Staff are always attentive to my nana's needs. Even though her Alzheimer's is progressing, she always seems happy. It gives me peace of mind to see she is well looked after. The manager is very passionate about Bramble Lodge Residential & Dementia Care Home and the new refurbishments look amazing. Thank you for taking care of my nana.

What a calm, clean, caring home! We were made to feel so welcome from the first visit. You can feel the love in this home.

We are really pleased with the care that my mum is receiving at Bramble Lodge. The staff are kind, caring and very professional in their approach to looking after Mum. We don't live close to Bramble Lodge but communication and keeping us up to date has been excellent. When we visit we always feel very welcome. Cleanliness is always good and Mum enjoys the food. Mum is very happy and well looked after at Bramble Lodge.

My mum is very well cared for, is comfortable and safe. I can't thank the staff enough for taking such excellent care of Mum, they are, in my opinion, angels. Thank you all so much.

My mum has been in the care home for one year now. A few rocky issues at the beginning due to Mum's nature and the guilt I felt Mum being in a care home with other Alzheimer's residents. This was resolved by the superb support and amazing management carried down to staff level, the carers are compassionate, friendly, always happy and friendly. Mum is now very happy, there is a lot of light and space and activities going on. Mum is well looked after and safe. I feel I visit Mum in her own home now, I couldn't be happier about where Mum is living.

My husband was left unattended in a bathroom which resulted in a fall. The home admitted it was negligence.

However some of the basic needs of residents are sometimes neglected and standards of basic care are falling short of reasonable expectations. Getting concerns tackled effectively can sometimes be difficult to achieve.

The home is clean and well-presented. The managers are always available if help is asked for by the family. The carers are always polite and helpful to both residents and family.

I was so apprehensive when my mum could no longer look after herself and had to go into care. The minute I walked into Bramble Lodge Residential & Dementia Care Home to see her I was so happy that she was settled, clean and I could tell she was being looked after. Bramble Lodge has a daily menu up for all to see. An excellent activity room. A beautiful, well-kept garden where a resident helps to keep it so. All the staff are amazing, the rooms are kept clean and warm and very well appointed. I'm so happy with the whole care.

Bramble Lodge Residential & Dementia Care Home is set in beautiful gardens. It's light and airy. The management and nursing staff are very friendly and attentive. The care is outstanding. Food is excellent and caters to all diets. Cleanliness is excellent and is kept to a high standard. They have entertainment for residents and a daily activities plan each month. The bedrooms are on three floors and most have wetrooms and are very spacious. The sensory room is very nice which also has a fish tank and garden views so it is very relaxing and a quiet area. Overall, the care and support are outstanding.

There is always a good atmosphere in the home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mum is very settled and enjoys chatting to the staff. I understand there are refurbishments planned as the furnishings in Mum's room are quite tired but overall, the surroundings are good. Outings were talked about and it would be good if more of these could be arranged.

We are very pleased with the care that Dad is receiving. All of the staff are plentiful and seem to be very caring and nothing is too much trouble. All round excellent.

It's so reassuring to know that Mum's safe and being looked after by people that genuinely seem to care about her. Thank you!

Because of covid, I haven't been able to see mum for a long time. I've always found the staff here caring and compassionate in what must be a difficult and probably poorly paid job. Mum looks well and well cared for. I haven't been for such a while, I can't answer the questions as accurately as I'd like.

Every time I visit (once a week) my sister-in-law seems very happy, well dressed in her own clothes. The staff are always very friendly, polite and helpful. I am very happy with the checks they carry out for the safety of residents and staff. I would be very happy to recommend Bramble Lodge. Many thanks to the staff for their kindness and care.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Bramble Lodge since April 2021. She took a while to settle in but now appears to be happy, is cared for and looks well. Unfortunately due to covid restrictions, I have yet to see her room or any other rooms in the home, apart from virtually and I cannot visit as often as I would like to. However, I have found all the staff to be extremely friendly and welcoming, including the managers.

When I arrived I was greeted with lots of friendly faces. The COVID test was taken efficiently. My mother was brought to me in the coffee room. All the staff were very helpful coffee/tea were offered to me with a quick chat with a service member of staff updating me on my mother's overall health and well being. I have total confidence in their ability to look after her. Thank you.

Mum has been at Bramble Lodge for three years now. She enjoys her time here, although her sight and mobility cause issues for her to joining in activities. Her room is very nice, and the care she received is attentive as requested from time to time and always dignified. She enjoys the food available, although she can be fussy about certain things.
