All in all the staff are really caring and always look into queries, and meet requests made. They're always open to ideas and really helpful in advising on what their client's needs may be, i.e clothing, activities, etc. Am happy with the hygiene protection for visitors, so this protects clients and staff at the home.

We chose Fourways for Mum after she decided she needed extra help after being in hospital. She has been there for four weeks and we have found the staff to be wonderful, they are very caring and cannot do enough for her. They are very good at communicating with us and are always available to answer any questions. I would thoroughly recommend this carehome.

Father was admitted here 6-months into the pandemic. He died in hospital on the 2nd January 2022. As a family, we have nothing but gratitude for the care staff. We know that Dad was loved and well looked after. And he was always content in his last days. Thank you for the tremendous work you maintained throughout the pandemic. Your care will always be valued.

I found I could no longer care for my husband at home when he was discharged from hospital and he went to Four Ways for two weeks respite. He then decided he would like to be a permanent resident and as I had previous experience of the home due to a relative being a resident for a few years, it was my first choice. Many of the same staff are still there which I think is a good indication. The manager and carers are always welcoming and reassuring if we have any queries. It was my husband’s birthday this week and they did a great job of making his day special, he received a lot of fuss and attention from the staff, which he loved, also a cake and candles. The home has a friendly, homely atmosphere and is warm and cosy.

Wow, what an amazing care home! The staff are always happy and genuinely love and care for the residents. There are always fun activities going on when I’ve been in, and the residents seem really happy, content, and relaxed. Four Ways have a real home-from-home feel. It’s a very special place full of lovely people.

My mother decided for herself that she did not like living "at home" any more so I helped her to choose Four Ways. Initially, it was for respite but after a couple of days, she had a mini-stroke. When she left the hospital after a week she was happy to go back to the home so ended up staying there permanently. She commented to friends that visited (pre-Covid) that she liked living there, which was a great compliment to the home from a lady that had always been very independent.
Over the months she very slowly deteriorated both mentally and physically but the staff were always there to encourage her in every possible way and deal calmly with any mishaps.

After another stay in hospital and some investigations, medical staff there decided that return to the care home was the kindest option for Mother. Four Ways did not hesitate to accept her return. They could have easily declined but continued to show the greatest care that they had over the previous months right up to the very last moment.

My mum was struggling at home and was difficult for my sister and I to be there all the time. Since becoming a resident my mum is a different person and is looked after to such a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble and all staff are hard working and very approachable. This has also helped both my sister and I to feel confident that mum's needs are taken care of to a very high standard. We can be her daughters again now. Throughout the pandemic the staff did everything to ensure their high standards were maintained while having to keep all residents safe. It must have been terrifying at times but the residents were taken such good care of. I am truly grateful to them all.

My mum was diagnosed with dementia and moved into Four Ways about 7-years ago. At first, she was able to use all of the facilities located in her "household" and made friends with other residents. She was always happy and well looked after. About four years ago, she deteriorated to the point where she needed round the clock care and help with all of her bodily functions. At all times, I found the team of carers to be cheerful and kind to my mum, quite often in the face of verbal abuse (due to my mum's condition), at which they just smiled and continued with their work. At the end of my mum's life, they kept me up to date and made sure that the family could visit without having to make an appointment. I can't thank them enough.

The home itself is lovely, particularly on the ground floor where there are tables and chairs to receive visitors, sofas, coffee and tea laid on and a lovely garden in which to sit and think, or just enjoy the fresh air. Thank you, Four Ways.

I first called Four Ways with my daughter seeking a place for my wife, who had suffered from Alzheimer's. For at least 10-years, it was my intention merely to take a look around and check the cost before endeavouring further elsewhere. I was so overwhelmed with the friendly reception from all I spoke to that I booked her in. My first impressions were correct, I received endless love and kindness until she died in March 2021. Due to limited access to the home, I cannot comment with certainty about food/drink and activities.

My brother went into Four Ways care home in 2018 for a respite, we loved it that much he ended staying there for good. The home was clean, friendly and the food was excellent. The carers and all the staff could not do enough for him, nothing was too much trouble for them. He was smiling every time I saw him which he has not done for a while, he was a changed man. He took part in all the activities and loved the garden. All the staff and residents became part of his family. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for him and for making his last couple of years so memorable for me and him. Thank you all once again.

Mum has been a resident at Four Ways for a year now. Mum settled in really well with the help of all the staff who are all very caring and compassionate. Mum is a very plain eater and likes traditional meals. We had a few problems at the beginning but I was able to sit down with the manager and go through a meal plan that suited Mum which was very reassuring for me as Mum had lived with me for over 10 years. All the staff are very friendly and I was able to visit and take Mum out whenever we wanted to. Mum has a lovely room which is full of all her personal belongings which makes it feel very homely. Four Ways is such a lovely home it really feels like home, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I know my mum is really happy then Covid came which made visiting more difficult but garden visits were put in place which over the summer was great. We are now waiting for the garden room to be built which means we can continue to visit over the winter.

My mum has been at Four Ways since June. She settled in really well and is looked after with compassion. It is getting difficult to visit her at the moment with restrictions because of Covid, but hopefully soon the pod in the garden will be ready and visiting can resume in the warm instead of being in the garden now that the weather has begun to turn. I am really pleased that my mum is safe and being looked after by such lovely wonderful staff.

Fourways is a lovely happy place where everyone is made to feel so at home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I have been assisting as volunteer for about two years and work alongside the lifestyle coaches. We have a lot of fun with the residents and it is always a joy to see them engaging in activities and see their smiling faces. The staff at the home often join in and help out and create a welcoming environment.

My mother-in-law lives here and the care though this terrible pandemic has been of the utmost quality. I have recommended Four Ways to friends who are thinking of homes for their elderly relatives. They couldn't be in better hands. Most staff are loving and caring and the office staff and reception staff are always helpful. I know I can talk to the managers about anything to do with my mother-in-law's care. I feel that she and I are treated respectfully. I come every week for my garden visit with her and they have done every thing to make it accommodating and safe for both of us. They are well kitted, organised and friendly. Very, very impressed - thank you.

I thought that the staff at Four Ways overall nice and caring and very kind to my father (two months respite care). I think that more could be done to stimulate the residents, activities, trips, music e5tc. Many just seemed to sit or walk around, some in their bedclothes.

All staff are very caring, have never heard or seen any sign of irritation/impatience. The care home did their utmost to make it possible for my father to return there after a hospital stay. The hospital wanted to discharge him to a nursing home, which he doesn't need.
