I joined Runwood Homes in 2017 as a Care Team Leader, having previously worked as a Care Assistant in both the private sector and the NHS. With the support of Runwood Homes, I progressed to Deputy Manager, a role I held for five years. In 2025, I was delighted to take on the position of Home Manager at Bracebridge Court.


Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of two girls and love spending my free time taking them on adventures and enjoying quality time together.

My name is Donna. I have worked at Bracebridge Court care home for 9 years. I started as a care assistant, then changed my role to Lifestyle Coordinator. I have been in my role now for 7 years. My responsibilities are to plan and conduct activities that bring joy and well-being to our residents; also, I arrange day trips and fetes to raise funds for the home.


I do additional roles at Bracebridge Court, as Care Team Leader on weekends. I also do banking during the week. I have been doing this position for 4 years. I have a passion for caregiving, and I enjoy my job role.


I find it rewarding to see the resident's smiles, and I'm deeply committed to Bracebridge Court. When I am not working, I like to socialise with my family and friends.

My name is Elaine. I work alongside Donna as her Lifestyle Coordinator support. I've worked for the company for 8 years, 6 years as a night shift care assistant. After a period of convalescing, I returned to the company as a Lifestyle Coordinator support and have been doing this for 7 months now. My role involves enhancing the quality of life of our residents.


I ensure all residents have access to a variety of activities. We enjoy our chats and days out.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday.
