Sycamores

Very happy with the care given to my nan. She seems very settled. My nan feels included in the activities, although doesn't always participate. Managers and staff keep in regular contact with family members. My nan was recently in hospital, and Sycamores kept us fully informed of any further developments.

My husband has been in Sycamores for over two years now, and it seems like yesterday. He is happy, and I am also happy to see him every time I visit him in the care home. All the staff are very lovely and friendly; and I am also happy with the management. There is always plenty to eat and drink during all my visits, and I have liberty to take him out of home to spend quality time with him any time I want. The staff look after all his belongings, and I cannot ask for a better place for my husband.

It has obviously been a major change in Mom's life and she has coped so very well and the staff have helped her to do so, from care staff to cleaners and maintenance staff.

We moved Mum to Sycamores after having a bad experience in her previous care home. Since my mother moved into Sycamores, I am really happy with all the care and support my mother has enjoyed from the staff and the management. I cannot in any way identify any concern with the care my mother has been receiving. My mother is a lot happier than she was before moving to Sycamores. I will surely recommend Sycamores 100-per cent to anyone looking for a warm and friendly home with a good ambience from staff and the management to all the residents and their family members.

We cannot tell you how happy we are with the care my husband is treated, also us as visitors. We are made to feel like a welcomed member of the family. My husband is so happy and content; it gives us amazing peace of mind to know he is receiving care as he would at home.

A friend of mine is in care at The Sycamores Leamington Spa. I can only say thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and dedication day in day out. My friend is being well cared for in the later stages of his life; once again, thanks.

I cannot rate Sycamores highly enough. The care my dad has been receiving has been exemplary, and the wonderful staff are so caring and friendly both to him and us. They have always given their time to answer any questions we have had and never minded us making regular phone calls. As a family, we have no doubts that he is in the best place, which has given us a great deal of relief.

Thank you all for your hard work and caring attitude. Forget 5-stars; I'd give at least 10-stars.

We've just got home from visiting Mum. I wanted to say how welcoming the staff were (as usual) and how pleased we are that Mum appears to be settling in. It was particularly nice to be shown a video of Mum dancing yesterday.

The care staff are wonderful.

Really good living here. The staff are angels and they are soo good. They go out of their way. The manager is so caring, and interested in me as a person. Her daughter is a carer and helps me, she is a beautiful person.

I was delighted with the loving care that all the staff gave my mother during the last month of her life. They treated her with dignity and compassion. Thank you.

Overall my sister gets treated pretty well, all her needs are taken care of.

We were made to feel most welcome and given a tour of the home. We were not rushed, asked lots of questions, and also spoke to other members of the team.

Mom looks so much more healthier, and the ambience of the home is wonderful. Everyone is treated as family. We particularly like that there are no restriction times on visiting, and you can even eat with your relative/friend.

Mom always speaks highly of the staff and says that they are all lovely. Mom has dementia and can get frustrated at times, when mom gets this way the staff will call us for her, and pass the phone to ourselves, so we can speak with her and reassure her that everything is ok.

My mother was admitted in April 2017. We have found the staff to be consistently, very caring and they have time to listen.

The food is generally good, with small amounts and often and the chef knows what is liked.

My mother really appreciates having her hair and nails done regularly.

My mother has been at Sycamores for almost 3 years. She is in a safe, secure environment and the low staff turnover contributes to the continuity of care provided. The support and understanding given to myself and my family from management and carers is invaluable - it's a very caring care home!

I was delighted that my aunt was able to stay there after her emergency admission.
