The Care Team are wonderful people and make my Mum feel totally at ease. Whenever I visit there is a happy atmosphere amongst the carers, Mum can not speak highly enough
Even though the lockdown phases the families have always been kept well informed by the lovely Manager as to what is happening within the home.
For most families, this is a difficult time losing their loved ones in care, at Low Furlong you are helped to accept this phase and everyone is so kind and caring making sure the translation is made with compassion.
I know my Mum feels loved, valued, and respected and that for me is all I could have ever wished for.

Welcome to Low Furlong, our lovely purpose-built home. I am Amie I work at Low Furlong, situated just on the outskirts of the Cotswolds. Recently being appointed Acting Manager.
We provide person-centred care in our beautiful, busy, and bustling home. I have worked in care for over 20 years and truly believe that residents are at the heart of all we do. Everyone that walks through the door at Low Furlong comments on the lovely atmosphere. Low Furlong has strong links and relationships with the local community and strives to create a family feel whilst providing high quality care and a huge range of activities for residents.
I'm Hannah. I am the Deputy Manager at Low Furlong.
With 10 years of experience at Low Furlong, I am passionate about helping people get the most out of life and ensuring they enjoy themselves along the way. One of my proudest achievements was setting up the PCS system, contributing to Low Furlong’s outstanding CQC rating.
Outside of work, I am an avid racehorse owner, with my trainer being the renowned Donald McCain (whose father famously trained Red Rum). In my free time, I enjoy both horse racing and darts, balancing a love for competition and sport.
I’ve been working as a Care Team Leader for 7 years, and what I love most about my role is making a difference in people’s lives, especially in a home so focused on community and the welfare of its residents. One of my proudest achievements was helping the home achieve an outstanding rating with CQC.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, watching musicals, and going for walks.
I'm Caroline. With over 6 years of experience as a Care Team Leader, I have had the privilege of making a positive difference in the lives of others every day. I take great pride in my specialisation in end-of-life care, where I am also proud to serve as the End of Life Champion. My qualifications include a Level 6 Home Managers Award in Healthcare, demonstrating my commitment to providing exceptional care.
In my role, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and helping them navigate life's challenges. My background in the Army has instilled in me strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills, which I apply to my work in care.
Outside of my professional life, I have a passion for creativity, including making jewellery and caring for animals. Both of these hobbies allow me to express my creativity and care in different ways.
I'm Pat. I’ve been at Low Furlong for 5 years, where I work as a Care Team Leader, dedicating myself to supporting and guiding my team while making meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. My role has given me the opportunity to meet a wide variety of individuals, and every day brings something new and rewarding.
I’m in the process of moving to Shipston and look forward to starting a new chapter there. Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, Teddy, who keeps me company on many of my adventures. I’m known for my ever-changing hair, which I like to switch up weekly—right now, it’s bright pink!
I'm Anna Mae. I have been proudly serving as a Care Team Leader at Low Furlong for 4 years, where I find immense fulfilment in both learning from the residents and collaborating with my colleagues. I am passionate about making a difference in people's lives, and at the end of each day, I feel a deep sense of purpose in knowing that I've contributed to the well-being of those I care for.
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and am currently working towards my Level 5 qualification to continue growing professionally in this field. In addition to my dedication to providing excellent care, I enjoy playing rugby and running—activities that keep me active and focused.
I’ve been a Care Team Leader for 12 years, and I truly enjoy looking after people and making a difference in their lives, especially by improving their quality of life.
One of my proudest achievements has been working in a care home rated Outstanding by CQC. I also once had the amazing experience of singing in a choir at the Royal Albert Hall.
