendly way with no restrictions on visiting (within normal times) but I am always aware that all the staff are experienced and professional. It has been a pleasure to give this information.

Since moving to Spratslade my mum has been a lot happier. She was in another care home before moving to Spratslade after a stay in hospital the other home said they didn't want mum back as her needs are quite difficult to manage. I'm happy to say I have no such complaints at Spratslade and mum has got her appetite back.

My mother came into the home 4 weeks ago after a few weeks in the hospital. Myself and my family are extremely impressed by the home and the care my mother has received since she came here. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. The staff include me in all decisions about my mother's care and well-being. Happy and settled.

I have always found the staff at the home very caring, treating the clients with respect and always very approachable. The home itself I have always found homely rather than clinical.
The room where my mum spends most of her time is more like sitting in her own living room.
The food is varied and always looks appetizing and there is always plenty of it.

I am very happy with the way my mum is cared for at the home.
