Bracebridge Court was a real find as it provided everything we were looking for in caring for my father. The staff were extremely pleasant and attentive and the home was well run and spotlessly clean. The facilities and layout of the building made it feel very homely and the individual rooms were well

Mum loved her environment and was very comfortable in her lovely room. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Mum's personal care was very kind and she loved having a bath. Sometimes during the night, Mum had to wait for long periods to have help. Personally, I found the service very good, with adequate
communication. My one comment would be that all staff are aware of mobility difficulties with respite residents.

Unfortunately, the 'review policy' very effectively gags people from giving specific details when posting a poor review. All I can say is do not send anyone you care for here! I most definitely do not recommend this place. I would like to say something positive, and the only positive I have is that
some of the day staff are very good.

Since moving to Bracebridge Court, he has been really well looked after which has been so reassuring for his family. He is generally more animated when we visit and regularly tells us how much he likes the food and how comfortable he is.

Mom is looked after very well. All the staff seem extremely caring and we feel reassured that her needs are met. Mom has had a few falls due to a worsening in her condition, they are mainly happening at night and we have been informed each time. I do wonder if more staff are needed during the night
time.

The staff are excellent. So friendly and caring. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it is reassuring to know Mum is so well cared for. My dad was in this care home and we always found it comfortable and friendly, obviously, that was before covid. Pleased that things are gradually getting back to normal. My mother-in-law seems relatively settled here and well cared for.

Bracebridge Court was recommended to us by our GP and we are so pleased with the home. Dad was very nervous but has quickly made friends and settled, which makes the family feel at ease. They go above and beyond to make us welcome and we already feel like part of the Bracebridge family. Dad's room is

My dad recently celebrated his 90th birthday which is a huge milestone. Due to his health, my family in the UK were unable to take him out of the care home but made arrangements directly with the care home management to make his day really special. They did not disappoint! They went out of their way
to decorate the room for him and were happy to accommodate my request to Zoom in (I am in New Zealand and it was important to me to be part of his day even though I couldn't be there). The staff have always been so obliging and happy to help, they are very approachable and understanding of my father's needs. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
It is difficult to rate things like facilities, cleanliness, activities, etc. as I have never visited (Dad became a resident in March 2020) but I have had no complaints!

Placing my mum in a care home was such a huge decision for us during lockdown and wasn’t easy. I feel the home works hard to ensure we can keep in touch as much as we wish. Mum loves the food and her room. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I joined Runwood Homes in 2017 as a Care Team Leader, having previously worked as a Care Assistant in both the private sector and the NHS. With the support of Runwood Homes, I progressed to Deputy Manager, a role I held for five years. In 2025, I was delighted to take on the position of Home Manager at Bracebridge Court.


Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of two girls and love spending my free time taking them on adventures and enjoying quality time together.

Job Title: Care Team Leader Joined: 2015

My name is Donna. I have worked at Bracebridge Court care home for 9 years. I started as a care assistant, then changed my role to Lifestyle Coordinator. I have been in my role now for 7 years. My responsibilities are to plan and conduct activities that bring joy and well-being to our residents; also, I arrange day trips and fetes to raise funds for the home.


I do additional roles at Bracebridge Court as a Care Team Leader on weekends. I also do banking during the week. I have been doing this position for 4 years. I have a passion for caregiving, and I enjoy my job role.


I find it rewarding to see the residents' smiles, and I'm deeply committed to Bracebridge Court. When I am not working, I like to socialise with my family and friends.

Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

My name is Elaine. I work alongside Donna as her Lifestyle Coordinator support. I've worked for the company for 8 years, 6 years as a night shift care assistant. After a period of convalescing, I returned to the company as a Lifestyle Coordinator support and have been doing this for 7 months now. My role involves enhancing the quality of life of our residents.


I ensure all residents have access to a variety of activities. We enjoy our chats and days out.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday.
