All of the staff were super friendly, not only towards my dad but also towards other members of the family visiting. Staff were really helpful and supportive, guiding us through what was a new experience for us all. Thank you all. Keep doing a great job!

My father is a resident here. The staff are brilliant, very caring and can't do enough for residents. My mum was also a resident here previously before her passing and again, the staff were brilliant with her.
Would definitely recommend this home.

I have spent 2 weeks here recovering from surgery. I have been really well looked after and made to feel welcome.
There was a tempting choice of meals every day, a comfortable room always kept clean.
All staff were pleasant, polite and made to feel nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend
West Hallam Care Home.

Thank you to all the amazing staff at West Hallam Care Home for taking such great care of my Mum for the 3 months that she was with you for respite care. On every occasion that I visited, I found the staff to be immensely welcoming, thoughtful, and kind and they were always on the ball with Mum’s medication
and condition changes. The setting itself is very clean, friendly, and calm not to mention a great range of activities, along with encouragement to participate. Should my Mum need further respite care or a permanent placement I wouldn’t hesitate to choose West Hallam Care Home again knowing that she herself was very happy with her care.

My father came in for respite care for 1 week. This was a very difficult decision for us but all our worries were avidly resolved as the care my father received was second to none. He was cared for and all his care needs were met. He was clean and made to feel very welcome. You all do a fantastic job,

The decision for Mum to move into care was a difficult one. We looked around West Hallam and were greeted with a smile. The residents seemed content. Six months on we know it was the right decision, Mum is settled, well-fed and warm. She has engaged in numerous activities put in place by the team and
enjoyed visits out to cafes, dancing and the pantomime just like her old life.

After visiting many other larger care homes we visited West Hallam Care Home and found it to be warm, welcoming and most of all homely. It was an easy decision and process with the support of the staff. Mum settled really quickly, she is happy and smiling whenever we visit. She is obviously well cared
for and the staff are extremely engaging with her. The activities program is fabulous and varies on a week-to-week basis. The staff deserve a 5-star rating, they are so kind and accommodating with nothing being too much trouble.

I cannot express how grateful we are, as a family, of the care Mum received. The staff were kind and compassionate and always went the extra mile.
Mum was looked after with dignity and the staff and residents became like a second family.
At the end of Mum's life, the love and empathy shown to us all
was really appreciated. All I can say is thank you!

My neighbour has been in the Care Home since December 2023, I visit most days and can see she is being well looked after.
The room is always clean and warm, also bed linen changed everyday.
They always try and encourage her to eat and drink, the food looks good.
The staff are very friendly and always
happy to help with any questions and queries I have.
The lounge and dining areas are bright, and welcoming and can see activities going on if the residents want to join in.

We needed emergency care for my mum after she flooded her house and we were able to get her in very quickly. The home is very nice and all the staff I have come into contact with have been amazing, my mum seems to have settled really well.

The staff work hard and communicate well with each other, the residents, and their relations. There's an excellent variety of activities for those interested in engaging. My mother has been living at West Hallam Care Home for less than 2 weeks, previously having resided at two local nursing homes. I cannot believe the difference in her demeanour. She is happy and contented for the first time in two years. The management is superb, really hands-on and very caring. The
staff are all extremely friendly and obviously care very much about the residents. The food is very good and the general care of my mum is excellent. What a relief to at least find somewhere very good.

My mother-in-law had been at West Hallam Care Home for approx 12 months before she passed away. The staff are all very supportive and promote independence, whilst maintaining dignity and privacy. They promote enrichment into their lives by offering a range of activities and outings. She had a fabulous
12 months, building relationships with other residents and staff. Her quality of life was excellent and fulfilled even though she had dementia and other health conditions. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants the best for their loved one.

My dad was so happy at West Hallam. All the staff were absolutely fabulous. They looked after him and cared for him so well. There is a real family ethos in the home.
