Park View is a 64-bed care home situated in Warwick. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.

Park View strives to create a homely environment and provide all the comforts of good food, good company and friendly staff, in a calm and restful atmosphere. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, with en-suite toilet facilities. The home also has excellent amenities, including comfortable lounges in which residents can relax. In addition, there is a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those cared for to maintain their independence in a safe environment.

The activities coordinator works closely with residents and families to ensure the activities are meaningful and based on residents' interests. Activities include, motivation 2 music, art therapy, crafts club, bingo, quizzes, trips out, regular entertainment, hair and nail salon and pets as therapy.

Park View have community links with the local college, schools, churches, mobile library support services and hold a monthly Memory Lane Café to offer support and advice to those living with dementia.

My mother in law was adamant she would never go into a care home but as she became more and more immobile, even the regular care visits she received at home were not enough so she agreed to a two week stay at Park View.
She is so much better - she loves the place, the food and her bed and can't praise
the carers highly enough. Needless to say, she wants to stay indefinitely.

My mother has been extremely well cared for and I am especially pleased with how they look after her if she has, say, a fall. Very professional and hardworking staff. My mother is encouraged to join in activities and to enjoy the garden. They take good care over her personal hygiene, which is so important.

My mother was taken into Park View following several stays in hospital. She was in Park View for 11 weeks in total. She received the best possible care at all times. All staff were so friendly, helpful and exceptionally kind. She was always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The individual
rooms are very light in design, spacious and well furnished. The dining rooms have beautiful views over the park and the food is delicious. We loved the supportive atmosphere at Park View. We cannot thank the staff enough. Park View is an exceptional home with excellent staff. We would thoroughly recommend Park View.

I have only recently arrived at Park View Care Home (about 6 weeks) and I am pleasantly surprised at the care and friendliness I am receiving from staff and residents. A doctor is always on call if needed, so after all, if you need to be cared for, Park View is the place.

Park View looked after my husband until his death with loving kindness and compassion. The caring staff were always on hand to look after his every need. I would recommend Park View to anyone looking for a care home.

My father in law has been here for 15 months and is terminally ill. We cannot express how impressed we are with his care. The home is always welcoming, staff are always friendly and helpful.
He always has a smile for his main carers, who feed and wash him. They are both very caring and patient with
him as he is totally bed bound. His room is always clean and fresh.
Chatting to other service users, they are always happy and content.

The ethos of the home is very good. Kindness and consideration are shown to residents at all times, their dignity upheld.
Cleanliness is good, rooms are comfortable, laundry is done well and regularly. Day to day food is good and special occasions are celebrated very well too.
It is reassuring to
know medication is dealt with well and any medical needs are referred to the GP without delay.
The only negative was that several months passed without an activities coordinator.

This care home has potential to be excellent the facilities are new, bright and clean. However, management is lacking (temporary manager since May) so that standards are not maintained.

I looked at several places for my mom before deciding on Park View. It immediately struck me as far nicer than other homes we'd visited.
I am generally very pleased. Staff are great with mom. The food is excellent, the room is great. There doesn't seem to be as much going on in activities nowadays
especially as that was an attraction of Park View when we first came I appreciate staff shortages etc don't help. Generally, really pleased mom is in good hands Thank you.

My mother moved into this care home in March 2017. The food served at all times was of a very high standard and always beautifully presented. Homemade cakes were always available in the lounge for residents and relatives.


After a two-week stay in the hospital, my mother deteriorated but in her last

few weeks in the care home, the staff were extremely caring and loving. I shall be eternally grateful to the amazing carers who sat with her and looked after her.

I am happy living here, the food is excellent and I have a hobby colouring. I get other residents interested in the colouring. Staff are brilliant, always there when I need them. They always speak to me when passing my room. If I ask for anything, it's there for me.

Mum was unable to continue living at home due to mobility problems. Park View was our place of choice (after looking at lots of others). Immediately she was happy and delighted with her new home. Despite suffering falls and breathing difficulties she entered into activities she was interested in and
enjoyed. Hairdressing was a weekly treat and she always looked lovely.
Sadly mum passed away after a hospital stay due to her ongoing infections/conditions. Survey completed based on family findings after mum passed away.

Welcome to Park View Warwickshire. My name is Dani Pathirage and I have been a home Manager for Runwood Homes since 2020. I have developed my career within the company to seek more experience and worked in different homes. I’ve gained vast experience of working in Health and Social care and awareness of CQC Expectations. I have NVQ 5 in Health and social care management and am a Qualified Moving and Handling Trainer. I joined Park View in March 2023, and have made a lot of positive changes around the home. My team and I strive to ensure Park View always provide excellent care to the highest standards. I’ve been a dedicated Care Assistant for 3 years, and I truly take pride in making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. I especially enjoy it when entertainers visit the home, and I love seeing our residents smile and engage. I hold Care Certificates at Levels 2 and 3 and take pride in my role in helping make a positive difference in the lives of others.


One of my proudest achievements is being part of the world record-breaking event for the world’s oldest choir, a Guinness World Record! While I love to sing (even if I’m not the best at it), I know it brings joy to others. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, walking the dogs, and painting.
